[0:00]So, I'm going to try to make this a
[0:02]somewhat functional update.
[0:06]Uh, it's 8:30 p.m. here on the West
[0:09]Coast.
[0:12]It's been a very long day. I didn't
[0:13]sleep much last night. I was up very
[0:15]late and got up very early and had a
[0:17]very long day. So, I'm pretty tired
[0:19]tonight. I'm going to go to sleep soon,
[0:20]I think.
[0:23]Um, but I want to mark a moment.
[0:27]So, I learned yesterday that I was
[0:31]moving um from being a volunteer park
[0:33]host at a campground to becoming a
[0:35]caretaker, a volunteer caretaker
[0:38]where you're just embedded on on federal
[0:41]land, but not inside a campground. It's
[0:44]different, a completely different role.
[0:48]It was something that I was I was
[0:50]working towards. I um but then when the
[0:54]shutdown happened, it kind of put
[0:56]everything into limbo for a while and um
[1:00]I didn't I just I didn't have any
[1:02]noticed. Um just yesterday is when I got
[1:05]confirmation that it's it's done. It's
[1:07]you know
[1:08]um it's official.
[1:12]And so I moved today. I spent the
[1:16]afternoon yesterday
[1:18]packing up my stuff.
[1:22]Um, I towed my Jeep behind my RV for the
[1:25]first time in in like six 10 months. I
[1:29]mean, it's October, so
[1:32]well, let me think. I mean, since
[1:34]honeymoon, that was the last time I had
[1:35]to tow my my Jeep. So, um, that was
[1:39]March. So, seven, six, seven months. Um,
[1:42]so that was fun, you know. I I love I
[1:45]love hooking up my Jeep and towing it.
[1:47]There's just it's it's I always thought
[1:49]that part was fun. So, um you know, and
[1:52]I moved and I got my site set up and um
[1:58]I'm waiting to be trained. That will be
[2:00]I I don't know when. Maybe tomorrow,
[2:02]maybe a couple days from now, but
[2:03]sometime this week.
[2:06]There's no connectivity where I am
[2:10]nothing works. my phone does not work
[2:12]and my Starlink had already been
[2:14]cancelled.
[2:16]So, when I got here, I had
[2:19]had no connection to the outside world,
[2:24]but a viewer
[2:27]uh asked me to do some consulting work
[2:29]with them. I don't know how in depth
[2:30]this will go yet. We'll see.
[2:34]But they they helped. They sent me $200
[2:37]today.
[2:38]I used 150 of that to turn my Starlink
[2:42]back on and the rest is just in my bank
[2:45]right now.
[2:47]I still need to cover the cost of my
[2:50]hosting at $70 a month and I'm on the
[2:53]second month. It's going to get shut off
[2:55]soon, which means my website goes down.
[2:56]I just really need to avoid that if I
[2:58]can. So, it's at $140 right now.
[3:03]My Jeep insurance got cancelled.
[3:05]Fortunately, I didn't have to go far,
[3:07]you know, and I didn't drive it. I towed
[3:09]it. So,
[3:12]I need to get that restored and I have
[3:14]to pay my
[3:17]uh G payment of $400 like like nine days
[3:21]from now or or it enters repossession
[3:24]status, which would be absolutely
[3:27]tragic.
[3:29]I own my last sheep outranked. I used
[3:32]that to trade. I traded that in for the
[3:34]one I have now. This is like my fifth or
[3:36]sixth Jeep.
[3:40]There's nothing I'll have more. Truly,
[3:42]it's
[3:45]I can't imagine my life without it. It
[3:48]would just be it would be terrible.
[3:52]But at this particular moment, I have no
[3:54]idea how I'm going to pay it. It's just
[3:56]um that's reality. That's where I am
[3:58]right now.
[4:00]In my last video, I talked about what my
[4:02]plans are. Those have not changed.
[4:05]I will be doing some consulting work,
[4:08]which is kind of related to what I'm
[4:10]doing with Sanctum. So I
[4:14]um I feel it's aligned and it's exactly
[4:18]what I was hoping to do was to
[4:21]um
[4:27]basically work on my own projects and
[4:29]other people's in order to earn earn
[4:31]revenue.
[4:33]Um
[4:35]hopefully Sanctum becomes a self-
[4:37]sustaining platform. I mean that is the
[4:39]hope. That's the goal. Well, that's the
[4:41]hope.
[4:43]We'll see. I have
[4:46]very deep ideas and plans that I've I've
[4:50]probably never talked about. Well, I
[4:52]certainly haven't. And um
[4:57]it's it's too much to share right now.
