[0:01]off um so I was thinking I don't think I

[0:05]told you guys I learned what those

[0:06]buildings were um and now it's slipped

[0:09]my mind which is so upsetting because

[0:13]there's something elevators like weed

[0:15]elevators

[0:17]or some kind of elevators related to

[0:19]Agriculture and they look like giant

[0:21]buildings they're freaking cool um it's

[0:25]hard for me to commit some things to

[0:26]memory because I don't think that way

[0:28]like I don't think it labels

[0:30]and I understand what it is now you know

[0:34]but it'll come back to me that's just

[0:36]how that works I know it's a little

[0:39]weird but it's

[0:41]cuz the way my mind works

[0:44]it it looks at the underlying like

[0:48]mechanics of a thing

[0:51]and it's it's a pattern recognition

[0:53]thing it's hard to describe but anyways

[0:55]we're off we have 180 miles to go

[1:00]things are going great both my dash cams

[1:02]did fall off in the middle of the night

[1:05]so as a temporary solution I have put

[1:07]painters tape on the mount parts keeping

[1:10]them up there that seems to be working

[1:12]this is a lesson by the way I had gone

[1:15]to the auto parts store in order to get

[1:17]that piece I needed for my Jeep towing

[1:19]gear and one of the things I wanted was

[1:21]an adhesive for my windows and the the

[1:24]woman that worked there talked to me out

[1:25]of

[1:26]it a person who worked there talked to

[1:29]me out of buying something and because

[1:32]she seemed so knowledgeable about

[1:34]everything I took her at a word and

[1:37]didn't buy what I needed that is what

[1:40]unsolicited device looks

[1:42]like she didn't know my particular

[1:45]circumstances well enough to know if

[1:48]what she was suggesting would work or

[1:50]not and that is what people

[1:53]do and it's

[1:55]just a lesson for me to trust my own

[1:59]situation even more than I already do

[2:02]cuz I knew what I wanted I was there for

[2:05]it so I'll be going to another auto part

[2:08]store the next place I stop the next

[2:10]Campground will be somewhere in the

[2:13]middle of Kansas that's all I can say I

[2:15]don't know um as far as where I

[2:18]was Pomona State

[2:21]Park I figure I'll tell you guys after I

[2:23]leave cuz you know there's some lunatics

[2:25]out there but I was at Pomona State Park

[2:29]and I didn't get to see much of it I

[2:31]don't think I even really caught glimps

[2:33]of the lake it was a very big Campground

[2:35]though very big Park um nice place to

[2:39]stay if you just happen to be out

[2:42]here a something

[2:45]fell something minor but I have to see

[2:47]what it was every it's always

[2:51]a

[2:53]um you know this is how you learn you

[2:56]think you have everything secure this

[2:58]time and you still don't

[3:00]that's

[3:01]okay Bailey safe I noticed that he

[3:04]wanted to get underneath the um the bed

[3:06]there's like this little Alo under the

[3:08]bed so I'm going to when I get to the

[3:10]next Campground I'm going to set that up

[3:11]as like a little bed area he's never

[3:13]used to be and um looks like he might

[3:16]feel safe and comfortable down there

[3:17]while I'm driving so do that for

[3:21]him that's all for now this is a

[3:24]beautiful sign in the

[3:28]distance this hill

[3:31]oh look at that house over there that's

[3:32]beautiful it's very big

[3:39]beautiful definitely entering the

[3:41]heartland of

[3:52]Kansas I am loving the Landscapes out

[3:55]here just Wide Open Sky and then these

[3:58]Hills that just

[4:00]they just very

[4:02]steep just beautiful

[4:06]structures that very

[4:09]beautiful got his toone up here and I

[4:12]was looking to these ones we've kind of

[4:14]passed them I didn't record

[4:16]them but it's just beautiful out here

[4:20]Kansas is beautiful I legitimately

[4:23]cannot recall the last time I saw an

[4:27]Open Sky like

[4:28]this this is

[4:32]wonderful I know that well I guess I

[4:34]probably did when I was in Arizona of

