[0:00]So, it's starting to rain. I just had a
[0:03]thought. I can bring my awning out
[0:04]because even if the power goes out, the
[0:06]battery is dying. Once I once I um turn
[0:10]the RV on from the starter battery,
[0:12]assuming that's not getting depleted,
[0:14]too. Um and if it is, then I'll just
[0:17]jump start it from my Jeep. Then, you
[0:20]know, I can bring the awning in then.
[0:21]So, let's get this awning out. Let's put
[0:25]my chairs back in. Well, we could still
[0:26]hang out there.
[0:29]All
[0:31]right. I would show this to you, but
[0:34]there's no view. I don't even have a
[0:36]view. I can't see anything. Is it coming
[0:38]out? I don't hear
[0:40]anything. Oh, I'm pressing retract. My
[0:43]bad.
[0:45]Extend. Here we go. I am amazed these
[0:48]batteries are still on. I'm fairly
[0:50]confident it's probably draining my
[0:51]starter battery because it just doesn't
[0:53]make sense that it's still on. It says
[0:55]11.73 volts.
[0:57]So, there's quite low, very low. They're
[1:01]not going to last much
[1:03]longer. You can see the arm. Once the
[1:06]arm reaches a certain spot, I'll know
[1:08]that it's
[1:11]extended. So, let's just bring this out.
[1:15]There we
[1:16]go. Okay, we've got an
[1:18]awning. Can protect our space a little
[1:21]bit
[1:22]better. I'm going try to bring this
[1:26]down. This can come down like that. You
[1:28]can do the other side, too. But this arm
[1:30]sticks. I think I just need um some
[1:33]WD40. This won't It's supposed to see.
[1:35]There we go. It's actually doing a
[1:38]little better than it has in the past.
[1:39]That actually even looks aligned. That's
[1:42]the
[1:42]first.
[1:45]Yay. Now I can get my chair out of the
[1:48]rain.
[1:55]I have a proper
[1:57]space. I have my tent structure. I was
[1:59]thinking I could put it out there. It's
[2:01]just it's a lot of work and if I'm only
[2:03]here for a couple of days, I don't want
[2:04]to go through the effort. I want to
[2:05]start doing stuff like that when I know
[2:07]I'm going to be somewhere for two weeks
[2:09]at a time or maybe even just one week at
[2:12]a time. But, you know, if I have to move
[2:14]sights
[2:16]or just don't want to do it too soon.
[2:20]Got my inverter protected by that tarp,
[2:22]but oh, thinking maybe I want to put a
[2:24]second one in the
[2:27]sides just to be
[2:29]safe. Yeah, we're doing
[2:33]that. Got a cheap blue one in
[2:36]here.
[2:39]Yep. Might even need to
[2:44]um
[2:45]Well, you know what? I got an idea. Let
[2:48]me just get this on here. I'm doing this
[2:52]onehanded. I just think this is safe.
[2:55]Don't ask me. I'm pretty sure it's safe,
[2:57]though. Let's grab my grandma's
[3:00]pig. This is usually the first thing I
[3:02]bring up. My grandma gave um I got this
[3:05]from my grandma after she passed away.
[3:07]She didn't give it to me. Actually,
[3:09]somehow I ended up with it, but there's
[3:11]a story behind
[3:12]it. Maybe I'll share one
[3:15]day that would keep everything secure
[3:17]there.
[3:20]just put this stuff in the
[3:25]Jeep. It is doing okay. It's been on for
[3:28]a while. I've, you know, lost a couple
[3:30]miles on my range, but it's doing okay.
[3:33]I
[3:34]think I might have been right. Like
[3:36]every
[3:38]um 3 hours it uses a gallon of gas. I
[3:41]think I have like a 10 gallon tank. I'm
[3:43]not actually sure on that. I'm going to
[3:45]shut this now, but it's going to honk. I
[3:46]hate that.
[3:50]cuz my my
[3:52]um my keys aren't in there. The key
[3:54]thing. I don't know what that's called,
[3:56]but it it detects that. It took me
[3:58]forever to figure out how it knew. I was
[3:59]like, does it have a pressure sensor?
[4:01]Does it know that I'm not sitting down?
[4:03]But no, it's because of my keys. Let me
[4:06]figure that
[4:08]out. I'm drinking my offrid coffee
[4:11]here that I literally made with my
[4:13]inverter out here. So cool.
[4:17]Yeah, it's
[4:19]raining. We're
[4:21]good. That seat's wet, but I got my
[4:24]other one. My friend John gave me
[4:26]those
[4:27]seats, chairs,
[4:33]whatever. I think they call them zero
[4:35]gravity chairs. They are very
[4:37]comfortable. They're great for my back
[4:38]cuz my back is dying from my my
[4:42]bed. Hope to fix that someday. This
[4:46]everything is this is this is real
[4:50]life. I love my life. It's amazing. It's
[4:54]challenging as hell, but it's amazing.
