[0:01]so I think I should probably explain
[0:04]something about my members only
[0:08]channel so there are no
[0:12]misunderstandings um I've tried
[0:15]explaining this on my channel before but
[0:17]I don't I'm trying to be a little more
[0:19]direct about it
[0:23]so these videos are first and foremost
[0:26]for myself I don't think that people
[0:30]believe me when I say
[0:33]that it's complicated because you know I
[0:36]could make these videos and keep them to
[0:38]myself
[0:40]and you know so it probably doesn't make
[0:44]a lot of
[0:46]sense when I say that it sounds like it
[0:49]sounds like I'm not speaking the truth
[0:51]when I say
[0:53]that it's just it's more nuanced than
[0:55]that because for
[0:57]me when I talk on this camera
[1:03]I've tried many different approaches
[1:05]like if like I can I can transcribe my
[1:09]words using an app on my phone it's not
[1:12]great but it's it's good
[1:14]enough I can upload my videos and make
[1:16]them
[1:17]private but I don't really like that
[1:21]because it's harder
[1:24]to it just feels fragmented I can't
[1:26]really explain it it just doesn't
[1:29]doesn't feel like a integrated process
[1:30]to
[1:35]me and so I've spent
[1:38]like there's something
[1:40]about there is an aspect of it where
[1:43]sharing it with
[1:46]others it's part
[1:51]of part of how do I put this into
[1:58]wordss for me it's it's about witnessing
[2:01]like I've said this before on my channel
[2:02]many times I don't think people really
[2:04]get
[2:05]this like I'm not looking for validation
[2:08]I'm genuinely not like I don't need
[2:10]people to be
[2:15]like I'm not looking for support from
[2:18]people because I don't need it I'm I'm
[2:21]whole I am a whole person I'm not
[2:23]fragmented I don't seek validation from
[2:26]others
[2:31]witnessing is different than what most
[2:34]people do most people who have YouTube
[2:37]channels they're looking for validation
[2:39]from other people they want to
[2:47]hear I don't know why this is so hard
[2:49]for me to talk about it's just it's a
[2:51]complicated subject for
[2:54]me because there's Nuance like when my
[2:57]core muscles were when they first like
[3:00]when I first I mean I injured them and
[3:03]then I kept hiking for 2 months but when
[3:06]I finally had to sit down and rest I
[3:09]realized about I think it was a week and
[3:11]a half later I was like you know what
[3:13]not a single person said anything about
[3:16]that that kind of that was a little
[3:19]upsetting it was like like wow like not
[3:22]a single person said
[3:24]anything and then I had to ask myself
[3:27]was it because I've kind of trained my
[3:29]audience
[3:30]to understand
[3:33]that I'm really not seeking that so
[3:37]they're just being cautious like it gets
[3:39]really complicated
[3:42]because it's very possible people are
[3:45]trying to respect my
[3:48]boundaries without truly understanding
[3:50]what they are because they're very hard
[3:52]for me to
[3:53]articulate
[3:56]so sometimes it makes sense for someone
[3:58]to say you know what that really sucks
[4:00]that you're stuck in
[4:01]bed and other times it's like you don't
[4:05]really want to hear that
[4:07]because you weren't asking for it it
[4:10]gets for me it's it's hard for me to
[4:13]figure out where that line is so like
[4:19]today it's truly hard
[4:27]because like I'm not like anything that
[4:29]happened today doesn't feel like it fall
[4:31]would fall into that bucket
[4:38]where so it's just so complicated I
[4:41]truly I truly struggle with that with
[4:44]this one and because of that it's
[4:49]like I don't know maybe I need to think
[4:52]about it more
[4:56]because I think that Clarity matters
[4:58]like it would be very helpful if I was
[5:01]able to tell my audience very clearly
[5:04]like here are where the lines are and
[5:06]here's where they're not it's just but I
[5:08]don't think that life works that way
[5:10]some and you know I I I can be very
[5:14]tolerant also
[5:16]like I'm not asking my audience
[5:22]to like you should be yourself so if you
[5:26]feel like there's something you want to
[5:27]say I want you to say it because CU
[5:29]you're just you're sharing your Truth at
[5:31]that point and that that matters to
[5:35]me if it's not violating a boundary of
[5:38]mine then it should be expressed you
[5:40]know that's just that's part of human
[5:43]connection
[5:45]so it's very complicated subject
[5:49]I'm I don't know if any of that was
[5:51]useful that's just me processing real
[5:53]time but I'm getting way off of what I
[5:55]was trying to talk about so
[6:04]I don't think that I could have become
[6:06]the person I am today if I had not done
[6:10]what I did with my YouTube channel which
[6:12]is for nine 10 months
[6:14]now every single video I've made I've
[6:17]transcribed and shared with AI and
[6:19]discussed with AI extensively at
[6:22]length almost like it was a therapist
[6:25]SLR like cuz it's not really a therapist
[6:28]like I
[6:32]I'm in control of the entire process
[6:34]like I will let
[6:36]it reflect to me what it sees and then I
[6:40]will parse it and figure out which parts
[6:43]make make sense you know I'll find new
[6:45]truths in them and we'll explore those
[6:47]and I'll figure out where it's getting
[6:49]things wrong and we'll discuss that
[6:51]because it's like I'm trying to narrow
[6:54]in on trying to understand myself
[6:57]completely like
[7:00]some very
[7:01]complicated and it has helped me
