[0:01]good morning fellow humans I apologize
[0:03]for the lighting just bear with me this
[0:05]will be a short intro and then you know
[0:09]the video keep going on and will be
[0:11]somewhere else so but it's 3:00 in the
[0:14]morning and I just wanted to say good
[0:17]morning and
[0:19]I've had a new
[0:22]realization I was thinking that my
[0:25]trouble sleeping
[0:27]was product of being in that RV but
[0:30]that's clearly not the case cuz I'm
[0:32]still not
[0:33]sleeping I came to this cabin hoping
[0:36]that I'd finally get some real sleep
[0:38]some deep sleep and I'm not getting that
[0:41]so have to conclude it's something else
[0:45]I think it's just
[0:47]this stage of my life that I'm in right
[0:50]now
[0:51]because um I went to bed at 10 it took
[0:54]me a while to fall asleep but then I was
[0:56]dreaming and my conscious mind was still
[1:00]active like it knew I was streaming
[1:02]so
[1:05]um I guess I'm just going to have to
[1:08]tolerate whatever I'm going through you
[1:10]know
[1:11]and let the process play out cuz there's
[1:14]really nothing else to be done in my
[1:17]opinion um I did get more sleep
[1:21]yesterday because I was able to take a
[1:23]nap after um between like some of my
[1:27]videos I I made quite a few yesterday I
[1:30]I was able to take a nap so hopefully
[1:33]that's enough I'm just going to get up
[1:35]now I'm going to make some eggs
[1:39]and um prepare my backpack for our hike
[1:42]today and then we've got a whole day of
[1:47]hiking all right time to make some
[1:49]breakfast I'm going to just paste up on
[1:52]the screen what the weather's going to
[1:53]be today because it's going to be
[1:55]challenging and I just want to note that
[1:57]I know that uh the trail is going to be
[2:00]challenging already to begin with cuz it
[2:02]is a difficult Trail and I'm not sure
[2:06]how long it's been I think it could be
[2:08]10 years since I've been on this Trail
[2:10]but I used to hike this Trail every
[2:12]weekend I've gotten lost on that trail
[2:14]with a friend once it was dark by the
[2:17]time we got out I broke my camera back
[2:19]then falling into a creek cuz I didn't
[2:21]see it
[2:22]there um it's not a well marked Trail
[2:26]it's very rugged it goes up into the
[2:28]mountains there's some very beautiful
[2:30]views
[2:31]so and I think that this just
[2:36]um
[2:38]it it's kind of like my internal state
[2:41]right now I'm in a very turbulent state
[2:43]where I'm just going through this
[2:45]intense Evolution
[2:47]and um my external world is going to
[2:50]match my internal world today so let's
[2:52]see where that takes us I guess I should
[2:55]just know so you know there's going to
[2:57]be rain and thunderstorms all day I
[2:58]didn't bring my GoPro stuff didn't bring
[3:01]my new camera cuz I don't know how to
[3:02]use it yet it's got so many buttons and
[3:04]things on it is is not a point and click
[3:06]thing so um just got my phone I'm going
[3:09]to try to you know I got to keep my
[3:11]stuff from getting too
[3:13]wet
[3:15]um but I'm going to do my best I really
[3:18]want to document this Bailey's over here
[3:20]playing he doesn't play that much these
[3:23]days it's not his
[3:24]style but he's look at him you're so
[3:28]cute Bailey
[3:30]you're so cute you're cute so I'm making
[3:33]coffee and I'm going to make eggs and
[3:35]toast and maybe just warm up some ham
[3:38]with it don't have any sugar I only got
[3:41]one packet they didn't you know they
[3:43]they left some of these here um for you
[3:46]know but there weren't very many I had
[3:48]coffee yesterday I didn't think to get
[3:50]sugar but I'm just going to make de
[3:52]still waking up normally I have three
[3:55]eggs when I make them um but I'm going
[3:58]for four today because you know I got a
[4:00]long day ahead of me I don't I won't
[4:02]have anything on the trail with me I
[4:03]don't think unless I can find something
[4:07]um on the way which that's not very
[4:10]likely um I haven't had fried eggs since
[4:13]I embarked on this journey because I
[4:15]don't have any way to cook them so I
[4:17]always have to scramble them in the
[4:18]microwave and um that's pretty much it
[4:22]so I'm going to try to make scrambled
[4:24]eggs wait I'm not trying I'm trying to
[4:26]make fried eggs I don't know why yeah
[4:28]I'm I'm not awake all right this is the
[4:31]closest thing I could find to a
[4:33]spatula probably not wise to do this
[4:36]with with one hand um well I could only
[4:40]use one hand anyways I'm just you know
[4:42]while holding my camera here but we're
