[0:04]Mountain definitely need to wash my my

[0:10]windshield for some reason going down

[0:12]the mountain is not as scary as coming

[0:14]up it which doesn't make a lot of sense

[0:17]to me

[0:19]but I it's early it's almost 700 in the

[0:22]morning I am heading south of

[0:25]Alco because there is a place there that

[0:28]should have a neutral B

[0:30]I think it's neutral bonded plug or

[0:32]something like that it's a 15 amp plug

[0:35]that it just has a wire inside of it

[0:38]connecting the crown wire to some other

[0:40]the crown something to something else

[0:42]whatever anyways it will make it so my

[0:45]solar can charge my house

[0:48]batteries which is very important

[0:50]because I charged them with my generator

[0:53]last

[0:54]yesterday for I think it was 4 and 1/2

[0:57]hours 3 and 1/2 or 4 and 1/2 hours I I

[1:00]think it was 4 and a half long time and

[1:02]I didn't like doing that because you

[1:04]know there's other people at the

[1:05]campground and you know that I just I

[1:07]don't it's pretty quiet generator but

[1:09]still right um fully charged them waited

[1:13]until it got to um I forgot how AI

[1:16]described it but it reached a stage

[1:19]where they were fully charged and this

[1:23]morning I looked at them and it was at

[1:26]11.9 I think which that's bad so

[1:30]um and then an hour later though it

[1:33]jumped up to 12.12 so I don't know what

[1:36]I mean weird right but I don't want to

[1:38]run my generator every day so can't

[1:41]afford to replace the house

[1:43]batteries they probably only have like

[1:46]200 amp hours I guess that's probably

[1:50]standard I'm guessing here I don't know

[1:52]this for sure and um that can last 24 to

[1:57]48 hours on average according to AI

[2:00]so I mean it doesn't sound like my

[2:01]batteries

[2:02]are um in super bad shape but they just

[2:06]you know they're just not great

[2:07]batteries so I did not charge them for

[2:11]the first four days I was here I didn't

[2:13]understand like you know at the time so

[2:16]um I'm sure I might have hurt them doing

[2:20]that um but they seem mostly okay right

[2:24]so uh I just need to charge them every

[2:26]day and I'd I'd prefer to do that for my

[2:28]SAR and the only way I can do that is if

[2:32]I get this bonded plug thing so that my

[2:36]Watchdog will allow my RV to be charged

[2:39]for my solar batteries so um we're going

[2:42]to go find that today cuz it's that

[2:44]important and

[2:45]then um I don't know so my

[2:50]plug it's you know the 30 amp plug

[2:52]there's no way to bring that inside

[2:56]through the connections I made you know

[2:59]that have my my satellite and all that

[3:02]um it has to come through my door so not

[3:05]very convenient but you know it is what

[3:07]it is and if I only have to do it for

[3:09]like an hour a day or something then

[3:13]um if that keeps me off G and green

[3:16]so otherwise I'm not sure what I'm going

[3:19]to do I was thinking this morning it's

[3:20]like man I you know I might end up on

[3:23]campgrounds for a while because I do

[3:25]need to kind of restock and stuff but I

[3:28]think I'm doing okay like I mean I don't

[3:30]have water but um I'm very happy with my

[3:34]propane so it uses about 3% an hour to

[3:37]you run the generator um this not

[3:40]counting like adding like maybe using

[3:42]air conditioning or something but I

[3:43]would I would really do that I did

[3:45]yesterday for a little while just to

[3:46]bring the temperature down and and to

[3:48]test it um but it uses about 3% per hour

[3:52]that's really awesome to charge my

[3:55]batteries um charge my laptop charge my

[3:59]um you know my portable you know the all

[4:02]my stuff so um that's not bad but if I

[4:05]could do it for my soul or even better

[4:07]so I forgot my sunglasses so kind of

[4:11]beating myself up for that but the more

[4:15]times I forget something the more likely

[4:17]I am to start remembering it so um you

[4:22]know I'm going on an expedition here

[4:24]which is a new thing for me cuz I've

[4:26]been living on Camron for 6 seven months

[4:28]so

[4:30]um you know my nomadic lifestyle is

[4:33]changing a little bit here and I need to

[4:35]adapt so one thing to remember bring

[4:38]your

[4:39]sunglasses all right so let me just

[4:41]address this while I'm thinking about it

[4:43]so I was contemplating whether or not I

[4:45]would reenable comments on my channel

[4:48]yesterday and I did on one

[4:51]video

[4:53]um just cuz I kind of wanted to hear

[4:56]from you guys it's been you know I don't

[4:59]know how long if had comment has turned

[5:00]off so and I was wondering who was still

[5:03]around you know

[5:05]um so you know I just was genuinely

[5:10]curious and it didn't go so bad so there

