[0:00]I just spotted some seals out here.
[0:02]Squirrels of the ocean, I decided that's
[0:04]what they are. They're so cool. I love
[0:07]seals.
[0:09]Oh, they're out here somewhere. One
[0:11]right there. Oh my god. Can I zoom in on
[0:13]this thing over there?
[0:16]Come here. Oh my god. I love seals.
[0:20]It's very hard to tell. I don't know.
[0:25]It's a seal out there.
[0:28]It's doing its thing.
[0:30]out in the big [ __ ] ocean. Man,
[0:35]this is a nice day. I've been out for
[0:37]miles. I don't even The sun hasn't been
[0:39]out as you can see. It's a little bit
[0:41]cold, but hope that sun comes out. Other
[0:44]than that, this [ __ ] brilliant day.
[0:46]This is where all the dunes are. Oh, let
[0:48]me zoom out on this. This is where all
[0:51]the um you know, the dune buggies, ATVs,
[0:55]sand rails, quads, motorbikes. They are
[0:59]right here.
[1:03]Breathing.
[1:05]Hello birding.
[1:11]I just been listening to my music,
[1:15]tracing the waves, having a really good
[1:18]time.
[1:20]This does something for my soul.
[1:25]I love the ocean.
[1:30]I think it must be low tide. Like the
[1:32]ocean feels a little different to me. I
[1:34]never look at that. Like I never check
[1:35]it or anything. Wondering if I should
[1:38]turn around. I don't know. I'm like
[1:39]really far out. I've gone past two roads
[1:41]already. Two of those doom roads over
[1:43]there.
[1:48]I can go all the way to the south jetty,
[1:50]past Honeyman, all the way right to the
[1:52]edge of Florence. I guess I'm turning
[1:54]around. I got miles to go.
[1:56]um you know and was out there one time
[2:01]someone took me out there on their sand.
[2:03]It was fine. I've been wanting a
[2:05]motorbike ever since.
[2:08]And now officially I'll be here for the
[2:10]summers different places and they might
[2:13]not be campgrounds with ATV access. So
[2:15]if I do get a motorbike, I want it to be
[2:17]street legal, too. And then like that's
[2:20]a part of life right there. And then for
[2:23]like 6 months, you know, I'll do the
[2:25]volunteering at a campground in the
[2:26]dunes, 40 miles of host.
[2:29]And then for the rest of the time, I'll
[2:32]explore this coast. I've only made it up
[2:34]to Newport.
[2:36]When I do, I want to see Washington.
[2:39]Doesn't have the same feeling to me as
[2:41]Oregon does, but that might change when
[2:44]I go see it. You know, I saw on a map
[2:47]yesterday. house.
[2:49]So, I recently got on Facebook dating,
[2:52]but I'll just acknowledge this now.
[2:55]I don't know. Kind of impulsive. I've
[2:57]been checking my Facebook lately and
[3:01]you know, it's right there at the top.
[3:03]It's one of the things they're trying to
[3:04]get you to use. It's always got
[3:06]notifications. I never use the thing.
[3:08]So, how's that possible? It's just a
[3:10]marketing scheme, you know. Now, you
[3:12]resist it. Blah blah. And then one day
[3:14]you're just like, "Okay, let's try it.
[3:19]I am really surprised how many people
[3:21]are clicking on me. I'll tell you
[3:22]something. All the way from
[3:26]25 to 70 year old men.
[3:32]It's like
[3:34]didn't really expect that. So,
[3:38]um lots of different kinds of men, too.
[3:41]And I'm like, "Wow." like maybe I don't
[3:44]even notice all the people notice me.
[3:48]So anyways, I was talking I bring this
[3:50]up because I was talking to someone who
[3:52]lives up in Canada in Vancouver, Canada
[3:56]and a lot of people live in Vancouver,
[3:59]Washington. So I got it confused. I was
[4:02]looking up on the map. I got to, you
[4:05]know, I'm trying to get away from the
[4:06]ocean here. It's trying to soak me. Um,
[4:09]so I'm trying to, you know, I'm looking
[4:10]up on the map and I notice like this
[4:12]giant gouge of water.
[4:15]I guess not
[4:18]Columbia River. It's more north of that.
[4:21]And it's [ __ ] enormous. And I have to
[4:24]go see that. So,
[4:27]I don't even know what it's called. I
[4:29]don't know if it's a river, what the
[4:30][ __ ] it is, but it's right where
[4:31]Vancouver is. I think it's part of the
[4:33]ocean. I don't know. So, I want to go
[4:36]see that. There's too many people over
[4:38]there. I don't probably got to turn
[4:40]around again. Just want to chill, man.
[4:44]Hello, ocean.
[4:50]So, yeah,
[4:52]maybe I go see Washington and I go up
[4:54]into Canada.
[4:57]They don't have a 101, right? Could be
[5:00]some other name.
[5:04]Wonder how I really feel about this. I
[5:06]don't actually know.
[5:10]I don't know.
[5:12]Born country like just exploring during
[5:15]this era of life. I don't know.
