[0:00]hello so I had a different video planned
[0:03]for today I've been working on getting
[0:05]organized in here and I'm like 98 99%
[0:08]there I've been um we had really hot
[0:12]weather yesterday it was so hot it got
[0:14]85 degrees in here so today I went this
[0:16]morning I went to Lowe's and got some
[0:17]things to put reflecti on the windows
[0:19]and I was just going to show you
[0:20]everything I've been doing with that and
[0:23]then I'm playing another video where I'm
[0:25]just going to take you on a tour of my
[0:26]camper now that I'm organized but the
[0:29]weather's not cooperating ing instead of
[0:30]being super hot today it is just
[0:32]thundering and there's tornado warnings
[0:34]and there's no power and it's been like
[0:36]this for hours and
[0:37]hours so I just thought I would share
[0:40]with
[0:41]you kind of what that feels like I guess
[0:44]it's interesting so one of the updates I
[0:46]want to give is that I'm really going to
[0:49]get into cooking very soon I've been
[0:51]chatting with chat GPT
[0:54]for well for days on this I ordered a
[0:57]bunch of stuff from Amazon I'll never
[0:59]have to use my Pro tank so really happy
[1:01]about that I'll still fill it you know I
[1:03]think that's important to fill it but I
[1:06]I don't even want to cook that way I
[1:08]just just that's not how I want to do it
[1:10]so um I'm getting some things like I'm
[1:13]getting a portable charcoal grill um and
[1:16]then some electrical devices that like
[1:19]do induction heating and then an
[1:21]electric
[1:22]skillet some other things that chat GPT
[1:26]recommended and I just made this chat
[1:28]with it that said look teach me to cook
[1:31]and if there's something I want to make
[1:32]it will teach me step by step what tools
[1:34]to use just down to the little
[1:37]nitty-gritty details that you don't even
[1:39]get in like a cooking book because I am
[1:41]a true novice I thought this was
[1:44]important because I need to be
[1:46]self-reliant right and when I start H
[1:50]traveling
[1:51]west I'm going to be boondocking a lot
[1:54]so I won't have electricity but it will
[1:55]work with my solar power uh I you know I
[1:58]made sure of that I don't know how well
[1:59]we're going to test that while we're
[2:01]here we're going to do a lot while we're
[2:02]here it's all about getting prepared for
[2:04]this this
[2:05]pilgrimage and I'm going to make a lot
[2:07]of videos just showing me cooking stuff
[2:10]because it might be entertaining but I
[2:13]also think it'll be awesome because I'm
[2:14]going to make some really good
[2:15]nutritious food gu I picked a good day
[2:18]for this we lost power here there's a
[2:20]bad storm starting my tent was
[2:23]like seriously big wind gust so I had to
[2:27]secure that better um you know just
[2:31]secured my stuff outside and I'm getting
[2:32]back to this but there's no power and
[2:36]tornadoes in the late morning and early
[2:38]afternoon some thunderstorms May produce
[2:41]damaging winds large hail tornadoes and
[2:44]heavy rainfall late in the afternoon
[2:47]tonight partly cloudy with chance of
[2:49]thunderstorms until midnight then
[2:51]showers with thunderstorms likely after
[2:54]midnight some thunderstorms May produce
[2:57]heavy
[2:58]rainfall for your protection move to an
[3:00]interior room on the lowest floor of a
[3:03]building torrential rainfall is
[3:05]occurring with this storm and may lead
[3:07]to flash flooding do not drive your
[3:10]vehicle through flooded
[3:12]roadways a tornado watch remains in
[3:14]effect until 400 p.m. eastern Daylight
[3:16]time for Central Kentucky so they're
[3:19]warning about flash flooding and I'm
[3:20]actually on a lake I haven't seen the
[3:22]lake but I know it's here
[3:24]somewhere learning some things I guess I
[3:28]could turn some lights on you know I I I
[3:30]have a not only do I have my solar but I
[3:34]have the thing that I plug my desktop
[3:37]and basically all of my stuff into and
[3:40]it has a power supply of its
[3:42]own I use that to get on the
[3:45]internet so I could let my mom know
[3:47]what's going
[3:48]on and you know then I turn it off to
[3:52]conserve it so I'm just kind of thinking
[3:55]through what I should be doing to
[3:57]prepare um for for situ uations like
[4:01]this I'm not sure where the safest place
[4:03]would be in here I was thinking the cab
[4:06]area but you know a lot of Windows up
[4:08]there so probably not probably next to
[4:10]my bed just like in the center of the
[4:12]camp room maybe
[4:15]so if something were to happen I'd be
