[0:01]Hi there.
[0:03]So, I don't really have a plan for this
[0:05]video except how I'm going to start it.
[0:08]Going to start a little differently than
[0:10]I usually do. Start by thanking a couple
[0:13]of people.
[0:16]One of them is named Kurt. I know he
[0:18]wouldn't mind me saying his name on
[0:19]video because he has his own YouTube
[0:20]channel.
[0:22]Not sure when he started following me um
[0:25]watching my channel. It was probably a
[0:28]couple months ago,
[0:30]long into my journey, and he helped me
[0:32]at a moment that I needed to help. And
[0:34]again, today, and I thank you for that.
[0:36]Thank you so much.
[0:39]And someone else, um, I won't say her
[0:42]name because she's just a viewer of my
[0:44]channel. She doesn't have a YouTube or
[0:45]anything like that. So, so protecting
[0:48]privacy,
[0:49]but I want to acknowledge her. She did
[0:51]the same thing. She's been following me
[0:53]for most of my journey. I don't know how
[0:56]much of it, but a good long long part of
[0:58]it because I can remember her helping me
[1:01]once when I had an incident with my RV
[1:04]where I thought it became a fire hazard.
[1:06]And this was way back in Kentucky.
[1:09]And me and my cat ended up staying at a
[1:11]hotel for a couple of days while we got
[1:13]someone out to look at it.
[1:16]Um, she stayed in touch occasionally and
[1:21]uh, she helped me today, too. I had sent
[1:24]out an email to just a couple of people
[1:26]that had had helped me in the past,
[1:29]hoping that they might be able to help
[1:31]me now, not expecting anything, but
[1:35]being at the point where where that was
[1:38]truly the last option I could think of
[1:41]trying to make my circumstances a little
[1:44]bit better.
[1:47]They came through and I thank you both
[1:49]for that. So, all in all, I ended up
[1:52]with $200 that I didn't have at the
[1:54]start of start of the day.
[1:57]And I use that um to get a few
[2:01]groceries, some coffee, some milk, so I
[2:04]can make my juice. Um
[2:08]I make juices sometimes from from milk,
[2:10]spinach, and some frozen fruits that I
[2:13]have. I did, you know, it's the
[2:15]healthiest thing I do truly.
[2:17]And I needed some milk for that. And I
[2:19]got some bread and um some hamburger
[2:22]meat. I didn't get a whole lot. I just
[2:24]I'm still learning to
[2:27]live differently. I've
[2:30]you know I'm learning to expand what I'm
[2:33]willing to eat and you know learning to
[2:37]cook and all of that. This has been a
[2:39]process for me for quite quite a long
[2:41]time. The first thing I did was put put
[2:44]fuel in my Jeep. It was so low the
[2:46]yellow light had come on. It had to be
[2:47]less than, you know, like like a
[2:50]sixeenth of a tank, something like that.
[2:52]It was real low. I wasn't sure if I
[2:54]would make it to a gas station, but I
[2:56]did. And I filled that up first thing I
[2:58]did. That made me feel so much better.
[3:00]Something about having feeling that Jeep
[3:01]really matters to me.
[3:04]Um, and then I went I picked up a
[3:06]friend, another volunteer, and we went
[3:07]into town together, and that's when I
[3:08]went grocery shopping. I got a couple of
[3:11]vapes. Being completely transparent,
[3:14]getting these for pretty cheap these
[3:15]days. There's a special going on in town
[3:17]where you can get them for five bucks.
[3:20]Um, got a Mountain Dew two of them
[3:25]because I'm quing this stuff. I'm
[3:28]I spent yesterday just stuck here and I
[3:32]had no pop and I was on my last bait.
[3:34]That was pretty bad. And I tried some
[3:37]teas. I ended up discovering there is
[3:40]one that I like. It's called Kombucha, I
[3:42]think, something like that. It's a green
[3:44]tea, but it's And I tend to like the
[3:47]green teas the most, but this one felt
[3:50]like something I could drink, something
[3:52]I could replace Mountain Dew with. Um,
[3:56]and some other things like my water that
[3:58]I mix with electrolytes and chili
[4:00]powder. You know, I'm um that was
[4:02]something else I got today. I got some
[4:04]lime and some lemon in town cuz I can
[4:06]put those in my teas and in my water and
[4:08]that makes it more drinkable for me
[4:11]without having to rely on Mountain Dew.
[4:13]I'm always iterating. That's just how I
[4:15]work.
[4:19]Um, then I went into another campground
[4:22]to see some other volunteers to ask if
[4:24]somebody had a fuel um, can that I could
[4:26]borrow because I wanted to get some
[4:28]diesel fuel to put in my RV so I
[4:30]wouldn't have to take this into town
[4:31]when I have to move. I move next week.