[4:35]course I don't know I guess it feels

[4:38]different I ever was a fan of deserts

[4:40]this

[4:41]is I'd almost call this sort of like a

[4:44]transition

[4:46]between Forest land in the desert like

[4:50]whatever whatever climate we call this

[4:53]it's very fascinating to

[4:56]me I'm loving this so for those those of

[4:59]you wondering about my statuette I think

[5:03]that's what it's called of the giraffe

[5:05]and the Elephant that sits on my Dash

[5:07]there my mom gave me that her grandma

[5:10]gave it my grandma gave it to my mom and

[5:12]she gave it to me and it's supposed to

[5:16]represent

[5:18]basically Learning to Lean on yourself

[5:20]see the the giraffe is picking up the

[5:23]elephant but the elephant can stand on

[5:25]its own and that's what the draff is

[5:28]telling it and that is why it sits right

[5:31]there in the center of my Dash I think

[5:33]it is just a wonderful

[5:35]metaphor

[5:40]and a wonderful memory from my mom I

[5:43]mean I always think of her when I look

[5:44]at that

[5:46]so it feels so fitting to have it

[5:52]there so let's set the world on

[5:56]fire we can grow

[5:58]brighter than the

[6:04]sun we got some more Hills coming up see

[6:08]my phone just flattens it that is a very

[6:11]steep incline looks so flat on this

[6:15]thing man I've got to figure out how

[6:18]these better cameras cuz this is so cool

[6:22]so for the first oh I don't know 7

[6:25]months now maybe I've always kept that

[6:28]on the Range so I knew how many miles I

[6:30]had to go before I ran out but I done

[6:33]this long enough now I've integrated it

[6:36]to where I feel comfortable not staring

[6:38]at that thing all the time cuz I know

[6:40]what I've got going

[6:43]on cool Fort Riley Military Reservation

[6:48]wonder what's going on over here I bet

[6:50]it's

[6:51]amazing but it's awesome I don't get to

[6:54]see many of these now I love these rock

[6:56]formations that just kind of that we put

[7:00]our highways through we just cut through

[7:02]them but look at those ones no trees on

[7:05]top of them like in Kentucky

[7:08]or um where did I go after that

[7:13]Missouri so the Landscapes are

[7:16]changing look at that all those little

[7:18]helicopters well they're not little

[7:20]those are freaking big so

[7:24]many we have found the Fort Riley Place

[7:27]Riley is a cool name by the way we're in

[7:29]Riley County when I saw that I was like

[7:31]Riley's a cool

[7:33]name very

[7:36]cool obviously I'm not a fan of war war

[7:40]mongering aggression violence any of

[7:42]that stuff I can still

[7:48]appreciate oh how to put this one in the

[7:51]work the military is a very interestes

[7:53]in organization I mean

[7:57]they they have built very good systems I

[8:01]mean their systems are good systems

[8:02]they're very good at what they do um and

[8:05]they're not all about you know the

[8:07]things I just said of course that's why

[8:10]we have the Army Corps of Engineers

[8:12]which is amazing and our Navy is kind of

[8:16]what kept the peace since World War II

[8:18]you know allowed for trade around the

[8:19]world and um you know important

[8:23]stuff um got a merge up here so time to

[8:26]go so I guess we can talk about the

[8:28]military I was actually discussing with

[8:31]AI last night I don't even we just sort

[8:34]of got on to the topic I guess

[8:39]um first understand that there is a

[8:42]difference

[8:45]between

[8:47]well the political decisions that are

[8:50]used

[8:54]um I don't know and what you know

[8:57]there's it's very Nu it's hard for me to

[8:59]explain this one so I'm going to try

[9:04]um I have deep respect for our military

[9:07]I

[9:08]do I think we do a lot of good things I

[9:11]even think we try to be good like we

[9:13]literally have like like lawyers and

[9:17]like I don't know if they're just

[9:18]lawyers or if they're I don't know what

[9:21]they're called but you know they kind of

