[0:00]hey everyone uh it's still early Friday

[0:03]morning I've just been sitting here

[0:05]making a list of all the tasks I have to

[0:07]do there's a lot I'm going to share that

[0:09]with you in a minute um there's

[0:11]something I've been meaning to talk

[0:13]about though and I just keep forgetting

[0:15]to do it I did briefly talk about it um

[0:19]but I feel like I didn't

[0:20]really like I didn't give it the way

[0:23]that I need to give it so let me just

[0:25]try that now um so it's been a week I

[0:30]out my RV wow you know a whole week

[0:34]Friday

[0:36]um and it hasn't been fun yet you know

[0:39]it's sad to say that but it just it

[0:42]hasn't been fun yet and it's just

[0:44]because there's so much you have to do

[0:46]it's just it's a lot of effort and and

[0:49]adjustments and it's definitely not fun

[0:52]when it's cold in there it's just so

[0:54]cold so I just

[0:58]but I don't like like taking the joy out

[1:01]of things like I'm super excited about

[1:03]what I'm

[1:04]doing and I don't want to be in a

[1:07]position where where I'm just like

[1:10]waiting for Joy like that's I don't like

[1:13]that idea so I need to find ways of

[1:17]making this an enjoyable process so if

[1:19]you're like me and you are doing this

[1:22]soon or now or whatever um and it

[1:25]doesn't feel fun to

[1:27]you remind yourself of that and then

[1:29]find ways to make it fun so for example

[1:32]there's no reason I shouldn't be playing

[1:33]music in my RV I'm not doing that which

[1:36]is just that's just silly I should like

[1:37]why you know it's my new home I should

[1:41]just you know I have an Alexa music

[1:44]thing that I can put in technically the

[1:46]RV has its own you can connect to the

[1:47]Bluetooth it's probably fine I just

[1:49]don't know how to use it yet pointless

[1:51]oh that's pointless just listen to music

[1:53]in there um just find ways to make it a

[1:56]better experience for you but so let's

[1:58]just get to what what the main point of

[2:00]this so I'm going to show you my list

[2:03]here and it's going to grow guys so this

[2:06]is just what I've got this morning that

[2:09]I was thinking about and I want to

[2:10]explain these to you and

[2:13]why why they're listed this

[2:16]way so insulating like I'm not going to

[2:20]get all this done before I'm ready to go

[2:21]it's just it's not going to happen

[2:24]so I put down insulating the different

[2:26]areas a separate task and and here's why

[2:29]so I know I can insulate the kitchen now

[2:31]like that's what I'm doing

[2:33]first um I can't really insulate the

[2:37]bathroom yet because I don't know how to

[2:40]safely take

[2:42]apart the

[2:44]boards that you know under the sink I I

[2:47]I just don't know how to do it safely I

[2:49]think they probably used like little

[2:51]tiny nails or something to put it

[2:53]together if I take that apart if I try

[2:55]to pull that apart I'll probably break

[2:58]something and I'll never be able to get

[3:00]it back together so I just I'm not ready

[3:01]to do that I need to learn

[3:03]more and in the

[3:06]bedroom I am almost certain that I can

[3:09]just get under that bed and insulate a

[3:11]lot down there I from other videos I've

[3:14]seen there's a lot to do down there

[3:17]there is a space between my mattress and

[3:20]the other piece like the wide board

[3:23]there that might be there because of the

[3:25]slide you know so I got to figure all

[3:28]that out I had to learn about this stuff

[3:30]and then see can I get underneath of

[3:32]that big board which I should be able to

[3:34]because that's where most people will go

[3:35]to insulate and that will just really

[3:38]help in that area now I called it the

[3:40]office insulate the office that's the

[3:41]piece that's where the couch was that's

[3:44]going to basically be my office and

[3:45]living

[3:46]area um it has a door to the outside

[3:50]that I just need to cover I need to cut

[3:53]that off like like there isn't even a

[3:55]door there I need to rboard all of that

[3:58]um

[4:00]cuz yeah a lot of cold air is definitely

[4:01]getting in through

[4:03]there I that one I'll do so the kitchen

[4:06]and the office are the two big ones like

[4:07]they're the ones that I'm going to do

[4:09]before I leave and then the last one

[4:11]well no there's a couple insulate the

[4:13]cab area so that's the driving area I

[4:15]think that's called the cab correct me

[4:17]if I'm wrong I'm pretty sure it is so so

[4:20]my RV did come with these covers for the

[4:23]windows the sides and the front one the

[4:25]big front window I can't you I tried

[4:28]putting up the front one one when I

[4:30]didn't have anything on it it should

[4:31]have been easy it wasn't I just I

[4:33]couldn't get it to stay I don't know how

[4:35]to do it uh I assume it's possible right

[4:39]but you know I couldn't do it um but now

[4:42]my electronics are all like mounted

[4:45]everywhere in the front so it's just

[4:46]like that's no longer possible I started

[4:48]thinking well maybe I could put on the