[4:57]And it'll just get, you know, things get
[4:58]easier and better with time. Like some
[5:01]things were challenging to me when I
[5:03]first started doing this a year ago that
[5:04]are just second nature now, like
[5:06]emptying my tanks or um you know, using
[5:09]the different systems, all of that. Um
[5:11]and there's still things I'm learning to
[5:13]do. I'm learning to get
[5:16]fishing on all kinds of things and I
[5:18]keep sharing that process and I'll keep
[5:20]sharing
[5:23]it and I get to just hang out right
[5:26]here. I would like to bring my tent
[5:28]structure out because I was thinking cuz
[5:30]I want to get my laptop set up and do
[5:31]some work on that, but I got to use the
[5:35]inverter now. It's wet, you know, so I
[5:38]can't really do it at the picnic table.
[5:39]But if I had my tent structure out here,
[5:41]I could. But I don't have anything to
[5:42]sit it on. So, I'm going to need to get
[5:44]something for that. I have something in
[5:46]mind for it.
[5:50]Um, and these chairs probably wouldn't
[5:52]work in there. It's not a very big
[5:54]space. I got the smallest one I could.
[5:56]So, but you know, um, maybe just like a
[6:00]camping chair or something like
[6:02]that could work in there. And yeah, I'm
[6:05]going to put these things on my Amazon
[6:07]wish list. If there's some other things
[6:09]on there I really need, too. And if
[6:10]anybody's willing to help, that would be
[6:11]great.
[6:13]There are things I really need like some
[6:14]new shoes. My left shoe is um the back
[6:18]part of something happened to the back
[6:19]part of it and now it's cutting into my
[6:20]foot. It's horrible. It's absolutely
[6:23]horrible. I only had them for 3 months.
[6:25]So, but there's a pair of shoes on my
[6:27]wish list that um I used to have a pair
[6:29]of those before and I love them and
[6:31]they're great and they should last a
[6:32]pretty long time even with me hiking 5
[6:34]to 10 miles a
[6:36]day. So, I don't think we're getting out
[6:38]to the beach today with all this rain.
[6:41]Um, and the forecast did say it's going
[6:42]to rain all week. So, but you know, it's
[6:45]on and
[6:46]off. Hopefully, and you know, you can't
[6:48]really trust the forecast for the coast.
[6:50]They're it's constantly changing. So, we
[6:53]may end up having a very sunny
[6:55]day. And I hope so because I love being
[6:58]out there when it's like that.
[7:00]So, yeah. So, before I close this video
[7:04]out, there's one last thing I want to
[7:06]address. Been receiving comments from
[7:08]people on one of my videos. I think the
[7:11]one where um says where I'm the title is
[7:15]literally saying I need
[7:16]help receiving comments from people
[7:18]saying I have a very expensive RV towing
[7:21]a Jeep and therefore I'm not worthy of
[7:23]help. That is a flattening of my
[7:26]experience. It does not take into
[7:28]consideration that they are financed
[7:29]vehicles that I'm behind on my payments.
[7:32]that I financed them when I had perfect
[7:34]credit a year
[7:38]ago and that I'm struggling now. They're
[7:41]not looking at me as I am today. They're
[7:44]projecting on to me. They see something
[7:45]that they don't understand. They're not
[7:47]even trying to understand. I have no
[7:49]power. So, even though this is an
[7:51]expensive RV, I can't use any of the
[7:54]systems on it. I
[7:56]mean, my entire life is in transition
[7:59]right now.
[8:02]And I'm being judged because I worked
[8:04]really hard in my life to be
[8:06]able to get perfect credit and to be
[8:08]able to afford to finance these things
[8:09]when I did and then made the smart
[8:12]decision to move into it
[8:14]and completely changed my life because I
[8:18]saw the trajectory of this world and
[8:20]where we're heading and I wanted to get
[8:21]ahead of it and I'm trying to help
[8:23]others do the same and still people
[8:25]judge me. That is what I get very tired
[8:28]of. It's a flattening of my experience.
[8:31]It's projection. It's And this
[8:33]is how people act all the time. And I I
[8:36]will never tolerate it. They they
[8:38]immediately get blocked. But I am going
[8:40]to address it because it means that some
[8:42]people watching, the ones who don't
[8:43]comment, might be thinking the same
[8:45]things. And I just I can't understand
[8:49]that mentality because I don't think
[8:50]that way. And I never have. I don't look
[8:52]at somebody's things and think, "Oh,
[8:54]they're so special. They don't need my
[8:56]help." You know, like I don't think that
[8:59]way. Somebody tells me they need help, I
[9:01]listen to them. I meet them where they
[9:06]are. It is frustrating and heartbreaking
[9:09]to live in a world where other people
[9:11]aren't like that and most people aren't
[9:13]anymore. And it's
[9:15]just that's why none of this is
[9:19]sustainable. We're so disconnected from
[9:22]each other
[9:24]that we can't hold it all together.
[9:28]I weep for this
[9:30]world cuz people so shallow
[9:35]now.
[9:40]So I'm so so
[9:46]heartless. But I will never be that way.
[9:50]I am reaching out to the people who are
[9:51]like me and only the ones who are like
[9:54]me because we're going to build a better
[9:55]future
[9:57]together. I insist on it.
