[1:14]me I'm going to try to get her out this

[1:21]just waking up I need food and coffee so

[1:23]we're going to the gas station and we're

[1:25]going to go hiking this

[1:33]that probably going to have to go to

[1:34]Walmart to get some flee spray that I

[1:37]can use around the RV and then we'll

[1:40]check Luna because we need to find I'm

[1:42]going to use a flea comb on her today

[1:58]Sam 5 ago I made the decision to move

[2:01]into an

[2:02]RV at the same time I started a YouTube

[2:05]channel and I've been posting about my

[2:08]life every single day um since

[2:11]then it took me about uh a couple of

[2:13]weeks to actually buy an RV a couple

[2:15]more weeks and actually moved out of my

[2:17]house and I have been on the road ever

[2:19]since I've been

[2:21]to uh one state park twice and two

[2:24]different uh core of engineer places

[2:27]I've been at the one I'm at now for

[2:28]almost 90 days I move next week and then

[2:31]I'll be moving every two weeks after

[2:33]that this

[2:34]was uh kind of a unique situation where

[2:37]I was trying to get used to this

[2:38]lifestyle but we'll talk about all of

[2:41]that the park is quite empty and out and

[2:44]it's the weekend today is Saturday

[2:46]there's basically nobody

[2:49]here um so I feel like The Season's

[2:52]finally over you

[2:54]know I'm told there will be one last

[2:57]harah when Labor Day comes AI told me

[3:00]that which of course I figured that much

[3:03]but you know that's going to be the last

[3:05]time for the season that we have to deal

[3:08]with big crowds I'm not not really into

[3:12]that I like my solitude so I've been

[3:15]very happy about this

[3:19]um it's just going to keep getting

[3:21]better too you know we gra my shower bag

[3:25]I took it out of the RV and meant to put

[3:27]it in my Jeep with my trash and I got my

[3:30]shower bag I have to go back and get

[3:32]that before we head it out so I'm

[3:34]getting quite tired of the same

[3:35]breakfast sandwich every morning I've

[3:37]been doing this for like 10 days I'm

[3:39]going to try something new this

[3:41]apparently has bacon on

[3:43]it I probably shouldn't be trying to eat

[3:46]without my teeth but you know it's

[3:48]wrapped in rad so that always helps

[3:52]and haven't had bacon in a while I'm not

[3:56]awake yet wow this are pretty good it's

[4:00]only a dollar more and you get two

[4:02]sausages like two sandwiches in one

[4:05]that's a better deal I legitimately

[4:07]don't want to go hiking this morning for

[4:09]some reason I think this might be the

[4:12]last time I can go to this place though

[4:13]because I'm going to be very busy with

[4:16]practical things for the next several

[4:18]days and then I move sites Wednesday

[4:22]so last time visiting this

[4:25]place I think I just don't want to deal

[4:27]with the spider webs today honestly or

[4:29]the M we're

[4:32]here and a jogger just went in front of

[4:35]me so that person's gets to deal with

[4:40]get to the difficult topic

[4:43]now I have been trying to figure out a

[4:45]way to say this for

[4:47]months several times I've tried quitting

[4:49]YouTube and I've never

[4:51]really explained

[4:54]why and it's because I don't want to

[4:56]offend anyone I generally don't

[5:01]so I'm going to

[5:05]try I'm going to try to explain this in

[5:07]a way that might make sense without

[5:09]doing that I think that there is a

[5:11]mismatch between what I can do on this

[5:15]platform and what I'm trying to

[5:17]do I think that the majority of people

[5:20]on

[5:21]YouTube consume

[5:24]content

[5:28]almost well clearly uncritically and

[5:32]almost unconsciously it's like we're a

[5:35]bunch of zombies on our phones these

[5:37]days and we just sit there and we scroll

[5:39]and we scroll and we watch a video for a

[5:41]little while and then we get bored and

[5:43]we move on to the next video and we keep

[5:45]doing that over and over and over

[5:48]again and you don't ever truly take

[5:50]anything

[5:54]in and

[5:57]that's I find that deeply

[6:00]problematic for society as it's a

[6:02]systemic

[6:04]issue

[6:06]and very disappointing because I spent 5

[6:08]months sharing my life on here in

[6:11]Intimate

[6:13]detail and I thought I was building

[6:15]something else here but the situ

[6:18]situation with

[6:20]Luna made me realize I hadn't I had been

[6:23]sensing that I hadn't which is why I

[6:26]kept trying to quit

[6:27]YouTube but the situation with Luna

[6:30]really crystallized it for

[6:32]me we're talking about a little kitten 6

[6:36]weeks old who had four kinds of

[6:37]parasites in her blood who are eating

[6:39]all the oxygen in her body giving her

[6:41]anemia covered in fleas

[6:45]hungry

[6:47]abandoned

[6:49]desperate and I took her in out of the

[6:52]kindness of my heart that was my

[6:55]choice and then I asked my my viewers to

[6:58]help because I need the help and it

[7:02]didn't have to be Financial a share

[7:04]would have been

[7:05]enough but I I know that didn't happen

[7:08]because because of the

[7:10]views and you know I am a programmer I

[7:13]understand

[7:14]technology I can look at my analytics

[7:16]and see where people are referred from

[7:19]to that

[7:21]video my viewers did nothing for

[7:24]me and that broke my

[7:27]heart you guys broke my heart

[7:30]I don't want to share my life with

[7:32]people I don't think share my

[7:34]values it's possible you do share my

[7:37]values but you didn't Express them in

[7:39]this

[7:40]case

[7:44]and that means that there's a

[7:46]fundamental

[7:47]misalignment between the purpose of this

[7:50]Channel and the people watching

[7:53]me so we're going to do something

[7:56]new I'm moving on my daily content to

[8:00]patreon it'll still be free I'm not

[8:03]putting up a pay wall behind

[8:05]it it'll be a much smaller

[8:08]Community

[8:13]community there a true

[8:15]community of people who give a who

[8:17]care about each other who just want the

[8:20]best for each other who are trying to

[8:23]make a better world because we need to

[8:25]be doing
