[0:30]intimidated I have never done anything

[0:32]like this in my life but I'm going to do

[0:34]the best that I can it's all I can

[0:37]do and if you're like me maybe you'll

[0:40]want to watch this video just to see how

[0:43]you'll feel the first time you do it

[0:46]we'll see how it turns out in the end

[0:52]what I have planned

[1:03]reflecti I'll explain what I'm going to

[1:05]do with that this goes around pipes and

[1:08]stuff but it's pretty thick I don't

[1:10]think I'm going to be able to use it

[1:12]this is reflecti tape I've got gloves

[1:16]because of this the pink instulation

[1:18]going to try to use

[1:20]R30 the only reason jat GPT said not to

[1:24]use

[1:25]it was that it's thicker and a little

[1:29]bit heavier but it didn't feel heavier

[1:30]to

[1:31]me you know so and it didn't even really

[1:35]look thicker to me I guess we'll find

[1:37]out when I open it up if it's too thick

[1:40]then I do have another roll of this

[1:43]that's

[1:44]r19 so here's what we've got this is

[1:47]what we're working with these three

[1:48]panels here in the

[1:51]kitchen and if you look

[1:55]inside the wall you can see that it will

[1:59]be an absolute challenge to get our

[2:00]board back there and it would be a

[2:02]challenge to even

[2:04]get um that reflecti back

[2:08]there

[2:11]so this stuff feels super super um

[2:15]cheap I wanted to wrap it I don't see

[2:18]how I

[2:20]can uh I kind of want to replace it but

[2:24]I I don't trust my skills enough

[2:27]yet this has that's obviously water um

[2:32]you can even see the red one there so

[2:33]that must be

[2:35]hot um you know you might have to turn

[2:38]these off sometimes so you got to be

[2:40]careful what you do in the front

[2:42]here this thing over here has little

[2:45]vents on it so you have to avoid those

[2:48]they obviously need room for

[2:50]ventilation they're also on top so I've

[2:54]got to deal with

[2:55]that um there's a very long

[3:00]um you know there's a just a long area

[3:03]back there I can reach it in the

[3:05]bathroom through a heater vent that

[3:08]looks like this and that's basically it

[3:10]I can stick my arm in there and pray

[3:12]there's nothing back there that wants to

[3:13]eat

[3:15]it so my plans are kind of out the

[3:19]window what I'm going to do is mostly

[3:23]just insulate it with pink

[3:25]insulation cuz I don't know what else I

[3:27]can really do like this is a drawer so I

[3:29]have to

[3:30]think I have to you know pretty much I

[3:32]don't even know how deep I can make it

[3:35]like

[3:36]I've I don't know I just have to just

[3:38]try I just have to try I really wanted

[3:42]to put reflectiv against that wall but

[3:44]there's so many wires

[3:47]there I don't know how to do it like I

[3:50]just don't

[3:51]know I'm going to try my best guys just

[3:57]best this I think is a water heater

[4:03]know it is wrapped you know in this kind

[4:07]insulation um if it were easier I might

[4:11]try to wrap that in

[4:12]reflecting I think this black pipe is

[4:15]probably the gas that's

[4:17]propane so you know I'll avoid that I'm

[4:21]just there's only so much I can do I

[4:24]think mainly I can only just put pink

[4:27]instulation in here and then what I'll

[4:31]do is I'll take these small boards here

[4:34]that you know that go on here and on the

[4:37]back sides I'll put reflecti just you

[4:40]know I'll just you know there'll be like

[4:42]a half inch where there's nothing and

[4:45]then the rest will be reflected CU I

[4:48]mean any little bit's going to help I

[4:53]assume so that's where we are I

[4:57]just I guess I shouldn't get too down

[5:00]about it I'm I'm doing something right

[5:02]I'm I'm trying and as my skills get

[5:06]better I can come back down here and do

[5:09]it again if I have to so I'm going to

[5:11]leave it there for now and just get

[5:13]started and I'll show you what it looks

[6:09]back wall I went around the wires you

[6:12]know I packed it but not tight I know

[6:15]you're not supposed to do it tightly but

[6:17]just you know to form it around stuff

[6:24]silver stuff the

[6:27]reflecti like you know

[6:30]like just make a wall with that in each

[6:33]of these spots and then maybe like a you

[6:36]know let's just call it a floor right

[6:37]there and then put the cabinet in and

[6:40]see if everything

[6:41]works um you know that way the

[6:45]insulation is out of the way it's not

[6:48]going anywhere it's formed now this you

[6:51]know I did it I feel like I insulate

[6:54]this real well you know you have access

[6:56]to your two

[6:57]water um whatever those things are

[7:00]called and I mean that's all you need if

[7:03]you need to go in there to fix something

[7:05]you can this is just little clumps of

[7:08]insulation it's not that you know it's

[7:10]not it's not in the

[7:11]way um and then I will end it by doing

[7:14]what I said putting reflecti on you know

[7:17]the ends

[7:18]here well not that one but you know

[7:20]where there's boards what I haven't done

[7:22]is come over here I'm not sure what to

[7:24]do

[7:26]with those vents being there I have to

[7:29]Fig figure out a way to be very safe

[7:32]about this um even over even over here

[7:37]like I just I can't cuz there are rents

[7:41]on the other side of that I can't go

[7:43]over here though from you know do this

[7:45]side and then and from in the

[7:47]bathroom and I think that's a real good

[7:50]start I'm so proud of myself I did

[7:54]this I just got started and it just kind

[7:57]of fell into place

[9:21]not well like there's nothing

[9:22]obstructing it so that's not the problem

[9:27]they're a little bit wider than they

[9:28]should be for the drawer it was real

[9:30]hard to put

[9:32]in if I pull it out too far it's going

[9:35]to come

[9:36]undone um I can have my dad look at

[9:39]that cuz this is a little bit outside

[9:41]like I don't think I I'm not going to

[9:44]figure that out but it's working and

[9:47]it's insulated looks