[9:23]oversee like what we're doing they make

[9:25]sure that we're we're obeying

[9:26]international law like that's that's

[9:28]freaking amazing that we do that we

[9:31]don't get everything right but we

[9:33]try um what I don't like is the

[9:35]political side of it where we're not

[9:38]consistent in our values we're helping

[9:41]Ukraine which is wonderful I have

[9:42]friends

[9:43]there um but we didn't help Syria when

[9:46]we had the chance which probably helped

[9:48]lead to

[9:50]Ukraine I've started to understand the

[9:52]fragmentations in every system that

[9:54]includes the political and the military

[9:56]because we're not consistent in our

[9:59]values that's

[10:01]fragmentation and when you're not

[10:07]consistent well you start causing

[10:10]disintegration that's what's happening

[10:13]that's what's happening with all of our

[10:14]systems consider that word you've really

[10:17]got to think about word

[10:20]disintegration it has the word

[10:21]integration in

[10:23]it all of our problems are a result of

[10:26]not being integrated

[10:31]we we set

[10:37]ourselves it's hard for me to discuss

[10:40]this there's just so many

[10:42]layers

[10:48]and you know what I don't want it

[10:52]disgusting I want to have a good day

[10:55]check it out we're passing Jeep road so

[11:03]thinking um there's a lot I need to do

[11:06]to this RV once I get into the Pacific

[11:09]Northwest but I can do some of it along

[11:11]the

[11:12]way I'm going to try to get my slide to

[11:15]come in all the way you know it's

[11:16]sticking out on one side like an inch or

[11:19]so if I

[11:22]can't what I'm I I have a plan I'll just

[11:24]use some pipe insulation and some

[11:27]weather stripping tape and you know I'll

[11:29]just I'll seal it up that way cuz it's

[11:32]not a problem you know that it's like

[11:34]that um as far as you know stability and

[11:37]things like that but I'm going to try to

[11:39]get it in if I can

[11:42]um cuz it's really just I think a

[11:45]misalignment with the

[11:47]motors but if I can I have a solution

[11:49]for that

[11:51]and because I'm going to be in an

[11:53]environment so also because I regardless

[11:56]of whether you know I can fix that or

[11:57]not my slides never coming out again

[11:59]permanently like I want my slide to stay

[12:02]in always so I need to insulate around

[12:06]the edges of it on the

[12:09]inside um so there will be some effort

[12:12]in that and I want to put up insulation

[12:16]boards foam boards I don't know what

[12:18]they're called but I want to put them up

[12:20]on all of the walls in the ceiling um I

[12:24]want to do something with the

[12:26]floor like I want to truly in this thing

[12:29]because it is going to be winter in the

[12:32]Pacific

[12:33]Northwest uh it won't be in the

[12:36]snow

[12:38]probably but you know it'll be raining

[12:41]for weeks at a time there'll be a lot of

[12:45]wind storms like I'm so looking forward

[12:48]to that so I just want to get my

[12:50]environment set up for it I want to be

[12:52]ready for it so I was thinking

[12:56]maybe um I'll start doing some planning

[12:58]tonight once I get to the next

[13:00]Campground and then tomorrow I'll try to

[13:01]find a hardware store and start getting

[13:03]supplies for that I'll just store them

[13:05]Above This slide you know my new store

[13:07]jve and um we'll be working on that all

[13:10]the way to the Pacific

[13:12]Northwest uh I want to tear down the

[13:15]wines and you know the little decoration

[13:18]things that go around the above the The

[13:21]Vines and I want to put in some

[13:23]insulated curtains

[13:25]instead I have an idea on how I can do

[13:28]that cuz I don't think that I can drill

[13:29]into the outer walls like I just don't

[13:32]think that I have the skill for that but

[13:35]I can use touching rods across those two

[13:38]Al coves my desk or my office and my my

[13:43]bedroom and that will take care of that

