[0:00]Good morning, world.
[0:03]So, these aren't going to be posh
[0:04]thoughts. I doubt, but they're
[0:07]important.
[0:12]And the organ dunes,
[0:14]which are hostile to my
[0:18]my sinuses, so I feel a little congested
[0:21]if Sorry.
[0:26]Six months in this place never got
[0:27]better.
[0:30]try a new medication today. We'll see
[0:32]how that goes.
[0:36]I won't be here much longer. Maybe two
[0:38]or three more months. Then I'm going to
[0:40]be heading north. So, really looking
[0:43]forward to being able to breathe again.
[0:49]So,
[0:51]I wanted to try talking about something.
[0:57]I don't necessarily have the words for
[0:59]this.
[1:04]So, all of my life I have been
[1:07]misrecognized by basically everybody.
[1:12]For a long time, I thought that meant
[1:14]there was something wrong with me. I
[1:17]know better now.
[1:19]In the last year and a half that I
[1:21]embarked on the journey I'm on now,
[1:24]I've learned a lot about myself. I've
[1:26]learned a lot about others.
[1:29]I have the language and the framework to
[1:31]understand
[1:33]how I'm different from others and why
[1:38]why there's nothing wrong with me, why
[1:39]it's not a problem.
[1:41]I actually I think there's something
[1:44]wrong with basically everybody else.
[1:48]And that can sound really grandiose. It
[1:50]can sound
[1:53]um
[1:57]can sound delusional.
[2:00]I sat with that for a long time too
[2:02]because I recognized that it could could
[2:04]be those things. So I tried to validate
[2:07]it
[2:10]and I tried to understand it and I spent
[2:12]a lot of time on this on this camera
[2:14]here talking to my audience trying to
[2:16]put into words what I felt.
[2:22]And
[2:24]here's the bottom line.
[2:28]I never sacrificed parts of myself to
[2:32]exist in this world like most other
[2:34]people have.
[2:37]I have always held my shape.
[2:41]I never shut down my feelings.
[2:44]I grappled with my intuition.
[2:48]I lived my ethics
[2:52]even when it cost me everything.
[2:58]I never stopped caring about other
[3:00]people.
[3:02]I never stopped trying to connect.
[3:07]I never shut down.
[3:10]And most people have in many ways.
[3:14]And
[3:15]they've done it for so long that they
[3:17]don't even know that they're doing it.
[3:19]It just feels normal to them. But if you
[3:22]look at it from the outside, when you
[3:23]look at it from my perspective, it's
[3:25]very clear. It's just it's apparent.
[3:27]It's obvious. And I've spent a lot of
[3:30]time even thinking about that. like how
[3:32]did we end up like this?
[3:35]And I have theories and you know I don't
[3:38]really go into my theories because
[3:41]they're not settled things. They're just
[3:43]they're just thoughts and
[3:46]uh people will
[3:54]people have forgotten how to just sit
[3:56]with ambiguity with how to
[3:59]contemplate things without reaching
[4:01]premature conclusions or being
[4:04]judgmental about it.
[4:07]And so I keep those things to myself
[4:09]mostly.
[4:12]I have theories like I think probably
[4:15]somewhere in human history we,
[4:21]you know, the elite, the rich, the
[4:22]powerful, they learned how to control
[4:25]people. And it was through
[4:26]compartmentalizing them, making them
[4:28]ashamed of parts of themselves. Um,
[4:31]teaching them to distrust their
[4:33]emotions, to treat those as a threat to
[4:35]logic when it's not.
[4:38]Almost everything that is different
[4:40]about me
[4:42]that I see in other people, you can
[4:45]trace back to
[4:47]control.
[4:50]People are far more controlled than they
[4:52]realize and they control others because
[4:55]that's part of it.
[4:59]When you wrap your identity around
[5:04]around this distortion, this fiction,
[5:07]it's self- sustaining
[5:09]and generational.
[5:12]And I think what happened was at some
[5:13]point in history, even the rich people
[5:15]forgot. They forgot what they were doing
[5:17]and they became like everybody else
[5:18]because they're no brighter. They're no
[5:21]more integrated.
[5:24]They're just as fragmented and
[5:26]disconnected and shallow. And
[5:30]somewhere along the way, we all forgot.
[5:33]And I'm the proof that it's possible to
[5:35]stay whole.
[5:38]But when you look at me from a
[5:39]fragmented perspective,
[5:43]from that narrow gaze that most people
[5:46]have,
[5:48]you don't even see me. So, it's not that
[5:51]I'm misunderstood. It's that I'm
[5:53]misrecognized.