[5:19]Guess we'll walk this way a ways and
[5:21]I'll turn around.
[5:24]Wonder if I can show the ocean a little
[5:26]more. Oh, look at that. I'll get better
[5:29]at this, guys.
[5:31]Look at that. See the ocean? It's going
[5:34]to hold this up. look like an idiot if
[5:36]anyone sees me. Let's turn around cuz
[5:38]there's people around. Okay, we're just
[5:40]going to go this way. Okay,
[5:44]super gray day. No rain or anything.
[5:50]Think I look pretty good today. I just
[5:52]showered after doing all that work today
[5:55]and left in the ocean.
[5:58]This whole lot happened out of
[5:59]campgrounds. Um,
[6:02]so like
[6:04]unsure what to talk about, what not to.
[6:06]So crazy.
[6:09]Basically, none of it. I can't talk
[6:10]about any of it. I can do all these
[6:11]different things.
[6:15]Oh, so one other thing I did today is I
[6:17]updated the descriptions on my YouTube
[6:19]videos for the first like couple hundred
[6:21]of them. Um, latest ones.
[6:25]Please go look at that.
[6:28]Um, format I'm going to use mobile.
[6:33]Oh, here comes the ocean. We got
[6:38]Oh, the sink.
[6:41]So nice out.
[6:46]Well, I could go sit down. I just I
[6:48]don't know.
[6:52]All right, let's go sit down. Let's find
[6:54]an appropriate piece of wood to sit next
[6:57]to.
[6:59]There's something very grounding about
[7:00]this.
[7:03]Oh, hope I don't get run over, man.
[7:07]On the beach.
[7:11]Looks like we're okay.
[7:15]You know that was a joke, right?
[7:19]My humor's not always obvious.
[7:24]We're leaving the ocean,
[7:26]man. You got to hold your phone up real
[7:28][ __ ] high to do that.
[7:32]It's a lot of work.
[7:34]I can understand this.
[7:36]Look at the ocean back there. It's
[7:38]amazing. There's the sun. Oh, wow.
[7:42]That's a great picture right there.
[7:44]All right. Where are we going to sit
[7:46]here? I'll show you. Got a lot of
[7:47]choices.
[7:49]Want to be looking at the ocean. really
[7:52]well.
[7:54]I don't like any of these ones.
[7:57]Oh, maybe that one down there. The one
[7:59]that looks like it's rusted out or
[8:00]something.
[8:06]Got to inspect everything on the ocean.
[8:08]How do you think that happened? I think
[8:10]a dog did that.
[8:12]Gross.
[8:16]Let's just get over here.
[8:21]Maybe we'll see some ATVs.
[8:24]Need me a motor bike.
[8:28]Dirt bike.
[8:31]Dual purpose dirt bike.
[8:40]I don't know what I'm saying. I'm
[8:42]Whatever.
[8:45]Why that was not on the ground?
[8:51]Man, got to keep looking. It's got to be
[8:54]the right piece of wood.
[8:56]I don't know about this over here. I
[8:59]don't know.
[9:01]Maybe. I guess.
[9:09]So, one thing I've been noticing is kids
[9:12]on the on the beach make forts right at
[9:16]the entrances and then other kids use
[9:19]those forts and then they expand them
[9:21]and these [ __ ] things grow. Like
[9:24]there's like three or four of them over
[9:25]there. That is so wild to me. It's
[9:28]really cool. So yeah, this one will
[9:30]work. Let's sit in the sand.
[9:34]Getting old guys getting real old.
[9:40]No, we don't want to get old.
[9:45]I'm just going to sit here for a while.
[9:48]I'll let you see the ocean for a bit and
[9:50]then I'm going to turn this off.
[10:19]Very green.
[10:28]I'm back at the entrance. I could show
[10:29]you these little forts the kids made.
[10:32]This one's new. I remember this one.
[10:37]It's pretty neat though cuz you get
[10:38]really thick up some stuff cuz all that
[10:40]I see there are sticks but they turn
[10:42]that into a home bunch over here.
[10:47]Can see how elaborate that one is.
[10:53]I like that one. That one feels like a
[10:56]like a hangout place.
[10:59]That one's pretty awesome.
[11:01]This one here. This one's stealth.
[11:07]These people plan to take over the
[11:09]beach.
[11:12]Getting ready to storm.
[11:17]We got a little teepee over there.
[11:22]I'm telling you.
[11:25]Now, see, they even got like a place to
[11:29]put stuff. I mean, it's like look how
[11:31]elaborate that is.
[11:39]Just makes me think of video games.
[11:42]I don't know, building houses in Skyrim
[11:44]or
[11:46]that one Nintendo game. My mom still
[11:49]plays this game. I played with her for a
[11:51]while. Can't remember what it was
[11:53]called.
[11:57]real popular game with these furry
[11:59]animals in it.
[12:02]Animal Crossing. I think it's not right.
[12:08]Little fort on the beach. Many
[12:13]so men back
[12:20]weekends.
[12:25]I make the best of it. Hope you do, too.
