Acclimating Cats to RV Living Space
The speaker is in their RV with Bailey the cat, working on helping the animal adjust to the new living space. The environment is described as hot from the heater, and they have screen doors open for ventilation. This appears to be early in their RV living experience as they're still figuring out space management and power usage.

[1:23]okay it's new
[1:27]environment yep I'm definitely not going
[1:30]to keep him out here for long I see I
[1:32]put him on the bed when I brought him in
[1:33]cuz I thought yeah he probably feel safe
[1:35]as soon it's
[1:37]okay do you recognize the
[1:40]Jeep my
[1:43]bet you're
[1:46]safe are you scared you're the one that
[1:49]wanted it out buddy and you're going to
[1:51]have to get used to
[1:53]this um you don't have to you don't have
[1:55]to stay long like I'll take you back
[1:57]inside I promise but I want you to get
[2:01]used you know just familiar familiarize
[2:05]yourself with the place a little
[2:07]bit this is our new home it's our new
[2:11]home it sure is and you're going to love
[2:14]it you're going to have all kinds of
[2:17]Adventures you're going to have a great
[2:19]time I
[2:21]promise you are going to love this life
[2:24]you just you just got to get used to it
[2:27]just like I've had to get used to it
[2:29]this is scary I
[2:31]know but that's okay here's not a bad
[2:35]there you go
[2:37]yeah yeah cuz he's going to I know he's
[2:40]claiming that window I just know
[2:43]it um Oliver will probably be forbidden
[2:46]to even be back
[2:49]here hope are there any pet smells on
[2:52]this thing cuz this isn't our mattress
[2:54]is it whose mattress is this it's not
[2:57]ours any pet smells
[3:01]it's hot in here isn't it that heater
[3:03]really works some magic or
[3:06]something man it is already
[3:10]hot let might turn it off I mean I got
[3:13]the screen door open but let's just turn
[3:15]it
[3:16]off heat pump off okay just turn
[3:21]off hi buddy I love you what do you
[3:25]think H yeah oh so by the way guys my
[3:29]mom had this idea and I think this is a
[3:31]great idea and you should know this um
[3:33]if you're going to do this um don't
[3:36]acclimate your cats together like first
[3:38]of all Bailey is the
[3:40]more um territorial one like just you
[3:44]know give them time up by themselves so
[3:48]when Bailey's done I'll take him in and
[3:50]then I will get out of
[3:51]her and you know give them time and when
[3:54]it seems like they're finally just
[3:56]relaxing you know maybe it takes a week
[3:58]or whatever once once they're relaxing
[4:01]then you can bring them in together I
[4:02]think that's a really good way to
[4:03]acclimate
[4:05]them and they'll work it
[4:08]out what are you looking for so I think
[4:11]what I'll do now cuz I need him to feel
[4:14]like it's safe right so can't just be
[4:17]staring at them I got to come up here
[4:19]and just you know like I'm just living
[4:22]my life over
[4:26]here
[4:28]hi
[4:30]hce look at that we got lots of room
[4:33]don't we you could do some Zoomies not
[4:35]long ones but you could do them you
[4:38]could do
[4:42]them uhoh you're going to start CL stuff
[4:46]I guarantee they
[4:48]hurt what you doing what you
[4:56]doing that's my mom on the walkietalkie
[5:00]oh I love it it's like being kids again
[5:02]where did I put
[5:04]mine
[5:06]uhoh where's my walkie-talkie
[5:10]at I heard
[5:12]her okay okay dude I like um plugged my
[5:17]so it has Bluetooth but I couldn't it
[5:19]wasn't working right but um yeah I was
[5:21]playing my music in here I figured I
[5:22]better turn it off so I don't get
[5:26]anyways um that's good cuz Bailey just
[5:29]needs a bit of time with himself and
[5:31]then I'll bring him in and I'll bring
[5:33]Oliver
[5:36]out um so say hi cuz I'm on
[5:41]video
[5:43]no Mom don't be so shy just say hi my
[5:46]last video didn't come out I'm not even
[5:48]posting
[5:49]that hello
[5:52]everyone okay so just let me um deal
[5:55]with Bailey's basically sitting on the
[5:57]bed he's like too scared to even get off
[5:59]the bed
