[0:00]So, I'm next to the ocean.
[0:04]It's a wonderful day.
[0:07]I got Buddy with me walking him.
[0:09]Technically, he's walking me. This dog
[0:12]will not go at my pace
[0:16]no matter how much bleeding I do.
[0:19]I don't think he realizes
[0:22]or he does and he's just
[0:25]very stubborn.
[0:31]I was thinking I have never
[0:36]gone over this ocean.
[0:39]That's like the size of a continent, you
[0:41]know. I've never actually really
[0:43]experienced that. Not even on a boat. I
[0:46]got to do these things.
[0:49]I told John that if I if everything
[0:51]works out and I'm taking him to Hawaii
[0:54]by boats.
[0:56]He always liked boats. He used to I
[0:59]think I don't know if he ever lived on
[1:00]boats.
[1:02]He was a big boat person.
[1:10]Would you like to see the ocean?
[1:20]Hold on, buddy. Let's take a moment.
[1:35]There's Buddy. He's not my dog, so I
[1:38]don't take him off the leash, even on
[1:40]the beach. So, I don't know what I would
[1:42]do if he just ran off.
[1:46]He actually did that once
[1:48]or out in the woods.
[1:52]Went after a squirrel or something.
[1:57]It is a beautiful day.
[2:03]Really need to come here more often.
[2:06]It's definitely more busy since, you
[2:08]know, in the summer. A lot more people
[2:10]here.
[2:13]Kind of strange. For a while,
[2:16]I really just wanted to meet everybody,
[2:19]but now I've gone back to the part of
[2:21]myself that is more closed off ever
[2:25]since honeyman.
[2:29]I don't know why
[2:32]I have asked myself this many times now.
[2:36]I don't want to feel like they want
[2:38]anything from me.
[2:40]So for this to be the result,
[2:43]that is a cruel fate.
[2:48]I resist it.
[2:51]But ever since then, just felt more
[2:54]closed off.
[2:59]We got some motorbikes up here. I really
[3:02]want to get one. Never been on a
[3:05]motorbike.
[3:08]So, you know, I do ask people about
[3:10]them,
[3:11]like could I even do this at my age, you
[3:14]know, like out on the dunes and stuff. I
[3:16]would want to get one though that could
[3:17]also be on the highway
[3:20]so I can take on the 101.
[3:23]Fortunately, I wanted a quad, but I
[3:24]wouldn't be able to tow that if I was
[3:26]triple towing. So, sort of thinking
[3:29]about a motor bike cuz I could attach
[3:30]that to the front of my Jeep or even
[3:32]just drive it into the RV.
[3:37]I think that would be so much fun.
[3:44]It's cloudy gray day here.
[3:47]Clear skies otherwise. No rain or
[3:49]anything. No fog.
[3:54]The sun pretty much hidden today.
[3:59]Nice blues and grays.
[4:02]It's the whole vibe.
[4:07]So yeah, I would love to get one of
[4:08]these motorbikes. I wish
[4:11]wish some hot man will offer to take me
[4:13]for a ride on them. That'd be even more
[4:15]fun.
[4:17]Maybe not more fun. Equally fun. I'm not
[4:20]Yeah, we're going with equally.
[4:24]So I am at the part where the ATVs are
[4:26]allowed to drive. Only Buddy hates Buddy
[4:29]hates motorbikes. He always parks at
[4:31]them. Forgot about this. and only
[4:34]motorbikes. He doesn't do it to quads.
[4:36]It's so weird. It's okay, buddy. Let's
[4:40]just come over here. Come on.
[4:43]I completely forgot about this.
[4:47]Come on. Come on, buddy. Come see the
[4:50]ocean.
[4:52]He really hates going.
[4:58]We live on an ATV campground, right?
[5:00]It's just like a whole thing.
[5:03]Yeah.
[5:04]So this start my afternoon.
Summary
rswfire walks Buddy (not his dog) along the ocean on a cloudy day. He reflects on never having crossed the ocean and mentions plans to take John to Hawaii by boat if things work out. He observes the summer crowds and notes feeling more closed off since 'honeyman.' He expresses interest in getting a motorbike for highway and dune use, considering how it would fit with his RV setup. Buddy barks at motorbikes but not quads, which rswfire had forgotten about. They are at an ATV-allowed section of beach near where rswfire lives on an ATV campground.