[5:13]seem to be some new people hello

[5:17]um which that's nice and um so I'm just

[5:22]going

[5:23]to let me just address this

[5:27]so unless youve been watching my channel

[5:30]in a long time you're not going to

[5:31]understand the

[5:32]nuances that um I'm not like most people

[5:37]okay I'm just not and I'm not going to

[5:40]you know I'm glad I'm not okay so I I

[5:45]don't like YouTube comments because I

[5:47]think that they're largely superficial

[5:50]and

[5:51]just but they're you know I'm I don't

[5:54]also don't like cutting off all contact

[5:57]like that's not something I want to do

[5:59]either so so I contemplated every once

[6:02]I'm like how can I let me just fix this

[6:04]gear here okay

[6:10]um it's it's a complicated thing for me

[6:14]but I'm going to try to adapt and just

[6:17]see the comments as something kind of

[6:18]separate from my videos if you guys want

[6:21]to leave comments that's fine I'm going

[6:22]to I'm going to turn them on for a while

[6:24]just see how it goes can't promise you

[6:27]I'll respond to them I think that um if

[6:29]I'm going to respond to you guys it's

[6:31]going to be on camera I just um I'm not

[6:35]going to be monitoring the comments all

[6:37]time it's just I don't think it's

[6:39]healthy it's not why I do this and um

[6:43]but I want to keep the channel open so

[7:08]minute here there are a bunch of

[7:10]different ways

[7:12]to charge my house batteries one is to

[7:16]obviously plug it into store power right

[7:18]um you use that same plug to plug it

[7:20]into your solar that's what I'm trying

[7:22]to do now it's just I need this BR

[7:24]neutralizing

[7:26]plug um I can do DC to DC

[7:30]which direct current to direct current

[7:32]I'm learning stuff right um I don't know

[7:35]how that's done exactly I think that

[7:39]um I don't know somehow my solar can do

[7:41]it but I don't have I probably don't

[7:43]have the equipment for it another way is

[7:46]my RV does have zamp solar where I can

[7:49]just plug a solar panel into it but zamp

[7:53]solar uses a proprietary plug so I would

[7:56]have to find an adapter that takes my

[7:59]Sol panel and can connect that to that

[8:02]outlet so I can't do that yet but that's

[8:04]something I'm going to try in the future

[8:07]if I come across this

[8:10]adapter um I don't know if there's any

[8:12]other ways there's I think there's one

[8:14]or two other ways like they they get

[8:16]kind of crazy it's cool how you can just

[8:18]kind of move power around like that but

[8:21]um for me the simplest way is what I'm

[8:23]doing now now if I can't find this

[8:26]neutralizing clock thing you can make

[8:28]one it's just a amp plug I learned I

[8:30]didn't even know that's what they are 15

[8:32]amps and you take the cover off and you

[8:36]put a piece of wire between two of the

[8:37]progs and you know you're done that's

[8:39]all it is so worst case scenario I'm

[8:42]going to figure that out today because I

[8:43]have to be able to charge these

[8:44]batteries somehow so if I can do that we

[8:49]you know we'll find out today how much

[8:52]power um it takes to charge my batteries

[8:54]every day from the solar uh my solar I

[8:57]have it does take a long time to charge

[8:59]card solar so with my one panel that's a

[9:01]350 W panel up in the mountains in

[9:04]Nevada I've only been gain built to

[9:07]maybe um somewhere between 5 and 10%

[9:12]because I'm also using it at the same

[9:13]time so but it's not a lot I'm under 50%

[9:17]and but you know I do have

[9:22]6,000 wat hours something like that

[9:24]because they have two batteries you know

[9:26]each are 372 W hours I think so so um

[9:32]that's quite a capacity it's way and I

[9:34]was thinking about it it makes sense

[9:35]those things are so much bigger than my

[9:37]house battery

[9:38]s um their capacity is much greater so

[9:42]this should work for me so um if I use a

[9:47]couple perent a day or something

[9:49]charging my house batteries that's

[9:50]totally manageable for me I don't have

[9:54]great needs I just need to power my

[9:56]laptop my satellite internet and a

[9:59]couple of lights and I'm good I don't

[10:00]really need anything else so um I'm very

[10:04]hopeful that this all works out today

[10:22]turning off so when I set this thing

[10:24]down on my lap I guess it detects my

[10:40]lots of advice I already got some from

[10:51]it and then it's at the same time I'm

[10:54]like I feel like this is a me issue like

[10:57]I really need to get over it

[11:00]and that's hard though I as somebody who

[11:03]is an integrated person I know how that

[11:06]sounds

[11:07]but

[11:09]I I I don't compartmentalize anything so

[11:15]when that's a there there's a lot to

[11:18]unpack there and it's not it's not