[4:50]outside of the window maybe I could

[4:52]velcro it maybe I could

[4:53]put you know velcro strips on the sides

[4:57]of the window and then on maybe sew them

[5:00]in or something like that into

[5:05]the I don't know the word for it guys

[5:08]I'm sorry I just like you got to

[5:10]understand I'm a computer guy I

[5:13]basically lived on the internet I just

[5:15]did I lived on the internet and I just

[5:18]these common household like stuff like

[5:20]it's just not like I

[5:22]just just I put it out of my head

[5:24]because I'm like you know I got a lot of

[5:26]cat up here like there's no room for

[5:28]anything else

[5:30]so anyways just valky it on the outside

[5:33]maybe like that that might work and then

[5:36]the last insulating step is just

[5:38]insulate the outside and what I mean by

[5:40]that is the doors um to the little

[5:43]storage areas you can

[5:45]rboard the door part on the inside and

[5:49]basically that's it you don't really

[5:51]need to do anything else just do that

[5:52]cuz that'll help a lot you've got to

[5:55]custom measure it all so that you can

[5:57]make tight fits without like having to

[5:59]to put adhesive on them and stuff like

[6:01]that from the all all this is from that

[6:03]video I

[6:04]watched so all these are pretty big

[6:07]projects right so it's going to take

[6:09]time I'm not going to get them all done

[6:11]before I'm ready to

[6:12]go it's just something I you know that

[6:15]I'll be working on over like the next

[6:17]year or whatever the next six months

[6:19]whatever um so next I've got solar power

[6:22]setup and

[6:23]storage basically have you know an idea

[6:27]of how I'm doing that so the solar the

[6:29]power setup is simply I've got to put

[6:32]the

[6:33]big um batteries and the a I don't know

[6:36]what the what is that called like

[6:41]battery inverter um power system

[6:45]whatever they're

[6:46]huge and that's going to go in the

[6:48]office area I'm just going to put them

[6:50]there and then I'll from there I'll

[6:51]figure out how best to make use of it

[6:56]right um but I'll probably store my

[6:59]solar panels in my Jeep now here I have

[7:02]to be careful because when I want to tow

[7:04]my Jeep I'm pretty close to my limits so

[7:07]I can't store a lot in there and there's

[7:09]a couple things I might need to store in

[7:11]there as long as I stay under my limits

[7:13]I'm fine with this guys um maybe it

[7:16]makes it a little harder or you got to

[7:18]go a little

[7:19]slower

[7:21]um you know or and you're you're

[7:26]you're you're putting more work on your

[7:28]engine oh that get all of that guys I'm

[7:30]still I still want to do it okay I'm not

[7:33]losing my Jeep love my Jeep as long as I

[7:35]am in the legal limits I'm fine so um

[7:39]the solar panels will probably just go

[7:40]in the back of my Jeep when I'm not

[7:42]using

[7:43]them it's not a perfectly secure

[7:45]solution cuz I have a soft top but it is

[7:47]what it is and then next is the portable

[7:50]propane solution I haven't talked about

[7:52]this yet but I don't want to go through

[7:55]the propane system in my RV it's down

[7:58]to 33% right now

[8:03]um if you have to drive that because it

[8:06]doesn't come out if you have to drive it

[8:08]somewhere to fill it up with propane

[8:09]every couple of days then it's not a

[8:11]solution that works for me because I

[8:13]want to be dry docking places for weeks

[8:16]at a time so it just it isn't workable

[8:18]solution so I need to get portable tanks

[8:21]that I can put in my Jeep maybe store

[8:23]them when driving from one place to the

[8:26]next um that I can just put in my Jeep

[8:29]and take somewhere fill them up and

[8:30]bring them back and then hook them up

[8:33]like there's some kind of there's a

[8:36]system for doing that need to learn

[8:38]about it so that I do it right and you

[8:41]know it's pretty simple though like I

[8:42]think that's going to be a good solution

[8:43]for me so I've got to think about my

[8:46]solar panels and the size of the propane

[8:48]tanks I get and how much those weigh not

[8:51]only by themselves but when they're

[8:52]filled out because I know they probably

[8:55]they probably weigh a

[8:56]lot so I got to keep the limits down you

[8:59]know I I want to be I will always be in

[9:02]the legal limit I promise you that so

[9:05]still need to get my Jeep way just to

[9:06]figure out where it is now and just what

[9:08]can I what do I have to work with and so

[9:11]I'll be doing that soon and then NE um

[9:14]Jeep Towing systems on there because you

[9:16]know I still just got to get the stuff

[9:18]in the front I have that scheduled for

[9:19]the 18th in a video I said it was the

[9:21]28th I just got the date wrong the 18th

[9:24]couple days from now I'll take that in

[9:26]they'll have my D for three days and

[9:28]then

[9:30]um hopefully I'm done with that and then

[9:33]next um I need toall install ring

[9:36]indoors like just inside the camper just

[9:40]my you know different devices my base

[9:41]station my keypad uh I saw a lot of

