[0:01]So, in my last
[0:02]video, I shared something
[0:05]vulnerable. I asked for help. I'm
[0:08]hopeful that some of you out there will
[0:10]help
[0:11]me. Um, this video is not about
[0:14]that. It's sort of like a
[0:17]contrast. I want to show you why I'm
[0:20]excited despite everything that's
[0:23]happening.
[0:24]So, I feel like I brought myself to the
[0:27]brink.
[0:28]didn't bring it on myself, but I always
[0:30]felt like I'd end up here. I
[0:33]just an intuition. I'd always end up on
[0:36]the brink and I would bring myself back
[0:38]from it, prove it to myself, and I know
[0:41]that's what's going to
[0:44]happen. So, I feel good about that
[0:47]part. I don't know if people can relate
[0:49]to that or not, but that is genuinely
[0:51]how I feel.
[0:54]This rupture in my life happened in
[0:56]Florence and I'm going back there
[0:59]because the national forests are there
[1:01]where I am now. I was looking at the
[1:03]maps. I couldn't find anything north of
[1:05]here, which is the direction I want to
[1:06]be heading
[1:07]in. But the last major national forest
[1:11]is south of here an hour. So, I'm going
[1:13]back to
[1:13]Florence to rewrite what happened to me
[1:16]there.
[1:18]There are a couple of different
[1:20]campgrounds there for um in the national
[1:22]forest where the duners go. And I love
[1:26]the
[1:27]duners. I got to witness them for two
[1:30]months when I was at Honeyman right next
[1:34]to that dune
[1:35]gate. A lot of hot
[1:38]men. A lot
[1:40]of a lot of loud machines. Big ones.
[1:46]Um, a lot of kinetic
[1:52]energy. I enjoyed
[1:54]it. So, I think I'll enjoy it here, you
[1:57]know, when I'm there. So,
[1:59]um, it's going to be different. No
[2:02]power, no water, no can't use my tanks,
[2:07]no
[2:09]um
[2:10]um Oh, I can't think of the board now,
[2:13]but no. no dump stations, like
[2:16]just completely off- grid basically,
[2:18]except on a campground. And I actually
[2:21]think this is important
[2:23]because I really need to learn to live
[2:25]off-rid, but I'm not ready to just be
[2:28]hopping
[2:29]between some random place somewhere and,
[2:32]you know, another random place. I I
[2:35]don't have the experience for that. I
[2:36]don't even know where to look. But I
[2:38]need to learn these skills. And
[2:41]everything I do is intentional.
[2:43]Everything I do is layered, happens in
[2:46]steps. It's
[2:47]iterative. That's how I learn
[2:48]programming. It's
[2:50]iterative. And this is the next
[2:53]iteration. We're a little over a week
[2:55]from my birthday. I'm going to make it a
[2:58]special one. That's the day I moved into
[3:00]my RV last year. One year on the road.
[3:05]Literally, I moved across the country
[3:08]from Kentucky to Oregon.
[3:13]I'm proud of
[3:15]myself. Things may not have gone the way
[3:17]I thought they
[3:19]would. I had my whole year
[3:21]planned. We're on volunteering for the
[3:24]state parks. I was very excited for
[3:26]this. The park I'm at now, Beverly
[3:29]Beach, is wonderful. I was going to be
[3:31]here for three months, October through
[3:32]December. This was the place I was most
[3:34]looking forward to. And I know that
[3:37]there are certain people out there that
[3:39]knew this and they didn't want me to
[3:41]have that dream and they took it from
[3:45]me. I'm a little bit bitter about it.
[3:47]I'll be honest. But I'll get over it. I
[3:50]don't stay
[3:51]stuck. I don't I don't root myself in
[3:55]the past. I always move forward. And
[3:58]that's what you heard me just tell you.
[4:00]All the things I'm going to do to move
[4:03]forward. It's going to be hard. I have
[4:06]no
[4:07]money. I wasn't ready for this
[4:10]transition. I'm hopeful that some of my
[4:12]viewers will help cuz I need the
[4:15]help. But whatever
[4:18]happens, I will get through it.
[4:23]I