[5:00]But um
[5:04]I always knew what I was doing.
[5:08]People tend to doubt me.
[5:11]or
[5:13]or project ideas onto that just I'm
[5:18]never really seen and I I've learned to
[5:20]just accept that. I'm not apologizing
[5:23]for it. I'm not explaining myself. None
[5:25]of that. I am embarking on a life path
[5:28]that looks very different for most
[5:30]people, but it's coherent
[5:33]and necessary
[5:37]and my life's work.
[5:42]Everything in my life,
[5:45]I built me to where I am now.
[5:50]the fact I have no money. Precarity says
[5:53]nothing about uh my value.
[5:59]Sometimes I would tell you guys I made
[6:01]$180,000 a year before I moved into my
[6:04]RV. And that's true.
[6:08]I don't like saying it though because it
[6:10]sounds
[6:14]it's not about the money. The only
[6:16]reason I would even say that is to tell
[6:17]you guys, look, I know how to be
[6:19]successful.
[6:22]This is
[6:24]operating from a different set of
[6:26]metrics,
[6:31]a real ones,
[6:33]because the ones that we've created for
[6:35]our world are
[6:38]fragmented and
[6:45]will inevitably lead to collapse.
[6:50]There's
[6:54]so much I hope to do. I hope we have
[6:56]time for it all.
[7:05]I guess I think that we do because
[7:11]there are some things I'm still just not
[7:13]ready to say.
[7:19]I just say that that my life feels very
[7:21]aligned and
[7:30]I'm going to be working very hard on
[7:31]this project as I talked about. Oh, I
[7:34]did want to say that this is probably
[7:35]one of my last public videos. Um,
[7:40]there will be another one when I
[7:42]announce Sanctum, but beyond that, like
[7:44]future videos are going to be they'll be
[7:46]unlisted and they'll be available on my
[7:49]website, but they're going to be through
[7:51]the Sanctum service. So, it's because I
[7:55]want to be able to talk about certain
[7:56]things that I'm just not comfortable
[7:58]talking about in this current format
[8:02]for many reasons
[8:05]and not obvious ones. So, you know,
[8:08]people make a lot of assumptions, but
[8:10]it's it's not what most people would
[8:12]think of.
[8:15]I
[8:18]know that this is
[8:20]precisely what I'm supposed to be doing
[8:23]and I hope that some of you will follow
[8:25]me there. Um, you'll get an announcement
[8:28]from me when it's ready.
[8:31]In the meantime, I am holding on by a
[8:33]threat in some ways,
[8:37]but as you can see, I'm perfectly calm
[8:38]and coherent and
[8:42]analytical. all the things that I always
[8:44]am
[8:47]less than that
[8:50]an important one.
[8:54]It's my architecture something that I
[8:59]I spent a lifetime perfecting, crafting,
[9:08]learning to trust.
[9:12]And now I'm learning to describe it to
[9:14]others to turn it into frameworks and
[9:26]hopefully find ways that
[9:28]that it will benefit others because
[9:34]it gets complicated here. So I'll just
[9:36]stop there.
[9:47]It's important to me to document these
[9:49]things.
[9:56]I just look forward to the day when I'm
[9:58]able to ingest all these into my signal
[10:00]database and then just ask AI turn it
[10:03]into a myth for me. take the last two
[10:05]years of my life and just make a
[10:07]mythological narrative out of it just
[10:10]for the hell of it, just for fun because
[10:11]you know it's AI and it can take on any
[10:14]frame you ask it to. But obviously the
[10:17]more serious one is
[10:19]mirror back reflect my life to me over
[10:22]these past two years. What was this
[10:24]moment about in the larger picture?
[10:28]And it will have a solid [ __ ] answer.
[10:36]I'm building something the world's going
[10:38]to need.
[10:41]I'm doing it by myself alone.
[10:44]No funding, no backers.
[10:48]At the edge of everything.
[11:06]I think we're moving beyond that. I
[11:08]think
[11:10]I think Sanctum is
[11:16]has a great deal of potential.
[11:24]I'm going leave it there. I just want
[11:25]you guys to know what my plans are and
[11:28]um
[11:32]just I can't keep posting these publicly
[11:33]because I want to be able to talk about
[11:35]my life life and
[11:39]for a number of reasons I just can't do
[11:41]that in this format but I can do it
[11:45]through Sanctum.
[11:50]So now I just got to finish building it.
