[0:25]I'm enjoying this just getting my camper

[0:28]together cuz like I just want to be

[0:30]living in there with my cats uh a couple

[0:33]of things I didn't mention in the video

[0:36]so I've now insulated the kitchen area

[0:39]and the living area I need to do my

[0:42]bedroom area I'm noticing that there's

[0:45]cold drafts coming from the cab and from

[0:48]the

[0:49]door and also that floor is just super

[0:53]cold like you know I've been sitting on

[0:54]it a lot as I've been working and it's

[0:56]just very cold and I don't know what I

[0:58]can really do about that except just get

[1:00]some

[1:01]rugs um and hope for the best I guess so

[1:12]a.m. here I've had a new idea about how

[1:14]I'm going to insulate this so I'm going

[1:16]to pull this out too and then I'm going

[1:19]to wrap both sides of the cardboard in

[1:21]reflec tis and then I'm just going to

[1:22]slip that in here first and then I'll

[1:25]insulate it with the pink

[1:27]stuff and then I can go on the outside

[1:29]of the camper cuz this is a door and if

[1:32]there's any like Gap there I can just

[1:35]insulate that probably with pink

[1:36]insulation also and then I'll just put

[1:38]another layer of cardboard right here at

[1:40]the

[1:41]end I did some measurements and I

[1:44]discovered that one of my tables in the

[1:46]house will fit perfectly in this space I

[1:48]just needed to order some bar stools so

[1:50]I have somewhere to set and I think

[1:53]that'll make a nice nice cozy area here

[1:56]so I'm getting

[1:57]started hey everyone so here's my first

[2:00]um layer of double-sided reflec dicks

[2:04]it's really nice I will need to make

[2:06]another one cuz I'm going to put one

[2:08]here then the pink instulation and then

[2:10]and then the next one uh my technique's

[2:12]improving too I've noticed that before I

[2:15]had to make little strips of this reflec

[2:17]tape just so that I didn't get it all

[2:18]tangled up but now I've learned how to

[2:20]do it efficiently so your skills really

[2:23]do improve the more you do it I'm going

[2:25]to slide this in here now and see how it

[2:27]looks okay so it's in this middle board

[2:31]was a real nice tight vence a little bit

[2:33]harder to get in there this the

[2:36]sideboards are not and there's a little

[2:39]bit of a gap not sure I guess because I

[2:41]was just measuring this this front part

[2:43]here when I did this the first

[2:45]time I don't know I'll figure it out

[2:48]this is just part of the process part of

[2:50]learning so I think I understand now I

[2:53]was measuring for the length of this

[2:55]door behind it and not the whole wall

[2:59]this is my new new home guys I live here

[3:10]when the side is out is completely

[3:13]exposed to the outside I'm going to put

[3:16]a layer of reflec up there or maybe

[3:18]rboard I'm not sure yet and then I'm

[3:21]just covered in some kind of a cloth I

[3:23]think that's very important if you can

[3:25]insulate it you should

[3:27]try okay let's try this

[4:06]took two rolls of reflective tape

[4:09]fortunately I bought five but I didn't

[4:12]think I'd be going through it that

[4:14]fast all right so the hardest part here

[4:17]is getting the cardboard in there

[4:19]without kind of

[4:20]smushing this and you know you want to

[4:23]keep it as covered as you can I'm not

[4:26]quite sure I'm going to handle it but

[4:28]I'm going to try to maybe just I guess

[4:32]one-sided um reflecti and then the

[4:35]cardboard you know or just I guess we

[4:37]just try

[4:39]that so one thing about me I don't like

[4:43]taking shortcuts that's why I pulled out

[4:45]this out if I tried to do a shortcut

[4:48]right now I will be doing that again in

[4:50]a couple weeks my rule is if you feel

[4:54]like you need to take a shortcut take a

[4:56]break instead I don't even let my devs

[4:59]take shortcut C in our programming

[5:03]quick note about this just so you know

[5:05]just how silly I am I had this thing

[5:08]upside down for months and that's why it

[5:12]was leaking so by the time I got to the

[5:15]very last side of the very last board I

[5:19]had to use

[5:20]scraps all over it and this is all I've

[5:24]got left that is it and it goes there

[5:29]and then and we're

[5:32]done so there it is it's all

[5:35]done I am super happy and very

[5:39]proud it took a lot longer than I care

[5:41]to admit it's 10:00 a.m. I started at

[5:44]6:00 so it took 4 hours I used four and

[5:47]1/2 tapes of reflecti tape I went

[5:50]through all of my

[5:52]reflecti I'm going to have to go to

[5:54]Lowe's in order to get more in order to

[5:56]do the bed area as far as here the only

[5:59]other thing I want to do is I want to

[6:01]get an rboard that's a 3/4 in thick area

[6:06]right there I can just get one custom

[6:08]cut to this size and just push it in

[6:10]there and that will be you know that

[6:12]will help a lot I might insulate in here

[6:16]it's not too deep but you know it's just

[6:19]a cavity so I feel like I should as I

[6:22]was saying I might put some reflecti on

[6:24]this wall um and then just some kind of

[6:27]fabric over it so that it doesn't look

[6:29]you know Sil

[6:31]but other than that this is done I have

[6:34]plans for this area which I'm going to

[6:36]be doing next get this is going to be my

[6:38]living area my office my kitchen my just

[6:42]everything room

[6:44]basically and I'll probably do the

[6:46]bedroom tomorrow so yeah don't don't

[6:51]feel intimidated or anything this was

[6:53]just something that needed to be done

[6:55]took me 4 hours

[6:56]and super happy with it