[4:17]grabbing this cat and I guess you know
[4:21]you got to think about this in
[4:23]advance I got my little no radio I I do
[4:27]suggest you guys get one of those if you
[4:28]do this LIF out it's awesome you know
[4:31]it's got an antenna it can it
[4:33]can um charge itself through solar you
[4:37]know it basically will work anywhere and
[4:38]and it just has a weather band so that
[4:41]you can always find out what's going on
[4:42]with
[4:44]that I think Bailey's okay you
[4:47]definitely want to be calm cuz you know
[4:50]they sense that sort of
[4:52]thing
[4:53]um but you know have your stuff powered
[4:56]up you know charged up and
[5:01]I don't have any food that that I could
[5:03]eat that you know without cooking it so
[5:06]I guess that's another thing you want to
[5:07]think
[5:08]about cuz I haven't even eaten
[5:11]today no power so you know probably just
[5:15]going to read my Kindle I just started
[5:17]reading Game of Thrones
[5:20]again really not much else to
[5:23]do I could have just removed that reflec
[5:25]to so much more light that way Ba's just
[5:28]hanging out with me
[5:30]we're fine I'm sure we'll be fine they
[5:33]should tell you what they're saying so
[5:35]wind GS up to 90 M hour the torrential
[5:39]rain that's the expression they
[5:41]use um thunderstorms and they've been
[5:44]spotted in a couple areas they're saying
[5:46]tornado warning I think I'm not sure
[5:49]about this area a lot of the counties
[5:51]it's actually where I used to live so my
[5:54]parents are in Michigan right now I'm
[5:55]going to check on their place and their
[5:57]cat tomorrow they took Oliver with them
[5:59]to
[6:01]Michigan um but their other cat Luca is
[6:03]at home so I'm just going to check on
[6:05]that you know tomorrow morning just to
[6:07]make sure that everything's good
[6:09]there
[6:11]um I don't know I guess
[6:14]just I mean there's not much you can do
[6:17]right so just going to read a book there
[6:20]three tornado watches right
[6:23]now but I don't know what county I'm in
[6:25]so that's another thing make sure you
[6:26]know what county you're in that's an
[6:28]important thing to know
[6:30]so that's how I secured my power box I
[6:32]think I did a pretty good
[6:34]job so quite a few campers left today
[6:37]and I was surprised cuz tomorrow's
[6:38]Memorial Day and you would have thought
[6:40]that they would have stayed till then
[6:41]right they obviously knew about the
[6:44]weather I got to get better about that
[6:46]cuz this isn't the first time I've said
[6:48]that where you just need to know what's
[6:49]the weather going to be like I know I
[6:51]say I chat with chat gbt a lot and
[6:53]that's because it's true I was just
[6:55]thinking about it you know that thing
[6:58]just helps me all the time it helps me
[7:00]with lots of things so I think other
[7:03]people probably acquire information from
[7:05]watching YouTube right so but that's not
[7:08]how I do it like if I need to know
[7:10]something I don't search for it on
[7:12]YouTube I just ask CH gbt it gives me
[7:14]the answer and then I can have a
[7:15]conversation with it and you know if I
[7:18]have questions or I think it's a way
[7:20]more efficient way honestly I'm thinking
[7:23]they must turn the power off on purpose
[7:25]you know just as a precaution I have a
[7:27]Sur protector but I know not every
[7:29]everyone does so maybe that's why they
[7:30]do it may they just turn the power off
[7:34]cuz it seems to it seems to happen
[7:35]everywhere I go and it is always you
[7:38]know during weather like this I mean
[7:40]maybe they just turn it off sure what's
[7:42]up with this cat here he seems pretty
[7:45]happy he's
[7:46]purring I don't think he's
[7:48]worried just wants
[7:51]attention right he want
[7:55]attention a little inconvenient because
[7:57]I was going to fix my bed today after I
[8:00]finished with the reflecti I was doing I
[8:02]bought these 1 in I'm not sure what they
[8:06]are I'll get it wrong some kind of high
[8:09]it's not high density foam it's harder
[8:11]than that I don't know what it is but I
[8:13]think it'll work I think it is exactly
[8:15]what I needed to fix this stupid b so
[8:18]I'm really looking forward to that we've
[8:20]been without power for too long so I
[8:22]decided to turn the blue W on and plug
[8:24]my traveli Wi-Fi into it so I can at
[8:26]least get some internet I've got 80 3%
[8:30]battery life imagine that'll last quite
[8:32]a
[8:34]while this is a cool
[8:37]screen I don't really understand all I
[8:39]have is my router hooked up to it so I