[13:46]side of the

[13:47]RV um the kitchen

[13:50]one maybe I leave that one alone and

[13:52]just put reflec tis in that window and I

[13:54]need to and then there's the back window

[13:56]that one's really easy to put reflec tis

[13:58]in

[14:00]but even that one yeah maybe a tension

[14:02]rod or something so I'm I'm still

[14:04]thinking it through but that's kind of

[14:05]what's been on my mind today I've just

[14:07]been kind

[14:08]of

[14:11]contemplating all the work I'm going to

[14:13]have to do in here

[14:15]and it's not going to look pretty cuz I

[14:18]think it's going to be a bunch of you

[14:19]know insulated boards and

[14:21]then um probably a layer of reflecting

[14:25]so everything's got to be all shiny in

[14:27]here I don't know how I'll make that

[14:29]prettier because I will want to do

[14:31]something I was thinking I could pull my

[14:33]paints out and just kind of do an

[14:36]abstract painting like cuz I can't paint

[14:39]but you know I can make brush Strokes of

[14:40]different colors something like that I

[14:43]don't know um cuz I kind of think of it

[14:48]as a permanent

[14:49]installation I just want this thing very

[14:51]well insulated because the manufacturers

[14:53]don't do that they're just they're

[14:55]absolute grap

[14:58]and most of the RB Community just

[15:00]accepts it all of the things that the

[15:03]manufacturers do nobody pushes back on

[15:05]them and they just tell people like me

[15:07]to adapt to the RV instead of making the

[15:10]RV adapt to you you know I don't think

[15:13]like that I'm going to make this thing

[15:15]my home I'm going to make it work for me

[15:17]not the other way

[19:09]interesting I learned yesterday talking

[19:11]to

[19:12]AI I had always tried to understand why

[19:16]like I'm legitimately not interested

[19:20]in

[19:22]um external validation like at all I it

[19:26]comes from within it always has

[19:31]and I don't like unsolicited advice I

[19:35]don't like the way that people try to

[19:37]talk to me it bothers me greatly and

[19:41]even like with my father like I remember

[19:43]like a recurring theme with him where he

[19:45]was always saying I don't know why you

[19:46]always have to explain yourself like why

[19:49]can't you just let me say my piece and

[19:51]then be done with it all of these things

[19:56]like are interrelated things

[20:02]and like I cannot let it go when I feel

[20:06]I've been

[20:07]misrepresented and I struggled with like

[20:10]is that a contradiction am I seeking

[20:12]validation externally because clearly it

[20:15]matters to me when somebody

[20:16]misrepresents

[20:18]me and what I discovered was a very cool

[20:22]analogy for this imagine that you're

[20:26]just sitting there and somebody's

[20:29]painting your picture there's a painter

[20:31]and he's painting your picture if that

[20:33]painter paints

[20:36]you in a way that doesn't reflect who

[20:39]you are you know it doesn't look like

[20:41]you you're going to understandably be

[20:44]upset because you've been misrepresented

[20:46]you have not been presented the way that

[20:48]you know yourself to be it's not about

[20:50]the painter it's about the painting so

[20:53]every time on this channel when you guys

[20:55]were like there were people who we're

[20:58]always saying well you're thinking that

[21:00]I'm a lot like them when I'm not and I'd

[21:02]be like I'm not like you you don't

[21:05]understand you're looking at this from

[21:07]your world view you're not really

[21:08]listening to what I'm

[21:10]saying you you're not even trying to

[21:12]conceptualize just how fundamentally

[21:14]different we are like that stuff greats

[21:18]on me and it's one of the reasons I

[21:20]ended up turning comments off because I

[21:22]didn't want to deal with it anymore now

[21:24]I understand it it's because you guys

[21:26]are painting me

[21:29]as something

[21:30]else it's not about you it's about the

