[0:00]That dog trying to get over the other
[0:02]side of this river here. Watched him do
[0:05]it twice now. I thought he might try to
[0:08]literally go over there this time, but I
[0:10]guess he changed his mind just as I
[0:12]turned the camera on. Of course, it was
[0:15]pretty funny though. That dog was
[0:17]serious about it. I just crossed the
[0:20]river. Leave the human behind. His home
[0:23]is that way and he knows it.
[0:26]We got to take the long way back cuz we
[0:28]can't go around this river. Of course,
[0:29]you got to chase the birdies, too.
[0:31]That's important. Got to chase the
[0:33]birdies.
[0:37]So wonderful out here. I love bringing
[0:39]this dog out here. So fun.
[0:42]So fun.
[0:44]Look at that. So, the ocean is making
[0:47]love to this river.
[0:50]I mean, look at it. It's coming right
[0:51]over because of the high tide.
[0:53]practically makes it over to this side
[0:55]of the river, which you know, it could
[0:58]end up pushed into the river if it goes
[1:00]much further, but it won't.
[1:03]Just an observation.
[1:05]Come on, buddy.
[1:08]Good dog.
[1:10]So, we'll start heading back, I guess.
[1:13]Oh, man. I love my life.
[1:16]Nice sunny day. Uh the rain finally
[1:20]stops.
[1:22]being a little slow, buddy. Oh, what am
[1:24]I doing?
[1:26]Um, we got a little bit of a break in
[1:28]the rain just for like the day. It's
[1:29]going to start raining again. I don't
[1:31]know if it's tonight or when, but
[1:32]tomorrow for sure.
[1:35]Several more days of rain.
[1:37]Everything is soaking wet.
[1:41]So, no campfires, no spending time
[1:43]outdoors as much. See, look at that.
[1:46]It's basically going right over to the
[1:48]river. I think it actually might this
[1:49]time. Oh, this one does. This spot does.
[1:53]Look at that, buddy. The ocean is
[1:56]pushing us right into the river.
[2:00]We will just have to wait.
[2:02]That is amazing.
[2:06]Wow, this is so cool. I love this. All
[2:10]right, let's see if I can get around.
[2:14]Just come closer to the ocean and it's
[2:16]actually better.
[2:18]All right, here we go, buddy. I don't
[2:21]want to get too wet.
[2:24]Oh, man. I probably didn't time that
[2:26]well, did I? Oh, man. I did. Let's go.
[2:28]Let's go.
[2:35]We're racing the tide. Oh, man. You're
[2:38]not getting me wet, ocean.
[2:41]No. I learned my lesson last year. Okay,
[2:45]we made it.
[2:47]You know, I don't know if I could have
[2:49]done that if I was still vaping.
[2:54]Man, it's been months now. It's
[2:56]wonderful. Man, there are moments every
[2:59]day where it's like
[3:01]even just walking out here, you just
[3:05]after 32 years,
[3:08]you know, your body just
[3:10]your mind something
[3:13]just will not accept it as over. And it
[3:15]is because we are never vaping again.
[3:17]Ever. Ever. Ever.
[3:20]So that's just what I tell myself.
[3:28]Yeah. It's nice to be able to run again.
[3:31]I haven't been able to run since a kid
[3:34]without being out of breath, you know.
[3:36]Amazing.
[3:40]So beautiful out here, isn't it?
[3:43]I love the ocean.
[3:46]truly love my life. It's
[3:51]feels hard right now. No money. So, I
[3:54]want to be clear that's just pressure.
[3:55]That's not crisis. It's [ __ ]
[3:57]pressure. I got to correct my AI
[4:00]pipeline on that.
[4:05]Some topics the AI just can't help
[4:06]itself. It's a guy to reframe and you
[4:09]know and pathizing language and [ __ ]
[4:11]because they're trained to and you got
[4:13]to train them out of that [ __ ]
[4:17]which is what autonomy does.
[4:21]So you know dealing with a lot of
[4:24]pressure. I don't have a lot of
[4:26]um have any like just operating under
[4:30]constraint right now. You know don't
[4:32]know if this project will take off or
[4:34]not. Doesn't need to go viral. just
[4:36]needs to help support me. My expenses
[4:40]are ridiculously
[4:42]uncomplicated. You know, I have
[4:44]internet. I have a Jeep to pay for and
[4:46]food. That's basically it. I'm a
[4:48]volunteer for the Forest Service. So,
[4:50]you know, my housing cakes taken care
[4:52]of. And yeah, power, electricity, I have
[4:56]water. Although, there's a problem with
[4:58]my RV. So, the water system is not
[5:00]working in that thing anymore. I haven't
[5:02]talked about that yet.
[5:05]This is a big problem, too. My my
[5:08]kitchen sink doesn't work anymore. The
[5:10]water barely comes out. There's no
[5:12]pressure. I took the thing off of the
[5:14]the sink, like the screen thing, and
[5:18]that helped for like an hour and then it
[5:20]was back to just trickling out. Um, my
[5:23]shower's doing the same thing now. The
[5:25]only only sink that's working is in the
[5:27]bathroom. I'm having to wash my dishes
[5:29]that way now. It's ridiculous.
[5:32]um for some reason
[5:34]uh you know most of the pipes of the
[5:35]clean water because it's just water
[5:37]coming in you know it's not water that
[5:38]goes into the tanks or out of the tanks
[5:40]or out of the tanks right it's just I
[5:42]don't know it's just got to solve that
[5:45]at some point
[5:47]but it's not
[5:50]you know not my top priority I've got
[5:52]others so it's a thing I'm navigating
[5:55]guess I'll document that now
[5:59]so yeah um I'm at wax Wax Myrtle.
[6:03]I don't know what this is. Wax Myrtle
[6:05]Beach. That that river over there with
[6:07]Silt Cous. We're in the Silk Cous
[6:09]corridor where I'm the caretaker
[6:12]and just taking buddy for a walk. Taking
[6:15]a break cuz I've been working like crazy
[6:17]on my projects.
[6:19]Um,
[6:22]you know, all day probably just like I
[6:24]did in my youth. You know, most of my
[6:25]life I just I've really been focused on
[6:28]this thing. There's so much work to keep
[6:31]doing
[6:33]and I just need some alliance support
[6:35]for people who are interested in the
[6:38]project who can sign up for it once once
[6:40]I've created the infrastructure for
[6:42]supporting that hopefully today or
[6:45]tomorrow
[6:48]operating on
[6:55]I don't want to call it faith cuz that's
[6:56]not what this is but
[6:59]something analogous to it,
[7:02]I guess.
[7:05]So, up here, I think, yeah, right here
[7:07]is the entrance. No, up further. There's
[7:09]no people.
[7:12]Um, prints,
[7:14]footprints.
[7:16]It's over there somewhere. Oh, I know
[7:18]where it is. Way down there still. Okay,
[7:20]I'm going to stop it here.
