[0:00]So, it's noon here. Hopefully, we got a
[0:03]quiet moment. Buddy's out. He's been
[0:05]barking at people for some reason. It's
[0:08]been pretty busy day already. So, I did
[0:12]my laundry.
[0:15]Did some suntanning on the roof today.
[0:17]That was nice. It's a real nice day.
[0:21]Cleaned the fire pits. Did all my
[0:24]paperwork.
[0:27]Got gravel twice from the work center we
[0:30]have. I went and got gravel there. Big
[0:32]pile of gravel and I got two buckets
[0:34]full and two more
[0:37]just to make my fire pit a little more
[0:39]level on one side. It's really nice.
[0:42]Love that spot.
[0:46]And I talked to my boss. So
[0:52]from I'm going to volunteer
[0:55]here in the dunes for just the
[0:58]summertime.
[1:00]Just longer than summer though. So it's
[1:02]like I think it was May through
[1:04]September. So October through like March
[1:08]I'm going to explore the 101 in Oregon
[1:10]and Washington. This is the plan I'm
[1:12]making.
[1:13]And then the rest of the time I'll be
[1:15]here in the dunes at different
[1:16]campgrounds.
[1:21]But here for now, I'm not sure when I'll
[1:23]leave here. So, it's two months from now
[1:24]before the summer's over.
[1:30]Hopefully, I'm ready by then. I think I
[1:31]could be. So, I'm going to try to be.
[1:35]Hopefully get this RV situation dealt
[1:37]with somehow
[1:41]and convert into some kind of a trailer.
[1:43]I can tow with my Jeep. Even if it's,
[1:45]you know, it has to be under 2,000 lbs.
[1:47]So, something small,
[1:49]even if it doesn't have a shower
[1:52]or a kitchen or I don't even know. It's
[1:56]just something.
[2:02]I guess I really need to think that
[2:03]through, don't I? I got to decide. I got
[2:06]to be solid about it. There is one that
[2:08]I saw a couple weeks ago.
[2:11]Don't remember the name of it. That was
[2:12]a Forest River and it was um
[2:16]the weight limit was real low. It was
[2:19]kind of like a little toy hauler, too,
[2:20]which is kind of neat. Put a quad in
[2:22]there, you know, dirt bike.
[2:27]I'll look that up. I really like that
[2:29]one. But I think it was over 2,000 lbs
[2:30]at the time. I was thinking I had a
[2:32]limit of 3500. So,
[2:38]going to going to figure it out and keep
[2:40]moving forward. Hope everyone has a good
[2:42]weekends. When you record in portrait
[2:45]mode, if your video is under three
[2:47]minutes, YouTube automatically forces
[2:49]you to post it as a short. So, I'm just
[2:51]going to show you my campfire cuz I was
[2:53]only 17 seconds short. This is my fire
[2:57]pit
[2:59]I had to grab on this side.
[3:05]I got a picnic table over here and a
[3:07]place to cut wood.
[3:10]But any expert at that of course
[3:13]few times
[3:15]I did I did custom that was pretty cool
[3:18]honestly should do that more often but I
[3:21]have to go collect those big logs
[3:23]they're in different campgrounds they're
[3:24]not in ours so I'd have to to go and get
[3:28]really heavy too so yeah
[3:33]it's a good day it is
[3:42]just trusting my life's going to work
[3:43]out.
Summary
rswfire describes completing daily maintenance tasks including laundry, suntanning, cleaning fire pits, and paperwork. He collected gravel from a work center to level his fire pit area. He spoke with his boss about volunteering in the dunes from May through September, with plans to explore Oregon and Washington's Highway 101 from October through March. He discusses needing to resolve his RV situation by converting to a smaller trailer under 2,000 lbs that his Jeep can tow, mentioning a Forest River toy hauler he previously considered. The transmission ends with him showing his campfire setup and fire pit area, noting the challenge of collecting heavy logs from other campgrounds.