[4:34]I'm going to become a caretaker and I'll
[4:36]be living at um, on a campground just in
[4:40]a corridor. We call them corridors. We
[4:43]have like these long roads in the forest
[4:45]that
[4:46]tend tend to have multiple campgrounds
[4:48]in them and just different areas and I'm
[4:50]just in one of the areas you know they
[4:52]have days areas and they have
[4:54]campgrounds and just
[4:57]um
[4:59]you know infrastructure and there's a
[5:00]spot where they put the caretaker and
[5:03]that's Robbie and I just wanted to
[5:08]I didn't have very much feel in this
[5:09]thing. I had
[5:12]um by the time I started volunteering
[5:15]for you know for the um for the forest
[5:19]service after the state parks
[5:23]I had very little fuel in this thing and
[5:25]I had put just enough fuel in it that I
[5:27]could get to Cous Bay which is 40 miles
[5:29]from where I am because that's where I
[5:31]thought I was going to start and I
[5:32]didn't end up starting there but um cuz
[5:35]they kept me up here
[5:37]right next to him and it's wild to I
[5:39]mean,
[5:41]and we're part of the same dunes. I
[5:43]mean,
[5:46]ever since then, you know, since April.
[5:50]Um,
[5:52]so that'll just make that day a little
[5:54]bit easier because there's a lot to, you
[5:56]know, I got to move um with my slide
[5:58]working. I don't I can't use the top of
[5:59]it as storage anymore. So, I actually
[6:02]put stuff in the storage shed.
[6:05]moving is a little more complicated for
[6:06]me now because I'm not in a um kind of
[6:10]nomadic state these days. You know, I'm
[6:12]rebuilding my life and um
[6:18]becoming integrated into a community
[6:20]that has treated me so much better than
[6:22]I received at the state parks, that I
[6:25]received at Honeyman. I don't really
[6:26]want to say the state parks cuz it
[6:27]wasn't all of them. It was Honeyman, but
[6:30]then it was, you know, the corporate
[6:33]level of that state agency that
[6:37]made it so much worse. That's where the
[6:38]true betrayal was. It wasn't even being
[6:40]kicked out of that park. It was what
[6:42]they did after that.
[6:44]But, you know, my experience here has
[6:47]been exceptionally better. And they know
[6:49]about everything that happened to me. I
[6:51]never kept any of it a secret. Everybody
[6:53]knows.
[6:55]So, there's no leverage for them to use
[6:57]against me. And um
[7:03]yeah,
[7:07]then I paid some bills. So I had to I
[7:09]had a domain name that was going to be
[7:11]um was due like in 4 days. And if I had
[7:14]couldn't pay that in time, then I would
[7:15]lose a domain. And I actually have lost
[7:17]a couple of my domains this year. So was
[7:19]really worried about that happening.
[7:21]This one is active. I use it as my API.
[7:23]So um my.com rstoryfire.com
[7:28]on the back end talks to this particular
[7:31]domain on the server. Um that would have
[7:35]broken my site if id lost a domain. So I
[7:37]paid that those domain names are getting
[7:40]a little more expensive too. Everything
[7:41]is
[7:43]um I renewed my Upwork membership so I
[7:46]can keep looking for work on there as a
[7:48]freelancer. That's the the most
[7:50]important things that I'm doing right
[7:51]now.
[7:54]So,
[7:56]you know, $200 and it's spent. Um,
[8:00]I've got other things that I need to
[8:02]deal with and I'm doing my best. I've
[8:04]got my internet for one week or it gets
[8:06]shut off. I just got an email today from
[8:08]Starlink saying it was being suspended.
[8:10]Um, that's $150 a month. It's behind
[8:13]$150.
[8:15]My G payments are behind. you're getting
[8:17]a little too far behind to the point
[8:19]where it becomes uncomfortable for me
[8:20]because um can't risk losing it. I my
[8:24]last Jeep I completely owned outranked.
[8:27]This is like my fifth Jeep and I traded
[8:29]that in for this one. So I don't really
[8:31]have it's not a high payment. It's 500 a
[8:33]month and it's probably only for a
[8:35]couple of years.
[8:37]I just I need to get that caught up.
[8:40]But I have enough food, you know, and my
[8:43]life is doing really well. And today
[8:45]helped a lot. Today was was needed for
[8:49]me and
[8:52]I'm grateful.
[8:54]I
[8:56]have always lived my life as someone who
[9:00]um I've been talking about this stuff
[9:02]with AI allowed. I don't have all the
[9:04]words for this yet, but I guess I'll try
[9:05]a little bit here. So
[9:09]I I always have said that I'm a
[9:11]relational being. I am sovereign, but
[9:13]I'm also very relational.
[9:16]All of my interactions in the world with
[9:18]other people
[9:21]are ethical and grounded and alive. I'm
[9:24]I'm not simulating. I'm not
[9:28]um not running a script. I'm not playing
[9:31]an angle. I'm not playing a role. All of
[9:34]that. I'm real with people.
[9:37]And when I see somebody who needs
[9:39]something and I have it to offer, I
[9:42]offer it freely without even being
[9:43]asked. And I've always been this way.