[8:41]don't think that uses 120
[8:45]volts I don't know I don't know what it
[8:47]means I was hoping it could give me an
[8:50]estimate of how long it will last for
[8:52]I'll have to look at it probably can
[8:54]right so but it should last a long time
[8:57]it's a lot of battery for just the
[8:59]little router looks like we have two
[9:01]more hours of this there's a tornado
[9:03]watch and it just says rain and then for
[9:07]the next hour Thunder and then the hour
[9:09]after that it drops to 80% chance and
[9:11]then 30% chance hour after that so
[9:15]within 3 or 4 hours this should
[9:17]hopefully we'll have power again I've
[9:20]been busy though I've even in the dark
[9:22]it's pretty dark in here I'm this is the
[9:24]only place I've got any
[9:26]light that reflector is real great at
[9:28]that too
[9:30]but I've been I've been getting so
[9:33]organized here like like yesterday and
[9:36]today I've just I don't think there's
[9:38]not much left for me to do I I'm looking
[9:40]forward to showing you
[9:42]guys my bathroom is perfectly organized
[9:45]I have these shelves that are a whole
[9:47]bunch of stuff I you'll
[9:49]see there's not much left for me to do I
[9:52]was going to fix my bad next my back is
[9:55]killing me like and I've never had back
[9:59]pain in my life so this bed is just
[10:01]killing me I I don't understand that I
[10:04]replace the bed right
[10:06]but just has to be right where right
[10:09]here is just 1 in gap whole thing
[10:14]so it's a very uncomfortable bed but I
[10:16]got something to fix that I just it's
[10:19]got to be dry out cuz I got to cut stuff
[10:21]with
[10:22]um you know whatever those um not
[10:27]scissors you know razor blade but that's
[10:29]a certain kind of razor blade I don't
[10:31]know what they're called that's so sad
[10:34]xacto knife I guess it's kind of like
[10:37]one but yeah so I just got to wait I
[10:44]guess one and a half months of not
[10:47]sleeping you know 4 to 6 hours a night
[10:49]that's it cuz this bed is that
[10:51]uncomfortable $8,000 for this freaking
[10:55]camper and Forest River and probably
[10:58]every other manufacturer in the RV World
[11:01]puts the worst possible bad possible in
[11:04]these
[11:08]things it's
[11:10]unbelievable I do need to learn
[11:12]everything I can about my solar if it
[11:15]can be hooked up to my camper you know
[11:17]all of that
[11:19]like what I can run with it for how long
[11:22]just everything I need to know the
[11:24]details and I need to learn that while
[11:25]I'm here before I leave for Nevada
[11:28]before I start my
[11:31]pilgrimage I'm going to know
[11:33]everything about everything I need to
[11:35]know hopefully chat gbt says I can do it
[11:38]all I have to do is just use an AC
[11:40]outlet and plug it in just like I would
[11:42]to you know sh part my house or
[11:44]something so we'll try that we'll see
[11:47]how that goes see if I can run the
[11:48]microwave with AC whatever probably not
[11:50]for like a great amount of time I'm
[11:52]guessing but it' be good to know what I
[11:55]can do with it I do have out side of the
[12:00]outside of my camper there's some
[12:03]there's a solar hookup I don't know I'm
[12:05]going to have to look at I don't know
[12:06]what the connection looks like but I
[12:08]think all that does is charge the
[12:09]batteries which so that means running
[12:12]the 12vt systems guess I could run the
[12:14]12vt systems that
[12:17]way that would be cool right um I might
[12:21]charge the batteries too I don't know
[12:23]you know the camper
[12:25]batteries I have a lot to learn I do I
[12:28]never worried about weather when I lived
[12:30]in a
[12:31]house and I was thinking about it you
[12:33]know that's
[12:34]probably a false like sense of
[12:37]security cuz things happen to people all
[12:40]the time entire enre town
[12:44]sometimes nobody really expects it to
[12:46]happen to them I keep thinking that it's
[12:49]like you know it can happen to me can
[12:51]happen to anybody but when you live in a
[12:55]camper you are closer to the elements
[12:57]and it just
[12:59]it
[13:02]feels well it feels scarier
[13:05]honestly there's nothing really
[13:07]happening it's just rain I love rain so
[13:11]I don't know what it is like I guess all
[13:13]the warnings all that stuff on the Noah
[13:15]weather station
[13:18]and everybody leaving you know a lot of
[13:20]people leaving on
[13:23]everybody just feels different somehow
[13:26]but you know maybe it's should feel this
[13:29]way in the house
[13:30]too cuz you really never do
[13:35]know yeah