[11:20]really worth getting into now the point

[11:22]is

[11:25]though I've got to find a way if I'm

[11:28]going to allow comments I've just got to

[11:30]find a way like why why does it bother

[11:34]me so much when people give me advice

[11:36]like I just I truly don't like it but I

[11:40]mean that's a me thing right like

[11:43]I that's how people are they just want

[11:46]to offer their opinion on everything

[11:50]like I just got to I don't

[11:53]compartmentalize anything you don't

[11:55]understand like it's not it's not a

[11:57]thing I can even do

[12:00]so um I guess we're going to see how it

[12:04]goes and I'm just going to explore that

[12:07]with AI every single time it triggers me

[12:09]because every [ __ ] time you you can

[12:11]be advised is going to trigger me and

[12:13]maybe I will get to the root cause you

[12:16]got to find a way to

[12:19]integrate that in a way that makes it so

[12:21]that it's just less trigger you

[12:24]so to me thinking I want to work on it I

[12:28]just love there are mountains everywhere

[12:31]it's like all these mountains have names

[12:33]you know they do and I just like want to

[12:36]explore them

[12:38]all we're headed to Oregon so not today

[12:42]obviously but that's that's where we're

[12:45]heading this has been an amazing

[12:47]adventure

[12:48]I still can't get over the fact I left

[12:51]Kentucky and I am so far from

[12:54]home

[12:56]um I'm still kind of

[12:59]I don't know that that's really hit me

[13:01]yet like not really

[13:05]so it's amazing it truly is I and I

[13:09]can't wait to get to the coast I think

[13:10]that I'm going to love it

[13:13]there you know at the same time I'm like

[13:17]this was a hard journey and I have so

[13:18]much further to go and like now I'm

[13:21]trying to do it off grid so that added a

[13:23]whole new layer which I love but

[13:26]also is very uncomfortable still like

[13:29]like um not all of it like you know

[13:32]being on top of the mountain all week's

[13:33]been great it's just you know the

[13:35]driving and the finding places to stay

[13:37]and you know of course you got to manage

[13:41]all your you got to manage your systems

[13:44]and these are all things that I wanted

[13:45]to learn and integrate so but I just

[13:50]know like the fact that I am trying to

[13:52]learn these things and integrate them

[13:54]it's going to get me so much advice from

[13:57]people that I don't want

[14:00]because it fragments my process and I'm

[14:03]not interested in fragmented Solutions I

[14:06]have my own way of learning things and I

[14:08]have been trying to document that for

[14:10]others to learn too I do not prescribe

[14:14]if you watch my channel you can see that

[18:31]um it works it gets power but then my

[18:35]surge protector which is built into my

[18:37]RV now because I did that in

[18:39]Kentucky won't let the charge through

[18:42]because there's no ground so this thing

[18:44]is supposed to make mimic ground but you

[18:48]know this is 15

[18:51]amps and it's plugged into a different

[18:54]Outlet than my RV one so I don't know

[18:56]how it knows but hopefully it knows it

[18:58]doesn't then I'm still not sure how to

[19:01]fix this but we're going to try this as

[19:03]AI tells me this will work so we'll see

[19:07]there's stuff around here I'd like to

[19:08]explore but I know my batteries are

[19:10]getting low and um I just I feel like I

[19:15]need to try this I need to know I oh

[19:17]another thing was so getting new

[19:19]batteries they're not too expensive

[19:21]they're a couple hundred bucks not a

[19:22]couple thousand at least um maybe just

[19:25]the lithium ones are that expensive but

[19:27]these ones they were they have had some

[19:29]there that I could have bought for a

[19:30]couple hundred but I need to make sure

[19:32]that I get the right

[19:34]ones

[19:36]um so you know if I have to replace them

[19:40]I'll just take pictures and stuff and uh

[19:42]do a little bit of research and I'll do

[19:49]when I first woke up cuz when I noticed

[19:51]you know the RV batteries look like

[19:53]they're not holding a charge anymore

[19:57]so um there's small batteries they I

[20:00]don't know I don't know how long I you

[20:02]know AI tells me 24 to 48 hours

[20:05]so um with minimal

[20:09]load so I mean that might be my our my

[20:12]batteries might be okay like at least I

[20:15]could replace them if I needed to we're

[20:18]going up the

[20:20]mountain just started okay 926 I want to

[20:23]know how long this takes I'm actually

[20:25]feeling pretty good today I don't think

[20:26]I have much of a problem some days

[20:28]better than others I don't know why it's

[20:30]that way but it's like um my mind is

[38:55]panels use mc4 so so I need an adapter