[21:33]painting that you guys try to project on

[21:36]to me and it's just not acceptable to me

[21:38]because you do not understand just how

[21:40]fundamentally different we

[21:45]are but it's

[21:47]unfortunate

[21:50]because there is a lot of value in being

[21:53]more like me and I think that everybody

[21:56]to some extent can better

[21:59]themselves it's not always easy

[22:01]especially when you're starting from

[22:03]such a fragmented place but you have to

[22:04]start

[22:06]somewhere you cannot

[22:09]imagine what it is like for me to live

[22:12]in this world so differently from

[22:16]you I'm not saying it's a bad thing I'm

[22:18]saying

[22:20]that I experience things profoundly

[22:23]different than you do you are missing

[22:26]out that's what I'm telling you I do

[22:29]love these giant wind wind windmills

[22:32]those are windmills right yeah wonder

[22:35]why that one's not working but you can a

[22:37]couple of them are must be how the wind

[22:39]catches them or something I don't know

[22:41]very

[22:43]cool so so big just saw a bunch of those

[22:47]on my way to Arizona in

[22:50]December so I guess we're just up on a

[22:53]hill then and that's why the windmills

[22:54]are

[22:55]there there's some more over there when

[22:58]we get to that other Hill very cool I

[23:01]love what they've done here they're

[23:03]making they're taking advantage of their

[23:05]you know their natural resources the

[23:07]wind whole bunch over

[23:11]there Farmland I love the rows and rows

[23:15]of corn or whatever that is wheat

[23:17]whatever it is um there's just a such a

[23:20]beautiful symmetry in in Farmland that I

[23:22]just absolutely

[23:24]love so yeah there's still things to

[23:27]see this is a wonderful place it was

[23:31]just I was on a very long stretch of

[23:32]land I was like oh my God this could put

[23:36]me to

[23:36]sleep you know if you think about it I

[23:39]bet farmers are more

[23:41]integrated because they live in work on

[23:45]their

[23:46]own they're not separating themselves

[23:48]into buckets fragmenting themselves

[23:50]thinking that they have to act like

[23:52]different people in different situations

[23:55]I'm not saying that they're as

[23:56]integrated as I am

[23:59]but they

[24:03]probably just probably are better

[24:06]integrated people what I'm learning big

[24:09]part of fragmentation is the fact that

[24:12]people can mentalize different parts of

[24:15]themselves to the point

[24:19]where it's almost like they have

[24:21]multiple identities

[24:24]honestly I'm guessing you know Farmers

[24:26]probably do it too I mean like CU if you

[24:28]take like the religion angle they

[24:29]probably have

[24:31]like you know a lot of them are probably

[24:34]religious I would assume

[24:37]and honestly religion is very fragmented

[24:41]itself

[24:43]it's you know you

[24:47]might follow a certain religion that

[24:49]have certain rules or ethics if you

[24:52]don't really live by them you know

[24:56]you it's just way people are I've

[24:59]observed it my whole life so I know what

[25:02]I'm talking

[25:03]about ethics is something that has to

[25:05]come from within it canot come from some

[25:07]external

[25:08]institution you have to know what's

[25:10]right and wrong and be consistent about

[25:12]it consistency

[25:14]again you people just aren't consistent

[25:18]systems aren't consistent our

[25:19]governments aren't you know our our

[25:21]corporations aren't they claim one set

[25:23]of values and then do something

[25:25]completely

[25:26]different this this fragmentation this

[25:29]is disintegration this is what's

[25:31]happening I'm sure it was not clear but

[25:33]in my previous clip when I brought up

[25:35]the farmers it's because I'm thinking

[25:38]about the fact that fragmentation has

[25:40]been accelerating throughout my

[25:43]life in the older

[25:46]days when a lot more of us were farmers

