[0:00]you want to see what's going on at the
[0:01]truck stop watch the truck drivers go
[0:06]by you've been waiting a while having me
[0:09]it's not looking good we made it
[0:14]barely used to be about done by now you
[0:18]can't be on this side buddy that is not
[0:21]not a good place this thing tell me
[0:23]we're at the
[0:26]border so that little town there
[0:30]it's either a Missouri or Kansas town I
[0:34]guess people driving like lunatics
[0:37]whenever I take a corner and come
[0:39]speeding around me and TR to get around
[0:44]me a couple times they came within
[0:46]inches of hitting a car in incoming
[0:50]traffic cuz they're idiots we have now
[0:53]reached Kansas
[0:56]yay from my point of view it's not my
[0:58]problem people need to learn to be more
[1:00]patient they're not even that far in
[1:01]front of me I can see them all here
[1:04]comes another one you
[1:08]guys you need to learn to be more
[1:10]patient because you're just putting your
[1:12]own life and other people's lives in
[1:14]danger I'm coming traffic nearly had an
[1:19]accident all because you're so addicted
[1:22]to your phones and your digital lives
[1:25]that your brains are just scrambled to
[1:28]the point where you
[1:32]you can't take two or three more minutes
[1:33]to guess somewhere it's
[1:36]stupid very cool the nature changed
[1:39]almost
[1:41]immediately lots of wheat fields or corn
[1:43]fields or whatever those
[1:45]on wonder if they're good because like I
[1:49]don't know they look like the sun
[1:51]has got a number on them but I don't
[1:54]know don't know how that
[1:56]works very freaking cool though
[2:01]I don't know what those are but they're
[2:02]pretty cool to
[2:03]me pretty cool no idea what they are it
[2:08]says it's on a Main Street somewhere
[2:10]here I don't know what town I'm in
[2:12]Neosho
[2:13]County
[2:15]tid something Association
[2:19]it's it's got some weird stuff on the
[2:22]top of it satellit something shaped like
[2:24]a star but it's out of made out of
[2:26]metal it's amazing I don't know what
[2:29]that is is that is a cool
[2:32]building got an ancient oh look at what
[2:34]we got over here we got some big giant
[2:38]like Silo thingies whatever those are
[2:42]very
[2:43]cool absolutely loving this place so
[2:47]freaking
[2:48]cool lots and lots of Open
[2:52]Fields as soon as I got here it felt
[2:55]like I was in Kansas
[2:57]somehow I though I don't really know
[3:00]much about this place just this felt
[3:02]like Kansas farm equipment seeing that
[3:06]all over the
[3:08]place there something about the
[3:11]vibe that is an awesome tree that tree
[3:15]is amazing I saw a way cooler one though
[3:17]looked like a giant bonsai tree I got to
[3:19]find out what that was it was all
[3:21]fractal shaped it was amazing pretty
[3:26]flowers locked and lot of them they're
[3:28]everywhere
[3:30]wonder what those are
[3:33]called long stretches of open
[3:37]Highway um with with hills lots of hills
[3:40]those Hills are eating up my gas mileage
[3:43]so I'm very curious what the mountainous
[3:45]regions will be
[3:47]like and lots and lots of fields of
[3:52]course plenty of
[3:55]trees Wide Open Sky beautiful blues and
[3:59]clouds it's very
[4:03]nice this is
[4:06]why I do this I don't want to be stuck
[4:10]in a
[4:11]house such a stagnant way to
[4:14]live
[4:17]oh that guy just passed me and a bunch
[4:19]of stuff came out of this truck here
[4:22]comes another one people are so
[4:24]impatient it is just unreal to me
[4:26]absolutely unreal I'm going 55 relax
[4:32]people definitely feels like
[4:36]Kansas all right so I
[4:42]just when you're stuck in a house or a
[4:45]traditional life the relationships you
[4:48]have and I'm not just talking about with
[4:50]people if you understand me at all yet
[4:54]everything is a relationship to
[4:56]everything else I've been thinking about
[4:58]this in
[5:00]when I'm when you have a traditional
[5:03]life things become kind of a into they
[5:06]become Static patterns
[5:10]that just not conducive to a good
[5:17]life I would never want to live that
[5:19]life check out the dump stations here in
[5:23]canas those are pretty cool they've even
[5:26]colorcoded them very neat
[5:30]I am not sure where my campsite is
[5:32]there's a whole bunch of campgrounds in
[5:34]another state park just like the one I
[5:36]was at and I don't know which one is why
[5:39]there was no one at the gate so just
[5:41]looking around mey chilling right there
[5:45]with me very cool I swear there's always
[5:49]something right the