[6:05]okay so how about we open this window or
[6:08]maybe let me just sit in here with you
[6:11]okay you're safe buddy you don't got to
[6:13]be
[6:14]worried so let's just let's just move
[6:17]this pillow okay and let's just open the
[6:20]screen up here get some fresh
[6:23]air get yourself some fresh air
[6:28]okay Miss this is what you wanted you
[6:30]wanted to be
[6:31]outside we live in a camper now we
[6:33]basically do live
[6:36]outside you know I don't even know if
[6:39]he's really I don't know how familiar he
[6:41]is with this part of the like usually
[6:44]he's in the backyard you know where're
[6:45]next to the
[6:47]neighbors I don't know how I don't even
[6:49]know if he knows where he
[6:51]is so that window don't open baby I
[6:53]don't think you know I don't oh that's
[6:57]the emergency window um
[7:00]yeah that don't really
[7:03]open oh
[7:05]right so cool so cool I wonder how much
[7:10]power I'm using though I'm going to run
[7:12]out of
[7:13]bit what do you think Bailey yeah this
[7:17]is a good idea just sit on the bed with
[7:18]him
[7:20]and you
[7:26]know it's nice huh this is
[7:30]I mean I got to kind of get rid of this
[7:31]bed I don't know cuz I was thinking
[7:33]about it um this is the piece right here
[7:37]that I can put stuff on like my blue
[7:39]Eddie this is it I can't put it
[7:42]like um you know the slide comes out and
[7:46]then you got more space here but this
[7:48]space will be empty
[7:50]because I mean you can't put it there
[7:52]the slide can't come in so this is your
[7:54]space this is what I have to work with
[7:57]it's enough you know um the weight thing
[8:01]though like that's a little concerned
[8:02]I'm a little worried about that um I
[8:05]don't know because you're sleeping at
[8:07]but then you're kind of balanced I don't
[8:08]know I better really do my research on
[8:11]that before I do
[8:15]anything so
[8:19]yeah you okay
[8:22]baby you
[8:24]okay this one likes the headb I don't
[8:27]know if he'll do it now cuz you know
[8:28]he's kind nervous but let's see if I can
[8:30]get him to do it
[8:32]Bailey hey Bailey Bailey
[8:37]Bailey hey headbutt me there you go can
[8:41]I get a headbutt a so sweet you're so
[8:46]sweet yes you are you're
[8:50]sweet yeah he's getting better are you
[8:55]purring can't
[8:58]tell he can Pur super loud by the way
[9:00]guys so like usually you know that you
[9:03]know when that cat's
[9:06]purring
[9:08]um do I go I don't know I'm a little
[9:11]nervous like do I go get Oliver or yeah
[9:14]he is Oliver me
[9:16]now
[9:18]um yeah do what I said do them separate
[9:22]just give them time give them space
[9:25]and um yeah he's bur a little bit
[9:30]you can go look you don't have to stay
[9:32]right here see if I can get him to
[9:34]follow
[9:36]me come
[9:38]on
[9:39]baby
[9:41]baby his name's Bailey I don't know what
[9:43]I call him baby I just
[9:45]do Bailey Bailey come here headbut
[9:51]headbut yeah okay how about you come
[9:55]down here how about you come here just
[9:58]jump
[9:59]jump down here come over
[10:03]here you don't have to stay on the
[10:06]bed so yeah I'll post this as two videos
[10:09]because this one's already kind of long
[10:11]I'll just make a separate one for
[10:14]Oliver um I'll leave it at that guys
[10:17]I'll just I'm going to hang out with him
[10:19]out here for a while and then I'll take
[10:20]him in and then I'll get Oliver so this
[10:23]will be day one for my
[10:26]cats
Summary
The speaker introduces their cat Bailey to their new RV living space for the first time. Bailey appears nervous and stays on the bed initially while the speaker reassures him and explains this is their new home. The speaker discusses their plan to acclimate each cat separately - first Bailey, then Oliver - rather than together, based on advice from their mother. They open windows for fresh air, sit with Bailey to help him feel safe, and explain the RV layout and space constraints. The speaker mentions using walkie-talkies to communicate with their mother and plans to make this the first of two videos documenting the cats' transition to RV life.