[25:48]when we lived in our communities

[25:50]fragmentation was not

[25:53]as as pronounced as it is there are

[25:55]layers to everything that's why you

[25:58]really have to sit with my

[26:00]words I'm driving through Kansas seeing

[26:02]Farmland do the whole time that I'm

[26:05]driving and it's got me thinking about

[26:07]farmers and other integrated things that

[26:11]are part of my world

[26:12]view you know so I I connect them all

[26:15]there's interconnections to them

[26:18]there's relationships between

[26:22]everything my mind is always doing

[26:25]pattern recognition that's what's

[26:27]happening

[26:29]I've seen farmers and I'm

[26:36]thinking about

[26:39]how just all of it I'm thinking about

[26:41]all of

[26:45]it we've lost like another thing I'm

[26:48]thinking about is the fact that we've

[26:49]lost all of our all those skills very

[26:52]few of us have those kinds of skills

[26:54]anymore we've lost all of our survival

[26:57]skills when this Society collapses

[27:01]people are not going to know what to do

[27:03]in many ways I'm not but I'm working on

[27:06]that I'm trying to fix that

[27:08]problem you know I'm going to the

[27:09]Pacific Northwest where I'm going to

[27:11]learn to survive there and hopefully I

[27:14]think I'm going to try taking up fishing

[27:15]I haven't been thinking a lot about it

[27:17]the way I don't know if I can take a

[27:19]life even a fish's life

[27:22]points I think if I approach it with the

[27:25]right mindset and honor of the fish then

[27:27]maybe I could and I want to learn from a

[27:30]culture that appreciates that so our

[27:33]indigenous cultures I'm going to reach

[27:35]out to them and see if any of them are

[27:36]willing

[27:38]to teach me their ways when it comes to

[27:40]fishing there's a lot of indigenous

[27:42]tribes out there

[27:44]that that honor that way of life and I

[27:47]want to learn from

[27:49]them they're way more holistic and

[27:51]integrated than we are they've long seen

[27:55]the problems that this world is creating

[27:57]they probably see social collapse as

[27:59]well as I

[28:01]do and it really got me thinking about

[28:05]you know how I felt growing up in this

[28:07]world and the centuries of Oppression

[28:10]that we have inflicted upon them and

[28:13]continue to inflict on them even

[28:17]today just generational trauma

[28:21]honestly all in the name of what you

[28:23]guys call

[28:25]progress you have no idea how

[28:28]fundamentally

[28:29]flaw of the world to world view

[28:33]is that we allowed this Western culture

[28:38]to infect the whole

[28:41]planet is the greatest sin Humanity has

[28:45]ever committed on this

[28:46]planet so I never got around to

[28:49]uploading it so I'm just going to I just

[28:51]want to document it for my journey my

[28:53]first day at the other Campground I went

[28:55]I found a Mexican restaurant um several

[28:58]TOS over and on the way I picked up a

[29:01]hitchhiker and I took this person to

[29:03]some little town that he was trying to

[29:05]walk to I used to walk all the time when

[29:08]I was his age and Tom there and he waved

[29:11]at me he wasn't even really hitchhiking

[29:13]he just wav so I turned around ask need

[29:16]to ride somewhere and that was cool

[29:18]because do kind I know Fe

[29:23]people don't have other people anymore

[29:26]and I just think that that's really

[29:29]sad anyways um I'm basically here so

[29:34]this is very remote I don't know that

[29:37]I'll find a hardware store anyway for

[29:38]the kind of hardware store for the kind

[29:40]of stuff I'm looking

[29:41]for I might have to wait maybe just make

[29:44]plans but yeah this is

[29:47]remote love it see there's probably a

[29:50]little town over there

[29:53]the wow I really am like just the very

[29:58]all little

[29:59]places I think I'm going to love

[30:02]this nice Hills this is an interesting

[30:06]place a few of these little spots where
