[0:00]Buddy, come this way.
[0:04]That [ __ ] is going to be so wet. Trying
[0:07]to get us to the ocean, but there's a
[0:09]lot of water here today. Good dogging.
[0:13]Let's try the other way.
[0:16]Let's try the other way.
[0:21]So, I've been working all morning. It's
[0:23]like 2:00 in the afternoon now. I
[0:24]decided to take a break. Bring the dog
[0:26]to the beach.
[0:29]I didn't realize that this would be
[0:31]there's not normally this much water
[0:33]here.
[0:34]Maybe it's high tide or something.
[0:36]Learning the patterns for here.
[0:41]I don't know if this is part of the
[0:42]river or not. Just
[0:47]if we can get around, we'll try.
[0:49]Otherwise, much longer route.
[0:52]He's a good dog. Off leash.
[0:56]Really glad he listened to me. Got to
[0:58]grab something here.
[1:02]Hold on.
[1:05]Hold on, buddy. He's waiting for me down
[1:08]there. What a good dog.
[1:11]Was an awesome dog.
[1:14]So, yeah. Anyways, um
[1:17]finished I finished the Sanctum
[1:21]um payment flow, authentication layer,
[1:25]all of that. It's ready. I'm just
[1:27]waiting for Paddle, the payment
[1:29]processor, to approve my account. They
[1:32]rejected me at first. I think it might
[1:33]have been automated. So, we'll see. I
[1:35]sent them a support ticket
[1:40]once they approve it. Assuming that they
[1:43]do. No reason they shouldn't.
[1:46]I can activate it. Buddy, let's go this
[1:49]way. Come on.
[1:52]Come on, buddy.
[1:54]He's just tracking sense.
[1:57]This is pretty cool. Don't want to get
[1:59]wet and get into the ocean.
[2:03]He doesn't like the ocean, but he
[2:04]doesn't seem to mind water. That's
[2:05]interesting to me.
[2:08]I think this might be the river
[2:11]or like overflow of the river.
[2:14]I don't know if we'll be able to get to
[2:16]the ocean in this way.
[2:18]It's worth knowing that. So, we're going
[2:21]to find out. I'm going to turn the
[2:23]camera around, let you watch the hike,
[2:24]and I'll just keep talking.
[2:27]Hopefully that's interesting some of
[2:28]you. So, anyways, um I finished Anum.
[2:33]Uh just waiting on the payment processor
[2:36]now.
[2:39]Really happy about this. I think it is
[2:42]the start of a new era. I don't expect
[2:45]that many people sign up.
[2:48]Um,
[2:49]there's four people I've been
[2:51]communicating with for a long time and
[2:53]I'm giving them off free access. They
[2:55]can override that if they choose to, but
[2:57]it'll be free if they want it. Um,
[3:00]that's always an option, too. If there's
[3:02]somebody who really wants access and
[3:04]just can't afford it, they can always
[3:06]get in touch with me. I can provide them
[3:08]with a link that will give them free
[3:10]access
[3:12]and I'm happy to do that. That's still
[3:14]alignments.
[3:16]If you're reaching out and asking about
[3:18]it,
[3:19]you know, that's
[3:22]I do treat that differently. There's
[3:24]context to that.
[3:29]So, I'm could really use some funds to
[3:31]get some basic provisions. If you're
[3:34]listening to this and you can help and
[3:35]it resonates, I would really appreciate
[3:37]it. Even $20 would help a lot. I'll
[3:40]include a link in this one to my
[3:42]contribute page where you can pay me
[3:44]through PayPal or Venmo.
[3:47]I would really appreciate it.
[3:50]If you're waiting for Sanctum, some
[3:52]things about that. So, it'll be a
[3:55]couple, as far as I know, Paddle only uh
[3:57]distributes funds twice a month. So, I
[4:00]won't uh see those funds right away,
[4:03]even once it's activated. And I'm
[4:05]offering a 7-day refund policy.
[4:09]So, I got to wait a week after that
[4:11]before spending any funds.
[4:14]Um, so I'm still a ways out before that
[4:16]generates any kind of revenue for me.
[4:19]So, if anyone in the line can help mean
[4:21]a lot.
[4:25]I'm having a good day. I'm feeling
[4:26]pretty good. Had to navigate some
[4:30]tension with someone. They're giving me
[4:32]unsolicited advice. Started thinking
[4:35]about this. It's not the advice that
[4:36]bothers me. It's
[4:39]the structure behind it. Why they offer
[4:41]it because that means they're
[4:44]misrecognizing me. They're projecting
[4:46]and um
[4:50]you know they don't see my wholeness.