[9:44]videos since the last one I made I just

[9:47]did the search on YouTube one of one of

[9:50]the people who watches me don't know

[9:52]what to call you guys of viewers friends

[9:56]like I don't really know but he's

[9:59]awesome or she I don't know you know and

[10:03]they've left comments on a lot of my

[10:05]videos since the beginning and just

[10:07]everything they say is just super

[10:09]helpful and and they said you know you

[10:12]can search for anything on YouTube this

[10:14]was in a different video and I

[10:16]remembered that comment and so I you

[10:18]know so I did I I searched

[10:20]for you know how to mount ring devices

[10:23]on an RV lots of stuff came up so so

[10:28]there's two install ring indoors and

[10:30]star ring

[10:31]outdoors and so indoors it's the base

[10:35]station the keypad maybe a camera that's

[10:37]what I was getting at um not a camera a

[10:40]a ring doorbell camera um because a lot

[10:43]of the videos were just about that so

[10:46]and I didn't even think of that but you

[10:47]know that would be nice to have so going

[10:50]to do that and then on the outdoors are

[10:53]just my cameras like up to four of those

[10:56]for safety reasons I they're mounted you

[10:59]can just and they have like a clip so

[11:01]you can just uncp it and put it inside

[11:04]and it'll be fine forever and then just

[11:05]put it back on when you get

[11:08]somewhere I wanted to avoid that because

[11:11]I'd like to use these cameras while I'm

[11:13]driving sometimes just so that I can see

[11:15]what's in the lanes around me and you

[11:17]know I already have cameras on it they

[11:19]came with it but I just don't really

[11:21]trust them yet when I get take it out to

[11:23]a parking lot I will set up some cones

[11:28]try to figure out does it see the

[11:31]entire um just to figure out how what

[11:34]does it see you know I just need to know

[11:37]that what are the blind spots that sort

[11:38]of

[11:39]thing um did get the mirror extensions

[11:43]and they're working but I'm a little

[11:44]concerned

[11:46]that the

[11:48]straps I don't know how to describe this

[11:51]well but these straps had little notches

[11:53]in them and I think that helps to make

[11:55]sure the strap doesn't come off in order

[11:58]to get them around my mirror I had to go

[12:00]past those so I don't really trust this

[12:02]solution I actually bought another set

[12:05]of mirrors that will be coming soon then

[12:09]I'm going to try it it was a different

[12:10]setup one of the pictures showed them

[12:12]being set up on mirrors like mine so it

[12:16]might just be better I'm going to try

[12:18]because like Safety First always safety

[12:20]first um I think I'm losing track where

[12:22]I was

[12:26]so I just I want to be as safe as

[12:28]possible on the road and if I feel like

[12:30]you know okay I've got a view of

[12:33]everything around me that that fear is

[12:36]going to just go away it just is because

[12:38]that's the only thing holding me back I

[12:41]need to know that I'm not going to

[12:43]sideswipe someone if I can be sure of

[12:46]that then then then I'm good to go so

[12:50]next I need to mount dash cams and I

[12:52]need to do that both in my Jeep and my

[12:53]RV technically you know my jeep has the

[12:56]front one but it's not the back one's

[12:58]not my Ed yet and it's

[13:01]not um wired into my battery yet I'm

[13:05]actually going to

[13:06]ask the people who put in my Jeep Towing

[13:10]system I think they could do it cuz it's

[13:11]real simple right um and since they're

[13:14]going to be doing some kind of wiring

[13:15]stuff anyways that maybe they could just

[13:17]do it for

[13:18]me um but I'll still have to figure out

[13:21]how to do it on the RV because you want

[13:22]them to just um you really want them

[13:24]hooked up to your batteries and you know

[13:27]that gives me some additional views for

[13:29]different purposes and so those are a

[13:31]couple more tasks and then these are

[13:33]kind of the other side of things so I

[13:35]need to get a mail forwarding service

[13:37]where I just have an address stuff goes

[13:40]there when I get somewhere and I want my

[13:43]mail I can just call them or whatever

[13:45]get on their website and just tell them

[13:46]please send it here

[13:49]um UPS stores have have that service

[13:54]there are some RV ones

[13:56]too haven't researched them real well

[13:58]maybe may I will maybe I won't you know

[14:03]this uh I need to pick a domicile State

[14:07]considering how much money I've had to

[14:09]pay the state to register my vehicles

[14:12]now before I've even left at least for

[14:14]the next year I might just keep

[14:18]pick a doicy state and then I got to

[14:20]look into health insurance and pet

[14:21]insurance that's my list so

[14:24]far um there's a lot more that probably

[14:27]should be on there like dealing with the

[14:28]inside out of this house getting rid of

[14:30]my stuff all of

[14:31]that but you

[14:34]know that this is what I've got for now