[5:51]svine something's leak like there's two
[5:54]different things
[5:56]leaking but if I come down here
[6:00]I could see that this pipe saking
[6:02]whatever that
[6:03]is I don't see anything going on over
[6:06]here but this hard to
[6:08]see maybe if I put my camera up here
[6:11]I'll get a
[6:16]look I'll seal that or
[6:20]something I'm curious what it goes to I
[6:23]mean obviously I think it's water have
[6:26]my water hooked up
[6:31]um multiple
[6:36]hoses so yeah I'm going to have to learn
[6:40]what these are and how to fix them
[6:46]properly life of a
[6:49]nomad my GPS sent me down a dirt road
[6:52]right as I got to the park it was the
[6:54]wrong
[6:55]way got lucky it was a turned around I
[6:59]got my Jeep very dirty dirt road means
[7:02]lots of
[7:03]dust it's dusted
[7:09]now she's going to need a car wash
[7:15]Brian um when I got fuel today I noticed
[7:19]there was a truck car wash there the
[7:21]truck's T and I learned about those from
[7:24]AI just the other day so I'm going to do
[7:27]that soon too I think
[7:30]I'm just somewhere along the way if I
[7:32]find a pilot or something that has those
[7:34]wash the RV get my Jeep
[7:40]washed it's a big
[7:43]Park it's difficult to find my
[7:45]particular Loop which they call a
[7:47]campground I find that so weird but I
[7:50]guess I'll get used to that
[7:52]lingo
[7:55]um bit misleading because the picture of
[7:58]my site had I had a lake in the
[8:01]background there's no Lake here um
[8:03]there's a lake somewhere but it's not
[8:06]here bit
[8:09]misleading but it was a pull through
[8:11]site I was happy about that cuz I really
[8:13]didn't want to deal
[8:15]with
[8:16]um having to detach my Jeep in the road
[8:19]and all of that stuff before you can
[8:22]even like put your RV in your
[8:24]spot it's nice when you can just pull in
[8:27]get everything hooked out take your Jeep
[8:29]unhook it Jeep and just do your you
[8:33]know day and a half we're here it's like
[8:36]90 something so
[8:39]hot insufferable weather and it's
[8:43]midt I don't know if that's normal I
[8:45]guess it probably
[8:46]is looking forward to October that's for
[8:50]sure and I have neighbors of course
[8:54]these are not bad sites
[8:57]they're um pretty nice I like the way
[9:01]they like they've got a bunch of bushes
[9:03]between us and everyone else that's
[9:06]that's smart our park should do
[9:24]that so AI tells me that's flexible
[9:27]tubing and that there's probably a
[9:29]electrical wires and or my water pipes
[9:33]and I'll have to cut that little piece
[9:34]that's broken then inspect it and
[9:37]there's different ways of sealing it so
[9:39]I knew this would be a Shakedown trip
[9:41]you know here to the Pacific Northwest
[9:43]things are going to happen and I'm going
[9:45]to learn some new skills so you know
[9:47]what I'm doing
[9:49]tomorrow I wonder how long this will
[9:51]take um feel like there's two spots
[9:54]though I don't know how I
[9:56]would I don't know I got to think about
[9:58]it I would think about it on on video
[10:01]with you but you guys always
[10:02]misunderstand that
[10:04]so
[10:05]yeah so we're here in
[10:08]Kansas um Friday and then Sunday two
[10:13]different campgrounds heading west
[10:15]through
[10:16]Kansas then Tuesday I'll be in Nebraska
[10:21]tonight I'm just going to work on my RV
[10:23]on the inside there's some organizing
[10:25]and um just some stuff like that I want
[10:29]want to get
[10:30]done and tomorrow I might work on that
[10:33]um water issue I'm not too worried about
[10:36]it yet but I will deal with it so we'll
[10:39]see I don't know yet ba just crying out
[10:42]his frustrations
[10:44]because he wants to go and explore and
[10:47]he knows he
[10:49]can't but at least he's outside with me
[10:52]he will learn you will learn Bailey
Summary
rswfire drives from Missouri into Kansas, observing the landscape change to wheat and corn fields while commenting on impatient drivers who dangerously pass his RV. He arrives at a Kansas state park campground after GPS sends him down a wrong dirt road, getting his Jeep dusty. At the campsite, he discovers water leaks in his RV's flexible tubing that will need repair. He sets up at a pull-through site in hot weather, noting the campground layout and planning to work on RV maintenance. He discusses how traditional static living patterns are not conducive to good life, contrasting this with his nomadic lifestyle. His travel plan includes staying in Kansas Friday through Sunday, then heading to Nebraska on Tuesday.