[9:46]Just the other day, I was at another
[9:48]volunteers campground when there was a
[9:50]couple there who was tent camping and
[9:52]they are recently they're new to this
[9:54]situation and I knew that winter was
[9:56]coming and that means the rains are
[9:59]coming back. They're actually supposed
[10:00]to start tonight and they're going to
[10:01]last for a full week. So it's it's
[10:03]coming. It's here and you know it gets a
[10:06]little bit colder especially as the
[10:07]months go on. February is the coldest
[10:09]month here. I remember it from last year
[10:12]and I wanted to make sure that they
[10:15]would be comfortable as they rebuild
[10:17]their lives cuz that's what they're
[10:18]doing. And so I gave them my buddy
[10:20]heater, my propane heater,
[10:23]which technically um is something I need
[10:26]because I can't replace it right now. I
[10:28]don't have the money to do that. If I
[10:30]needed it, I wouldn't have it. And you
[10:32]know, I've already lost things that
[10:33]mattered to me, like my solar system. I
[10:35]had to sell that and I sold it for way
[10:38]less than I should have, but
[10:40]still fairly like I
[10:43]sold that to a friend and um
[10:49]but the way my life is structured, you
[10:51]know, as a volunteer, I have access to
[10:53]electricity and to propane, so I don't
[10:56]have a problem generating heat in my RV
[10:57]as long as I have that. And for now, I
[11:00]do.
[11:01]Um,
[11:05]that's how I've always worked, but most
[11:07]people don't. I asked for help
[11:11]bunch of different ways uh throughout
[11:13]this journey and very very very very few
[11:16]people have helped me.
[11:20]And
[11:24]I I think I'm still metabolizing that to
[11:26]some degree. Um, it's sad for me to see
[11:30]like it's not judgment. I have no
[11:32]judgment about this. It's just sad to me
[11:34]that we've become that disconnected from
[11:36]one another,
[11:38]but we have.
[11:42]I mean, it matters a lot and for a lot
[11:45]of reasons.
[11:51]and it's, you know, affected choices
[11:53]I've made like ending my last channel.
[11:58]Um,
[12:00]there are ripple effects from the way we
[12:01]treat each other and I was feeling like
[12:06]my audience was just consuming me
[12:12]because they were.
[12:14]I'm right
[12:17]about a lot of things most of the time.
[12:21]For some reason, this world has a hard
[12:23]time hearing the truth. But that's not
[12:27]my fault. That's not my problem.
[12:31]I say all of this without judgment. This
[12:33]is what I experience in my inant world.
[12:38]Plenty of people would judge me for the
[12:40]way I live without understanding or even
[12:43]trying to understand why I live this
[12:45]way.
[12:46]They would make assumptions about what
[12:48]it means to live this way that would be
[12:49]wrong. I've experienced so many things
[12:51]like um you know somebody once saying
[12:53]that um I live in a an RV that's got a
[12:57]Mercedes-Benz um it's a sprinter you
[13:00]know this RV that's a MBS um so I must
[13:03]have money you know I must you know and
[13:05]just
[13:07]I just had really good credit when I
[13:09]started this and a plan that didn't
[13:11]fully work out but was still the right
[13:14]choice for me Um
[13:25]just one example. I I see everything.
[13:29]Always have.
[13:36]I'm in a new space in my life. So I
[13:39]think I might write a book actually
[13:42]about my life and my philosophy, how I
[13:44]live. literally how I live as far as
[13:46]like in like as far as my architecture
[13:49]like um what it means to be sovereign.
[13:54]It doesn't mean what most people think
[13:57]it means. That's for sure.
[14:00]Um
[14:02]how to prepare, how to survive
[14:08]the plethora of changes that are coming
[14:11]into our world right now.
[14:14]Even if you don't believe that we'll
[14:16]have a collapse like I do,
[14:20]it's impossible to deny that our world
[14:22]is transforming right now because of AI.
[14:26]And it's impossible to know what this
[14:29]world will look like in 5 years, 10
[14:30]years. It's going to change fast and
[14:32]most people won't be prepared. It's
[14:34]going to disrupt everything.
[14:40]But if you had my architecture, you'd
[14:42]navigate it just as I'm navigating life
[14:45]right now because I'm operating post
[14:47]collapse, post institutional, post
[14:49]fragmentation.
[14:51]I share a lot of this stuff on my
[14:52]website.
[14:55]There's a lot of that I'm transmitting
[14:57]into this world that isn't being
[14:59]received yet, but I don't really expect
[15:00]it to be.
[15:03]I don't think most people have the
[15:05]receivers to even hear it yet, but I
[15:07]think one day they will.
[15:10]That's why I do that, why I do this.
[15:14]That's why it matters so much that there
[15:16]are some people out there who are
[15:18]willing to support me to to any extent
[15:21]because
[15:23]I'm trying to create a life in a world
[15:27]at a time that it hasn't caught up to
[15:31]where I am.
[15:33]So, that support helps a lot.
[15:36]Thank you.
