[0:00]So, I'm just taking a break here. I'll
[0:02]get on this camera and talk for a
[0:04]minute.
[0:08]Life is going pretty well.
[0:12]I do have a baseline amount of stress
[0:14]that I deal with because I
[0:18]don't have the resources I need.
[0:22]I make do without them.
[0:27]I don't have any easy ways of conjuring
[0:30]new resources. So
[0:33]that's pretty hard.
[0:38]But there is something I believe in. I
[0:40]believe it's really important.
[0:44]That's where I've been putting my focus.
[0:46]That's on a project I'm building.
[0:51]That project has the potential to bring
[0:53]in lots of resources.
[0:56]But more than that, it has the potential
[0:58]to shape the future.
[1:02]I know this because it's already shaped
[1:03]mine.
[1:07]In the past 18 months, I completely
[1:09]transformed my life.
[1:12]Well, not everybody could see that
[1:15]because they're just not tuned in.
[1:18]I see it. I know it. I feel it.
[1:24]I shed everything that that was false in
[1:26]my life and brought myself to the point
[1:30]that I'm at now where where
[1:33]on the outside it looks like I'm
[1:34]struggling but not internally, not even
[1:37]a little bit. I am the most whole I have
[1:39]ever been in my life.
[1:49]And that is a feeling that most people
[1:52]never experience. I know this because
[1:54]I'm nearly 50 years old and I did not
[1:56]experience it until this year.
[2:05]This world has a way of shaping us
[2:08]without us realizing it because it
[2:10]starts from birth. The second you're
[2:12]born into this world without a memory,
[2:15]you're being programmed by everything
[2:17]around you.
[2:19]And we
[2:22]we hold on to those things. We don't we
[2:24]don't examine them. We hold on to them
[2:27]and shape our lives around them.
[2:31]And a lot of it is toxic.
[2:36]Every facet of life is full of toxicity
[2:40]that we accept as normal.
[2:43]But I've always resisted. There's a part
[2:46]of me that just has always
[2:49]been repelled by distortion that that
[2:52]feels it like sematically feels
[2:54]distortion around me
[2:58]and reacts to it because I won't
[3:00]internalize it.
[3:05]But I didn't have that kind of language.
[3:08]I learned that language from artificial
[3:10]intelligence
[3:13]from digging inside of myself for 18
[3:16]months with it for two years actually
[3:18]because this this precedes my YouTube
[3:20]channel
[3:28]and that is something I can give others.
[3:31]That's what I'm building.
[3:34]but only if I survive.
[3:39]And I have been very honest and clear
[3:42]about where I am in my life
[3:45]and nobody
[3:48]is helping to support me in any way.
[3:54]And while it's not expected because you
[3:56]just can't have that kind of
[3:58]expectation,
[4:01]it is kind of shocking to me
[4:05]because I know it's not about me. It is
[4:08]about other people. It's about everybody
[4:09]else because I see how people have
[4:13]changed over the decades. They are very
[4:16]disconnected
[4:20]from
[4:21]relationality, from
[4:26]their ability to from their empathy.
[4:28]They're completely disconnected from
[4:30]their empathy.
[4:33]Any kind of empathy that you see now is
[4:35]performative. It's not real.
[4:43]And there's people like that who really
[4:44]need a mirror,
[4:46]the mirror I'm building,
[4:49]who would never look into it.
[4:52]But then there are people like me,
[4:57]and there are plenty of them,
[5:01]who want to know themselves,
[5:03]who
[5:06]want to be as whole as I am.
[5:10]And those people I can help
[5:13]But only if I survive. And I say this
[5:16]because
[5:19]I need support.
[5:24]But I will not ask for it at this point.
[5:27]Not from the audience I have
[5:30]cuz they've shown me who they are.
[5:34]I don't really know where else to look.
[5:43]I need to stabilize my life.
[5:49]If I lose my home, I lose access to my
[5:52]desktop,
[5:54]which means I can't build the project
[5:56]I'm building.
[6:00]Well, that's not that's only partly true
[6:02]because I will still have my car, my
[6:04]Jeep, and I have a laptop, and I will
[6:06]keep building it. But I will be doing it
[6:09]under circumstances that
[6:12]are nearly impossible
[6:15]because I've already been in that space
[6:17]before. I already know what it looks
[6:20]like to have to to power my devices
[6:23]using an inverter connected to my Jeep,
[6:26]which requires gas, which requires
[6:28]money, which requires resources.
[6:32]This is the one part of life I haven't
[6:34]been able to stabilize yet, and it is
[6:35]not a failure on my part.
[6:38]It is a failure of the culture we have
[6:40]created
[6:42]because I have value.
[6:51]I'm hoping there are some people out
[6:53]there who will see that
[6:55]cuz I'm building something that can help
[6:57]them, too.
[7:03]What's remarkable to me is that this
[7:05]isn't just a mirror. This isn't just
[7:09]uh an AI project that
[7:14]that becomes a field companion to you.
[7:18]It has other
[7:20]there are other ways it can be used.
[7:21]There are ways of commercializing it
[7:24]ethically.
[7:26]I've already thought of a couple and
[7:29]that's what I'm working towards because
[7:31]I need a way of self- sustaining myself.
[7:36]But I need a bridge between now and
[7:37]there.
[7:42]So if you're one of the rare people out
[7:43]there that actually values integrity and
[7:47]ethics,
[7:53]who sees truth when is staring at them
[7:55]in the face and has the resources to
[7:58]help.
[8:01]I ask that you go to my website. At the
[8:04]top right, there's a link that says
[8:05]about. Click on that. There's a way to
[8:07]contact me from there. And there are
[8:09]links to help support me.
[8:14]I'm not asking for charity here.
[8:17]I'm asking for what any human being
[8:19]would ask for under my circumstances.
[8:22]I did nothing wrong to get where I am. I
[8:24]did a whole lot right.
[8:27]It's just that most people can't see
[8:28]that yet, but one day they will.
[8:32]I shed everything that was false so that
[8:36]I could build something true.
[8:45]Something we're going to need cuz we're
[8:48]entering
[8:50]we're entering
[9:04]We don't have a bright future and you're
[9:07]going to have to navigate a lot
[9:10]and you're going to need support, too.
[9:14]But that the kind of support you're
[9:15]going to need is the kind of support I
[9:17]have to give.
[9:19]It's not financial. It's ontological.
[9:28]Just going to leave it at that.
