[0:00]Hi there, my name is Sam. This video is

[0:03]meant to introduce myself to select few

[0:06]people who might be interested in the

[0:08]kind of services I have to offer. Uh,

[0:11]let me start by apologizing for the road

[0:13]noise. I'm right next to the 101 right

[0:14]on the Oregon coast. Can't really do

[0:17]anything about about the road noise. It

[0:19]comes and goes, at least for now.

[0:22]So, about myself, I'm 48 years old. I

[0:25]live in an RV, the one behind me here.

[0:27]lived this way for two years. Like I

[0:29]said, I'm right on the Oregon coast. I

[0:32]volunteer for the United States Forest

[0:33]Service.

[0:35]Um, right now I'm a camp host, but soon

[0:37]I'll become a caretaker. It's a

[0:38]different kind of volunteer where you

[0:41]support the other volunteers, uh, who

[0:43]manage different campgrounds. You just

[0:44]kind of support them with the the

[0:46]supplies they need and you take care of

[0:47]the day use areas.

[0:50]Looking forward to that. I start that in

[0:51]a couple of weeks from now. Probably do

[0:53]it for the next year. Uh, they're

[0:55]usually yearly assignments.

[0:58]um in the Oregon Dunes. So, I'm on the

[1:00]Central Coast. It's very nice up here. I

[1:02]absolutely love it. This is the

[1:04]highlight of my life. Truly is.

[1:07]And um well, I'm looking for work. I'm a

[1:11]programmer. I've been programming since

[1:12]the sixth grade. So, all of my life

[1:14]since MS DOSs. Uh my first language was

[1:17]GW Basic and then Pascal, then C, then

[1:20]C++ and a little bit of C, some Java,

[1:24]some PHP. Well, PHP most of my life.

[1:26]I've been doing that since PHP 3.

[1:28]Consider myself mostly a backend

[1:30]programmer.

[1:31]I can definitely create some frontends

[1:33]that are nice and professional. You can

[1:35]look at my homepage to see that. But I

[1:37]like to work on the back end. I'm not

[1:40]looking for work that's going to consume

[1:41]my life. I've done that. And it's not

[1:45]it's not something that feels aligned

[1:47]with my life anymore. I'm looking for a

[1:49]client who needs help, who needs

[1:51]somebody who is very intelligent, who

[1:54]has a systems thinking brain, who sees

[1:58]patterns, who's very good at building

[2:00]systems,

[2:01]um sees a lot of things that other

[2:04]people don't,

[2:06]detail oriented in that way.

[2:09]um

[2:11]working with data, um networking, you

[2:14]know, uh building servers, just all

[2:17]kinds of different things, including the

[2:19]programming. Um artificial intelligence,

[2:21]I've been doing that for a couple of

[2:22]years.

[2:24]There's a lot that I'm capable of. I

[2:27]tend to think that I'm capable of

[2:28]anything if I just put my mind to it.

[2:30]And if the project feels aligned, then

[2:32]my mind will definitely be be tuned to

[2:34]it. So, I'm just going to leave it at