[4:51]They don't they think I need rescuing
[4:53]all of that. And I recognize it. I feel
[4:56]it as distortion
[4:58]and I have to put up a boundary over
[4:59]that. It's why I don't allow comments on
[5:01]YouTube. That's why I built the Sanctum
[5:04]service. So, I was a little surprised
[5:07]that they even went there.
[5:10]All right, buddy. We're going to have to
[5:11]go another way, buddy. Buddy, come on.
[5:14]Come on, buddy. We're going to find a
[5:17]different way. This isn't working.
[5:20]There's a long way. I'll have to put him
[5:21]on the leash, though.
[5:27]So, I drove up to see him. Uh, Bill and
[5:30]and buddy were outside.
[5:33]He ran to my Jeep before I could really
[5:35]get anywhere. I was worried about
[5:36]hitting him. So, I just stopped, tried
[5:38]to get him in my Jeep um and just drive
[5:40]him with me, but he wouldn't jump in it
[5:45]or I would have taken him the other way,
[5:47]maybe.
[5:49]What a what a good dog. You know, he's
[5:51]not going too far.
[5:53]He's you know, he's aware of me. He's
[5:55]not
[5:57]This is perfect. I'm glad I can trust
[5:59]him this much.
[6:01]Yep. See, just checking to make sure I'm
[6:03]still running with that American dog.
[6:09]So, that's really it. I don't have
[6:10]anything else to share right now. Say
[6:13]one thing. So, yesterday I was talking
[6:15]about
[6:16]um a new feature called L lineage.
[6:20]Um I framed it as sort of like a wiki
[6:23]style survival documentation, but it's
[6:27]more than that. Um, it's a field manual.
[6:31]It's not just about survival. It's about
[6:33]how to live fully.
[6:35]Um,
[6:37]learn the present state that we're
[6:39]living through, which I consider to be
[6:40]collapse already. And what comes next,
[6:45]what I would call post collapse, post
[6:47]institutional.
[6:49]Buddy, don't go that way. Stay over
[6:52]here.
[6:54]That would be wild. Oh man.
[6:57]Where did this dog go?
[7:02]Buddy. Buddy, don't go that way. Buddy,
[7:07]come on.
[7:09]You're so funny. I'm going to show that
[7:12]one to him. Oh, what a dog. I really
[7:16]want a dog, man. I don't know.
[7:20]Maybe it's good enough just to be able
[7:22]to take this one for walks, right?
[7:25]He's a good dog.
[7:29]Got to find a trail. It's over here
[7:31]somewhere.
[7:36]It's a beautiful day.
[7:39]Bill's telling me we're getting rain for
[7:40]the next 4 days starting tomorrow. So,
[7:42]the rain's coming back. Buddy, don't go
[7:44]that way. Come on. We're going to the
[7:47]trail.
[7:48]We're going to go the normal route to
[7:50]the ocean and we're never getting over
[7:51]there.
[7:54]It's right over here somewhere.
[7:56]Yeah, I near that bird thing.
[8:00]Bird houses.
[8:03]So, the rain's coming back to the coast.
[8:06]Um, that should be nice. I do like the
[8:08]rain, but I also really love days like
[8:10]this, especially on the Oregon coast. I
[8:11]mean, it's amazing.
[8:13]So,
[8:15]definitely want to take advantage of it.
[8:20]I think I'll just leave it there.
[8:23]I'll upload this when I get back. And as
[8:26]you continue
[8:28]like always, I dropped Woody off at home
[8:31]and drove down to our days to get to the
[8:33]ocean right in front of me.
[8:37]Beautiful,
[8:39]perfect, gorgeous thing.
[8:43]We're going to trace the waves this way
[8:45]towards the ATVs.
[8:48]I don't have much to share, so I'm just
[8:50]going to share the view.
[9:18]Better map today.
[9:22]Heat.
[9:41]Heat.
[9:56]Heat.
[10:12]Heat.
[10:35]Okay, I guess we can get closer.
[11:07]Heat.
[11:10]Heat.
[11:14]Heat. Heat.
[11:46]Heat.
[11:57]Heat.
[12:09]Oh, I see some ATVs in the distance. We
[12:11]might see those coming this way.
[12:16]That sign is where they're supposed to
[12:17]stop.
Summary
rswfire takes a break from work to walk Buddy (a dog) to the beach, encountering unexpected high water that blocks their usual route. He reports completing the Sanctum payment flow and authentication layer, now waiting for Paddle payment processor approval after initial rejection. He requests financial support through PayPal/Venmo for basic provisions, explaining Paddle's payment schedule delays. He discusses handling unsolicited advice from someone who misrecognizes his wholeness. He clarifies that the Lineage feature is more than survival documentation - it's a field manual for living fully through collapse and post-institutional phases. The transmission includes extended footage of the beach walk and ocean views.
