[4:27]I don't know what to do about that
[4:40]right
[5:03]she looks healthy but kind of
[5:05]thin I don't know if it's that's normal

[5:19]normal I don't know what to do
[5:22]Mama I'm not sure what to
[5:25]do your kids are a little bit away from
[5:28]you now
[5:30]there's nowhere to really
[5:32]go come over
[5:35]here I can come over here in this
[5:42]corner sounds pretty
[5:44]close they must be on the
[5:53]trail I'm completely harmless I can't I
[5:56]can't speak for the other people
[6:01]yep I see him coming
[6:06]now this could be a
[6:08]problem I'll go deal with them
[6:14]okay I don't know what I mean they're
[6:16]just hanging out their mom is quite far
[6:19]away so she's way over there
[6:22]somewhere I don't know if they're
[6:24]waiting for a mom to be like let to go
[6:26]or what
[6:34]I mean I don't know do I just try
[6:36]walking by
[6:39]them there is one right in the
[6:42]path I cannot get around this is not the
[6:45]train for
[6:47]that can I get around you guys would
[6:50]that be
[6:52]possible we've been here for like 30
[6:56]minutes can I get around you guys
[7:02]can I just go past
[7:05]you would that be all
[7:07]right you're so tiny you're so
[7:12]cute I don't want to disturb you but I
[7:15]got to get
[7:16]by can I get
[7:19]by your mom is over
[7:21]there I want to go see
[7:26]her am I too close is that way shaking
[7:30]like
[7:31]that or is that that fly bothering
[7:38]you yeah I'm not walking by you I will
[7:43]wait I will
[7:47]wait can you come this
[7:49]way your mom's over here
[7:59]he's like
[8:02]whatever oh she is way over
[8:05]here still
[8:08]eating guess we're hanging out for a
[8:11]while do you know how profound this is
[8:13]we are sharing a space with these deer
[8:15]right now it's like we have a space in
[8:18]their lives at this moment we're just
[8:21]we're inhabiting the same
[8:24]space she's right over there she's
[8:27]watching me I'm just out you guys have
[8:30]me blocked in now they're on both sides
[8:33]of the trail I am stopped here I don't
[8:37]know what to
[8:40]do I'm stuck here I I guess I could walk
[8:44]up there if that will get you guys
[8:47]moving I'm thinking the little babies
[8:49]have to stay on the
[8:52]trail that doesn't make a lot of sense
[8:56]though but maybe I mean the just depends
[9:00]on the terrain I don't
[9:04]know she's paying attention to her kids
[9:08]listening to the little noises they
[9:19]make I'm kind of stuck here I don't know
[9:23]what to do she's sitting there chewing
[9:24]her food it's so
[9:28]adorable oh
[9:30]my that is so cool look at
[9:34]you you are so
[9:38]chill
[9:45]wow they're just sitting down there
[9:48]right in the
[9:51]PA you know that though don't you
[10:01]I'm stuck here I've been sitting here
[10:04]for an hour and some
[10:06]humans um are getting in the way are
[10:09]coming down the the path so the little
[10:11]deer are trying to move
[10:13]now
[10:15]so I think that they'll come past me I'm
[10:18]completely harmless
[10:20]guys completely
[10:26]harmless it's okay
[10:31]hi hi there hi you're very
[10:36]pretty you're very
[10:39]pretty don't worry about me I'm right
[10:41]here I'm not moving I
[10:44]promise I'm not
[10:47]moving it's
[10:50]okay it's okay your mom's over
[10:55]there they're
[10:57]reunited that's a wonderful
[11:01]site that was truly one of the coolest
[11:03]experiences of my
[11:05]life that was just so so profound I
[11:09]don't have words for it I must have been
[11:12]there for an hour just inhabiting the
[11:15]same space as
[11:17]them trying to understand
[11:21]like if they
[11:23]were choosing to to be where they were
[11:27]or if I was an obstacle or what you know
[11:29]like I was just just trying to show that
[11:32]I'm not a threat
[11:35]and really enjoying watching them
[11:37]because that was so cool that was so
[11:43]cool amazing that it was we came near it
[11:47]I might have gone that way that's where
[11:49]I just came from that's where the deer
[11:51]were and that's the way back to the
[11:53]visitor center I can't recall if we went
[11:55]this way yesterday but I would like to
[11:57]see the Scenic Overlook and and then we
[11:59]can go down to whatever the spring
[12:02]is it could be fun but I'm just I can't
[12:05]recall did we come to this Overlook over
[12:09]here feels like a thing that would do
[12:15]uhoh you definitely want to be mindful
[12:17]in the
[12:18]forest that is interesting timing what a
[12:21]wonderful day what a wonderful
[12:28]day for
Summary
rswfire encounters a mother deer and two babies on a forest trail, spending approximately an hour waiting and observing as the deer family blocks the path. He speaks gently to the animals, expressing concern about disturbing them while needing to pass. The deer appear calm around his presence, with the babies eventually reuniting with their mother. He describes this as one of the most profound experiences of his life, emphasizing the shared inhabitation of space between human and wildlife. After the encounter, he continues toward a scenic overlook, reflecting on the wonderful nature of the day.