[4:43]going to give this a try and I'm no
[4:46]expert but we're going to give this a
[4:53]try bailing stop
[4:57]that Jesus I can't
[5:01]all right that's okay they're still you
[5:03]know they are what they are those ones
[5:05]weren't cooking so well
[5:07]so um they're still basically fried so
[5:10]I'm going to enjoy these all right o
[5:13]don't look so bad get some ham going now
[5:15]I'll get my toast going cooking is not a
[5:18]skill I ever developed but I'll keep
[5:20]trying you know for however many years
[5:22]it takes cuz I'm not doing a whole lot
[5:24]of cooking my RV either
[5:26]but
[5:28]um didn't think to take butter out and
[5:30]melt that like overnight or something so
[5:32]I probably won't have any butter on my
[5:34]toast
[5:35]but H that's okay I'd say we ought to
[5:40]try that toast again guess whoever was
[5:42]here last really likes burnt toast so I
[5:45]got my coffee it's actually pretty
[5:50]good one sugar one Stevia cuz I need a
[5:53]little bit more sweet in there
[5:56]this um this is what they just had here
[6:00]that's really good Duncan original blend
[6:02]Lake I don't need Starbucks this is
[6:04]really good I had it yesterday I really
[6:06]liked it yesterday too
[6:09]so yeah all right breakfast is served
[6:14]I'm going to try to um get a little bit
[6:16]of butter on there you know um maybe its
[6:19]Essence will get on there if you guys
[6:22]have advice on how
[6:23]to you know do something like this the
[6:26]butter situation I didn't want to put in
[6:28]the microwave cuz there aren't any place
[6:29]here so um maybe there's some secret
[6:33]maybe you can put it in like hot water
[6:37]or something I don't
[6:38]know I don't
[6:40]know that's Bailey in the window that's
[6:43]a little cabin it's very dark can't even
[6:46]show you the Stars on this thing so
[6:50]really ah there I
[6:53]am so I just want to acknowledge I'm a
[6:55]little nervous I haven't done anything
[6:58]like this in quite a long time and I
[6:59]just need to know if I
[7:01]can I'm trying to be as prepared as I
[7:03]can and
[7:05]just EMB rce this we're not far from
[7:09]where I'm going so and it looks like
[7:12]it's 15 minutes away and the sun rises
[7:14]in an hour so we're going to be a little
[7:16]bit early but I'll just hang out there
[7:20]so I think what's making me nervous is
[7:22]just cuz I know there's going to be
[7:23]thunderstorms today they are later in
[7:25]the day we might actually be close to
[7:27]the end of the trail by the time they
[7:29]happen but it's going to be raining all
[7:31]day I've never hiked the trail in those
[7:33]conditions and I'm just more cutely
[7:35]aware of weather now since moving into
[7:37]my RV I know that tree branches fall all
[7:41]over the place like they're
[7:43]constantly I mean it's just I don't need
[7:46]that stuff falling on me right so you
[7:48]got to be real aware of your
[7:49]surroundings
[7:51]and
[7:53]um but I'm here and I want to do this I
[7:56]need to do this so I'm just going to be
[8:00]cautious and you know
[8:04]just just going to be cautious we're
[8:07]just going to head down to the lake
[8:08]while we wait for
[8:10]Sunrise we have a little Lake
[8:13]here it's been a while since I've been
[8:15]down there I don't remember how to get
[8:17]down there so we got to go find
[8:19]it spent many times at this
[8:22]Lodge I always love this rock wall here
[8:25]it's very pretty um generally this is
[8:28]where you start just go past the lodge
[8:30]and there's the original Trails back
[8:32]there I think that might be how you get
[8:35]down to the lake too though those are
[8:37]the rooms
[8:38]there um they're not anything special
[8:41]nothing to write home about but it's a
[8:43]place to stay at the Natural
[8:45]Bridge it's coming up we're just going
[8:47]to hang out here until the sun comes out
[8:50]main Trail's over here it's still dark
Summary
rswfire wakes at 3 AM in a mountain cabin, unable to sleep despite changing locations from his RV. He realizes his sleep issues are related to his current life stage rather than his living situation. He prepares breakfast (eggs, toast, ham, coffee) while discussing an upcoming challenging mountain trail hike in expected rainy and stormy weather. He expresses nervousness about hiking a difficult, poorly marked trail he hasn't been on in approximately 10 years, acknowledging weather awareness developed since living in his RV. The transmission shows him cooking breakfast, preparing for the day, and heading toward the trailhead with his dog Bailey to wait for sunrise at a lodge near Natural Bridge.