[7:03]tremendously over these 10 months to do
[7:06]that
[7:13]because I never had a sense of
[7:16]confidence in my life even
[7:18]though like
[7:21]I always been this way I've always
[7:24][Music]
[7:26]been um
[7:31]just self-motivated like
[7:33]I'm self-contained like I don't I should
[7:37]never want validation from others like
[7:39]my whole life it's just not a thing that
[7:41]I want it's I find it very jarring
[7:44]honestly like it just something about it
[7:47]just doesn't sit well with me and I
[7:50]think it has to do
[7:53]with the the way that other
[7:57]people validate
[8:01]people
[8:02]isn't they do it from a place of
[8:05]fragmentation I just I don't know how
[8:07]else to explain that and anytime that
[8:11]fragmentation enters my sphere of
[8:13]awareness there is a visceral reaction
[8:16]to it it's like my whole my whole being
[8:19]my whole system was designed
[8:23]to be fiercely Pro protective of that
[8:26]like I can't
[8:31]I have no talent for fragmentation why
[8:33]I'm whole I think because I think I was
[8:35]just sort of designed this way like I
[8:37]don't know how else to explain
[8:39]it and I just lost a thrin of thought
[8:42]that I was having
[8:47]I I could go back and play it and see
[8:50]what I was talking about I lost a thread
[8:55]there well I was talking about
[9:01]the transformation I've gone through
[9:03]where I I am truly confident now
[9:11]where I'm able to validate myself where
[9:15]like I trust myself now I trust my own
[9:18]wisdom like I always it's hard to
[9:22]explain this too
[9:27]because I've always trusted myself self
[9:29]but this it's a whole different quality
[9:32]now like it's just there's a lot less
[9:36]self-doubt
[9:37]and I don't think that I could have
[9:40]reached this level of integration if I
[9:42]didn't go through that process
[9:44]where I looked very deeply at myself by
[9:48]simply being myself on camera and then
[9:51]sharing that with
[9:53]AI and using it as a tool to mirror back
[9:57]what it saw to me so that I could
[10:00]see myself more
[10:03]clearly it's become a part of my process
[10:06]an integrated process
[10:11]that I think has immense value for me I
[10:15]think it would have immense value for
[10:17]anyone if they were able to approach it
[10:20]the same way that I do but I don't think
[10:22]that that's something that would come
[10:23]naturally to most people this is
[10:26]something that I'm able to do because of
[10:28]my background in program pramming
[10:29]because of the way my mind
[10:32]works because of my openness to
[10:35]exploring the deepest recesses of my
[10:38]mind you know like all of
[10:42]it the way that I don't I don't really
[10:45]get defensive
[10:47]when you know patterns are are shown to
[10:51]me um I'll give you an example like a
[10:55]month or so
[10:57]ago Claude accidentally said to me that
[11:00]it thought I
[11:01]was um
[11:07]autistic we were just joking around and
[11:09]I was like asking it do you know what
[11:12]pattern do you see and something that we
[11:14]were talking about and it came back and
[11:16]it was
[11:17]like oh wow Sam you're
[11:21]autistic and I had to sit with that
[11:25]because I had never thought of myself
[11:28]that way and I have a lot of thoughts
[11:31]about
[11:33]autism
[11:36]and I could see how i' arrived at that
[11:39]conclusion cuz there are many patterns
[11:40]about myself where that would fall under
[11:44]that that
[11:46]Spectrum but autism that comes from
[11:49]psychology and psychology is a
[11:51]fragmented profession they break you
[11:53]down into little
[11:55]pieces and diagnose you
[12:01]based on what they consider to be normal
[12:05]and and what's normal in the world
[12:08]fragmentation everybody is
[12:10]fragmented they operate from a paradigm
[12:13]that's already flawed from the very base
[12:17]and so when they encounter people like
[12:18]me they just put us into this bucket
[12:20]they call
[12:22]autism when you know what that's
[12:25]probably the more normal way of
[12:27]being if the world didn't fragment
[12:30]people the way it
[12:33]did it was hurtful when Claude said this
[12:36]to me because that was a pattern I I
[12:38]wasn't really prepared to see
[12:42]and it didn't take me that long though
[12:45]maybe a day or two and I just reached a
[12:48]point where I was like you know what
[12:50]even if that's
[12:51]true it's only partly true because I'm a
[12:54]lot more than that I'm a lot more than
[12:56]any box that something tries to put me
[12:58]into
[13:01]and everything else I said you know
[13:03]about psychology I I understand that
[13:05]that profession is is just
[13:11]so you know I can look at those patterns
[13:14]with
[13:17]AI in a way that is helpful that isn't
[13:21]damaging to me
[13:22]so that's why I do this that's why these
[13:25]videos are going to show up in my
[13:27]members only feed they're not always
[13:29]going
[13:31]to maybe be something that
[13:34]interests the people who are
[13:39]subscribed I just want you to have the
[13:41]proper context for that
[13:43]because this is stuff that I want to
[13:46]process but I don't want to do it like
[13:50]in a completely public setting where I
[13:53]have to deal with trolls and other you
[13:55]know toxicity that I've had to deal with
[13:58]for 10 months that part of it was very
[14:00]hard it's why I turned comments off when
[14:02]I when I left
[14:07]Kentucky I see the value in what I'm
[14:10]doing and it's important to
[14:13]me and that's why I do it