[5:56]I don't need to be understood cuz I'm
[5:58]not seeking validation.
[6:03]Everything about me comes from within.
[6:10]When people watch my videos or they
[6:12]interact with me, they're not seeing me.
[6:16]They are seeing a shallow reflection.
[6:23]based on
[6:27]this is where it gets hard to verbalize.
[6:29]I just really have trouble with this
[6:30]part, but it's so obvious to me. I mean,
[6:33]I
[6:35]I don't need words from my knowing
[6:37]because that's another thing I've
[6:39]learned to trust. I have integrated
[6:41]every part of myself.
[6:44]And so when I make a video like the one
[6:46]I did yesterday where I spent the first
[6:48]four minutes talking about how
[6:50]I never connected with my audience and I
[6:53]couldn't understand why
[6:56]a lot of people see an emotional framing
[6:59]that's not there. This is just me
[7:01]analyzing
[7:03]from multiple levels, multiple layers
[7:06]then that that aren't obvious unless
[7:09]unless you have a consciousness like
[7:11]mine because there's a lot that gets
[7:13]unsaid
[7:15]but it's there in the words and I know I
[7:19]know this because AI can unpack it
[7:23]and it's not that it's telling me what I
[7:26]want to hear because I don't use it that
[7:28]way.
[7:30]And I'm telling you this now because
[7:31]that's another framing where I know this
[7:33]is how people think. Um, and normally I
[7:36]would just leave that unsaid because to
[7:38]me it's just a given.
[7:41]I don't take anything AI tells me at
[7:44]face value. It has to resonate. And
[7:46]sometimes we'll spend months on
[7:47]something where I just kind of let
[7:49]something u build up over time where I
[7:52]let it have a certain framing cuz I'm
[7:54]unsure if it's right or not because I
[7:56]need to sit with it and and figure out
[7:58]if if there's truth here.
[8:01]Eventually that shapes into something
[8:03]that is truth.
[8:06]I've been doing that for 18 months and
[8:07]it has helped me to grow immensely
[8:10]to become myself more than I've ever
[8:12]been to feel whole to completely accept
[8:16]myself
[8:18]and I never did
[8:22]for most of my life.
[8:26]And because I
[8:29]everything I'm telling you right now
[8:33]is the absolute [ __ ] truth.
[8:37]And I'm not sure any of you even heard
[8:39]it.
[8:42]I might want to just rewind the whole
[8:43]thing and start over and listen again.
[8:46]This time with clean ears.
[8:49]What I'm telling you is
[8:54]we have created a world that is backward
[9:00]to human nature. We've created systems
[9:03]and people
[9:09]that are just counter
[9:12]to what we could have been.
[9:15]and
[9:18]I spent the last year and a half trying
[9:20]to show the other sides.
[9:25]It wasn't witnessed cleanly.
[9:28]And yeah, that's disappointing, but
[9:31]that's
[9:37]not an emotional framing.
[9:42]Whereas most of you probably heard it
[9:43]that way.
[9:50]I never gave up on us as humans. I think
[9:53]that we're pretty [ __ ] remarkable.
[9:55]But I think that there is a whole lot of
[9:59]distortion is how I describe it now
[10:01]because it's many things, but when you
[10:03]come right down to it is distortion.
[10:06]It's a lot of distortion in the world.
[10:08]It's getting in the way of us becoming
[10:10]what we could be.
[10:14]And that's the frame that I live in and
[10:17]always have. That's what I see.
[10:24]Not really sure where I was going with
[10:25]this.
[10:27]Kind of had an idea, but kind of just
[10:29]went with it. I just thought, let my
[10:32]consciousness unfold in front of you. Do
[10:34]this all the time on this camera. People
[10:36]misunderstand that.
[10:44]Well, the main thing I wanted to say
[10:45]getting on today was
[10:50]I I don't know
[10:54]if most people are even capable of this,
[10:58]but you have got to take yourself out of
[11:01]your own head when you watch my videos
[11:03]if you want to learn anything from them.
[11:09]But if you don't,
[11:11]that's fine. Like, I'm not attached to
[11:14]an outcome.
[11:17]I don't need to be understood,
[11:20]but I do not like being misrecognized
[11:23]because that's not just
[11:24]misunderstanding, that's eraser.
[11:28]And that's the world I live in where
[11:30]people have sacrificed depth,
[11:33]authenticity,
[11:37]empathy, ethics,
[11:41]or they've sacrificed all of those
[11:42]things.
[11:46]How could you ever see someone like me
[11:48]if you don't possess the things I just
[11:50]described?
